Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hi Srajan., Medication:- 1. Drakaharishta-10ml with warm water before food twice a day 2. Kooshmanda rasayana-1tsp daily twice followed by milk. Medicines you will get it on www.eguduchi.com. Tips:- 1.In general, favor light, fresh foods. 2.Drink fresh juice: pomegranate and pineapple. 3.Take 1tbsp of ghee and add 1tbsp of sugar to it mix and lick this mixture little by little in empty stomach just before lunch and dinner .and then after 30 mins you can have your meals. - Continue this for atleast a month to see the benifits 4..ake a habbit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee mixed or stirred into itwith little sugar .Here sugar is for taste. 5. Boost up your apittite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins.May be brisk walk,or just alittle bit of walking,dancing etc. 6.Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night .this should be taken empty stomach.It will also increase the Hb% .thus acts as two in one. 7. Try to remain calm and happy.this contentment is really required because this is always related to mind .Body and mind are interlinked...So well balanced state of body with mind is called as a healthy condition or the man is called healthy.

Each body is different. You should not compare with others. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds / cashew daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 5. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. 6. Dals have good protien. Have more rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any supplements. Nature has best products. 9. Go for regular walks / exercise / do yoga. Sleep well. 10. Take deworming tablets every six month. Feel confident about yourself and be positive. All the best.

Dear lybrateuser, -do salt water gargles 3-4 times in a day -avoid drinking cold water & other cold drinks, have more of warm fluids like tea , coffee, milk -take tab paracetamol, 1 tab three times a day -avoid spicy & sour foods -do hot fomentation on chest area where it pains.

Hi you should take a balanced diet with right ratio of calories, protein & carb. This diet will help you a healthy gain 2-3 kg in month. You should take a healthy meal in every 3 hours. Don't drink water or any liquid before or while eating. Foods-dairy products, soya, sprouts, egg, potato, rice etc.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Good afternoon, There are unfortunately NO tests for assessing the pain or the tingling sensation in your body. However, ​if you would like you may undergo a nerve conduction study and find out the way in which your nerves function. With regards to your condition regarding restlessness and palpitation, if your cardiac evaluation is normal, you should need a thorough neuropsychiatric evaluation which will also help in your tingling and pain sensations​. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks.

Ayurveda and Knee Pain

Ayurveda is a very old system of medicine, which originated in India. Using herbs found in nature to cure various illnesses, knee pain can also be permanently cured with this method indigenous to India. It reduces knee pain caused by various illnesses including arthritis, inflammation of the cartilage and wearing of the patella among others.

Here are some common Ayurvedic remedies, which help reduce knee pain:

  1. Alfalfa: Alfalfa is medically known as Medicago Sativa. Alfalfa is excellent for making sure that your joint pain reduces, when taken in liquid form four times a day.
  2. Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha is medically known as Withania Somnifera. In the West, Ashwagandha is popularly known as Winter Cherry. Also, it has a lot of therapeutic properties, which include reducing joint pains. 
  3. Banyan: The Banyan tree's medical name is Ficus Benghalensis. It has a sap very similar to the form of rubber known as latex is derived from the Banyan tree. The Banyan tree's sap is externally applied over the joints and the pain usually disappears after a few regular applications. 
  4. Bishop's weed: The medical name for Bishop's weed is Trachyspermum Ammi. The oil extracted from this herb is usually applied to the knees to reduce the intensity of such knee pains.
  5. Celery: The medical name for celery is Apium Graveolens. Celery is not only an effective treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and associated pains in the knees, but it is also helpful in treating gout. It is usually agreed upon that this particular treatment is usually long lasting because of its alkaline nature.
  6. Dandelion: Dandelion's biological name is Taraxacum Officinale. It is rich in magnesium and is crucial for the correct mineralization of the bones. This mineralization allows the bones to become stronger and also prevents knee pain.
  7. Garlic: The medical name for garlic is allium sativum. Five to six cloves eaten everyday has proved to reduce knee pains.
  8. Ginger: Ginger is biologically called Zingiber Officinale. These can be easily included in your diet and go a long way in curbing knee pain.

Hye. Thankyoufor the query. Health or stamina cannot be made by a pill or medicine. Supplementation will only help if you are deficient in some nutrient. First try to improve your lifestyle and habits. To maintain consistent energy levels: Eat a breakfast high in protein and fibre within an hour of waking up to jump start your metabolism. Spread out your protein intake and include healthy fats and fibre in meals. Eat a snack or small meal that includes protein, veggies or fruit, and a complex carbohydrate every three hours while awake. Avoid eating meals with high amounts of fat and/or protein especially when in college (e.g. A double-cheeseburger with fries or wadapav). These meals can make you feel sluggish as a result of blood rushing to your digestive organs to deal with the large amount of food and fat. Meals with high levels of fat and protein can also dramatically slow the release of carbohydrates (needed for energy) to your blood. Avoid eating within two hours of sleeping to enhance your sleep and avoid gastrointestinal problems. Be a mindful eater Mindful eating means eating with more thought and attention. With mindful eating you’ll enjoy your food more and you’ll likely feel more satisfied after you’re done eating. Mindful eating can also help calm your mind. To eat mindfully: Eat slowly Notice the flavours of the food you are eating Reflect on the fact that you are nourishing your body Step away from your computer Turn off the TV Take a break from working.
