There is a cut in my tongue in middle like some one cut it. But it is naturally .what is reason for it. It is a disease or. What Plzz tell I am scaring.

MDS - Orthodontics, BDS
Dentist,
Tissue condition is called fissured tongue. Fissured tongue generally doesn’t require treatment. However, it’s important to maintain proper oral and dental care, such as brushing the top surface of the tongue to remove food debris and clean the tongue. Bacteria and plaque can collect in the fissures, leading to bad breath and an increased potential for tooth decay. Keep up with your normal dental care routine, including daily brushing and flossing. Visit your dentist twice each year for a professional cleaning.

Diet restrictions: for most situations, common sense will tell you what to avoid. Hard, sticky, chewy, and brittle foods and foods high in sugar must be avoided. Hard and brittle foods can break or damage wires and brackets. Broken brackets lead to delays in your treatment progress. Sticky and chewy foods can get caught between brackets and wires. Minimize sugary foods; they cause tooth decay and related problems. Nail/cuticle biting, pencil and pen chewing and chewing on foreign objects should be avoided. Avoid these foods - bubble gum (sugar-free gum is okay), sticky candy, nuts, popcorn, hard breads crust/rolls, pizza crust, apples and carrots (unless cut into small pieces or shredded), minimize sugary foods like: cake ice cream cookies candy try to avoid: soda sweetened tea any drinks with excess sugar.

Hello doctor I am suffering from bad breathing /bad smelling of mouth. I am using sensodyne Colgate also used lysrine but no effect. So please tell me something.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too.

I am suffering from sensitivity in my teeth? What should I do for get rid from this problem.
Hello! Sensitivity in teeth could be normal in certain individuals to a certain extent. It could also be an indicator to a cavity or loss of tooth structure. You need to get your teeth examined to identify the cause and get treated accordingly. Meanwhile you can use a toothpaste like Sensodyne or Thermoseal RA to reduce the sensitivity. I strongly advice to get a check up done first, to avoid delaying treatment for the cause.
