I am 20 years old. L have a pain on my right foot since 7 days. I think it would be serious. Pls consult as soon as possible.

Do contrast bath therapy. Take hot water in bucket & in another bucket take cold water. First immerse your foot in hot water for 3min then immediately move to cold water for 1min, keep repeating for 20min. Do this twice daily. Do ankle pumps & isometrics

Hello lybrate user, - as preventive measures you can follow few things like - maintaining position of back while sitting, traveling etc -careful while lifting heavy weight without back support - avoid some foods like potato, brinjal, peas, etc which are told to avoid in ayurveda - daily application if some medicated oils keeps our body strengthy. - for the present pain, apply mahanarayana taila and do hot fomentation for 15 min for 10 days. -if it is muscular pain then it will relieve by that time, if not go for x-ray to rule out bone or disc involvement thank you.

I have back pain form last 4-5 months. What I do. I also work on laptop at least 7 hours in a day.

I am having trouble with muscle pain in the legs, arms, pain in neck areas & lower back problem. I seem to be drowsy & not interested in doing anything. There is pain behind my eyes also. Please let me know the condition.

Requires detail examination and investigation investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d xray of the affected part. Anyway you may try-sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

I feel tired while doing exercise. Knee pain is common when I walk briskly or play something. Wt should I have in my diet. I have 11hb level in my blood. Please suggest properly I'm depressed.Please tell.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Stress is sometimes good for you. When you stretch yourself beyond your capacity, your body accepts challenge and increase the capacity to cope up with challenge. To a certain extent, it is good for body. But when the stress crosses the limits, it starts hurting you. That's the bad stress for you. Moderate stress for too long a time also is bad for you. Most of the hormonal diseases like diabetes, thyroid etc. Occur because of long standing underlying moderate stress.

Stress can be physical or mental. Physical stress is due to long and continuous physical activities like walking, jogging, travelling, cycling. Mental stress is mainly because of financial tension or relationship distress. Both types of stress cause similar damages to body. Stress is the main underlying cause behind diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid, diabetes, kidney disease, peptic ulcer, bleeding disorders, cancer, recurrent infections etc.

Finding out the reason of stress and removal of cause of stress should be the main line of treatment of such diseases.

Hello. Unsual sound from knees is not always a disease. It can be absolutely normal. As far as other joint pains are concerned you need to see a Rheumatologist. Do not worry, does not sound like a dreaded disease.

Recently while playing Badminton I have gained some pain in my Right Shoulder joint. It pains whenever I try to lift my arm. What can be the reason and possible solution other that using pain killer or Balms?

You may have got muscle strain. Rest your shoulder for a few days. Avoid lifting any weights or exerting too much. Apply cold pack for 10-15 mins everyday. If you don't feel better in 5 days then get an xray done and show an orthopedic surgeon.

I am a 21 year old man and I have severe back pain from last two weeks, what can I do as a home remedy?

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. To start with, take Rhus tox 200--once daily in the morning and evening for 6 days.

eat foods that are rich in calcium ,magnesium and iron ... calcium and magnesium help regrowth of the bone tissue. iron helps in blood circulation to the injured area so that healing process fastens . you can have all dairy products and fruits like banana ,apple, green leafy vegetables etc... avoid spicy and junk food cos they delay the healing process .
