There could be several reasons for low Hb% that needs to be identified and treated. However you should take beetroot daily in your diet along with milk/banana/dates. Knee pain- your mother's problem appears to be her extra weight. This causes strain on her knees and causes knee pain. Efforts are to be made to reduce weight. Other reasons can be- *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain or injury, take rest. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good take bryonia 200---thrice daily morning, afternoon and evening and give feedback after 7 days

Footwear modification is also advised..use of heel wedges,stretching exercises,joint mobilisation,u can consult a physiotherapist for this.All this should help.

My son is 26 year old. He got internal injury in right knee n there was sprain. Dr. Has given some pain killer and advise mri. Mri report shows-1. Interstitial tear/mucoid degeneration involving anterior cruciate ligament. 2. Grade 1 signal of medial n lateral collateral ligament 3. Grade 1 signal in the posterior horn of medical meniscus. 4. Moderate joint effusion. Kindly advice whether surgery is must. Or ayurvedic medicine will help. Awaiting your early reply.

Dear, your pain is radiating type like sciatica. You may have history of lifted heavy weight. its fine but you have to consult physio and go to clinic take lumbar traction for immediate pain relief. Take ift therapy also.

Hello sir, My uncle has met with brain stroke 3 years back. As of now he is gud but his left hand is just like we keep the hand when fractured and his fingers are closed just we close our fingers. Nerves are clumsy and are not free to move. His ring finger makes all fingers to be close. His fist is always closed due to tight fix of nerves. Is there any injection to free up nerves so that he can easily open and close his hands.

Dear, although I am not a neurologist, I would like to still answer your question. Your uncle has suffered from brain stroke, which means part of the brain tissue controlling movements of his right side of the body is affected/damaged. This happens when blood supply to that area is blocked for some reason, say blockade in artery supplying that part. Subsequent recovery depends upon restoration of that blood flow, and how quickly its restored. After initial stage recovery in such cases takes a long time. Continued treatment with physiotherapy is required to bring back some functions. But some residual weakness may remain. Best of luck.

Sciatica is pain affecting the back, hip, and outer side of the leg, caused by compression of a spinal nerve root in the lower back, often owing to degeneration of an intervertebral disc. Ayurvedic medicines are very effective in case of sciatica. Apply prasarini oil with light hand on affected part and give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 spoon two times a day. Pranacharya sciatica capsule 1-1 after lunch and dinner. Maha yograj guggul -1 after lunch and dinner. Avoid tea. Coffee. Fermented food. Junk food. Spicy food. Cigarettes. Alcohol. Take milk. Fruits. Green vegetables. Do pranayama early in the morning. Walk for 30 minutes a day. Do sciatica exercise stretching. And leg exercises.

Please take Mag phos 12x - twice daily for some time. Also if the pain is still continuing then do a x-ray of the lumbo-sacral joint. Do morning exercise and running to keep yourself free.

Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. As per your complaint. Back pain is due to strain for hours together work or might have lifted heavy load or having poor posture. Please get it assessed by orthopaedician or physiotherapist. Advise: regular exercises for back helps to improve muscle strength. Posture correction if any.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. L Carnetine 500mg 1 tab ODx10 Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
