Try this for joint pains. Identify the midpoint between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

My father is having. Back ache and pain in knee joint of right leg. When he wake up in the morning he suffers from this tpye of pain. He is suffering this pain since 2 weeks. He exclaims that when he sit on one place and then rise up he gets pain! Please provide with your best advise.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

I am 60 years young. I suffrer from back pain. I can not walk continious for more than 20 to 25 minutes. After that I must sit for 2 to 3 minutes. Then again I can walk further. Same way I can not stand for more than half hour. I ave to pause for 5 to 10 minutes sitting. Then again I can walk for another 15 to 30 minutes. Please advise what shoud I do and where to go? pain is down below at the end of spiral cord. So far I have never consulated any doctor in this connection.

mam these symptoms dont suggest pregnancy....if u miss ur period go for urine pregnancy test dat will rule out pregnancy....moreover i think these symptoms are premenstrual...some females feel abdominal bloating and backpain few days before the periods

It could be due to 1.severe physical exertion 2.Check your Hemoglobin, Bp 3.take good nourishing diet 4. Drink plenty of water 5. Get your self physically examined by doctor. 6. consult me for further advice

Hello lybrate user, there are lots of causes of your concern but I feel it might be due to electrolyte imbalances in your blood (such as sodium or potassium) but do consult physician for any other medical issue. Limit or stop using caffeine. Some people are sensitive to caffeine and may notice more symptoms when using caffeine products (such as tea, coffee, soft drinks, and some over-the-counter medications). If you smoke, stop smoking. Limit your intake of alcohol. If not hypertensive can have lemon juice with sugar and salt or water with glucose and electoral powder once or twice a day depending upon the severity.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Back support is especially important for patients who spend many hours sitting in an office chair or standing throughout the day.
Not maintaining good posture and adequate back support can add strain to muscles and put stress on the spine. Over time, the stress of poor posture can change the anatomical characteristics of the spine, leading to the possibility of constricted blood vessels and nerves, as well as problems with muscles, discs, and joints. All of these can be major contributors to back and neck pain, as well as headaches, fatigue, and possibly even concerns with major organs and breathing.

Reason should be explored. I need history, test reports, health issues if any. However Tab Shigru and Rumalya forte of Himalaya drug company 1 bid each for 15 days; massage with Mahavishgarbh oil daily night and bath with warm water and drink pure turmeric in milk half teaspoon daily twice.

I'm facing a lot of trouble with my legs . Before a week I wasn't able too walk cause of the heavy pain and weakness. I have been on medication its ok Now .but still if I walk or do any work I'm getting pain in my legs. Is it weakness or some fracture!

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on affected part and massage then give hot fomentation. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 twice a day. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid spicy food. Junk food. Fermented food. Tea. Coffee. Do pranayama early morning. Do exercise. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time.

Hello lybrate-user, have undergone xray for the knee joint? there are many reasons for the cause of knee pain. If you stand for a long time or sitdown for long duration and deficiency of calcium can cause knee pain. I suggest you to diagnose the cause of knee pain for perfect treatment.
