I have pain from backside of my head which flows to the right hand thru the shoulders. All around the same shoulder is severely paining. Consulted a lot of dr's but no relief. I am a stenographer working in indian navy and need to drive scooter for 28 kms daily. An ayurvedic Dr. Says that my body is filled with water (neerkkettu). I consulted neuro Dr. Also. But in vain. What shall I do sir?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

These are called occupational hazards . so first go for pain relief modalities in physiotherapy and then most imp is exercise do strenghtening ex of your back as no medicine can strengthen ur back

Get your Hemoglobin and stool examined.You have to take some hematinic and digestive enzyme after consulting doctor

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

I got a back pain during my workout in gym. Last week. It pains hard what to do to cure it quickly.
Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

My age is 65 years and I have been treated for rheumatoid and taking nicosia tab 120mg daily and medrol 16mg once a week. But if I sit on chair for 2hours or more I get pain in my back. Please advise me.

Well, for rheumatoid nucoxia and medrol are not the good options. Considering your age it can have an impact on the kidneys. If it is rheumatoid you will have to take proper treatment for it like folitrax (methotrexate). Kindly consult a rheumatologist around you. Backpain is not a symptom of rheumatoid arthritis. So it has to be looked into. Regards.

I have my back pain from last 20 days. What are the symptoms of back pain? What is its medication?
If you have low back pain and sciatica you can undergo intermittent pelvic traction where in your half of your body weight will be added in the electronic traction so that that would help you to reduce the pain, along with Interferential therapy stimulations which would help you to get relieved from the radiating pain. Apply ice for the pain to get subsided immediately. If you cannot go immediately for the physiotherapy treatment. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear Lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear MCR chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.
