Current cut off for FBS during primacy is 93. You can repeat it from a reputed lab. It's advisable to visit endocrinologist. Some diet will be required. You definitely do not require medications at present.

You can go ahead but make sure you do it under the supervision of a gynaecologist as it may not be safe to take the tablets on your own without consulting anyone.

Hi Doctor, Just need to know about Fibroid, I'm 25 years old. My mother & maternal grandmother had this problem. So will it create any problem during my pregnancy. Currently I'm not planning any such thing. Should I start thinking about it? & Is this problem hereditary? If yes, what & how can I know about my changes about it & if there is any precaution I need to take. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user, Yes sometimes fibroid can be hereditary, but it doesn't mean that you'll get one. Checking out your thyroid & Parathyroid hormones profile, Blood calcium levels from time to time may help you prevent from getting fibroid. Drinking alot of water, fresh fruits, calcium & vit-D supplements (if required), physical exercise etc will surely help you prevent from fibroid. Thank you.

Sometimes urine pregnancy test shows positive result late. U need repeat testing. If negative then you should take regestron for withdrawal blood. 3 days regestron is to short course to induce periods.

Super fact of the day - 20th October, 2015
Super fact of the day: Kidneys filter blood about 300 times a day!

All the blood in your body (about 5-6 liters) passes through the kidneys about 300 times. Which totals to about 1700 liters. It makes around 170 liters of primary urine - which later becomes urine.

Hello doctor! I am 20 years old. My boyfriend's precum which is dried touched my vagina. He fingered my vagina but the precum is already dried by that time. This happened on 30 August 2018 and my last periods occurred on August 10. Is there a chance of pregnancy in this case? Is it necessary to use i-pill or unwanted 72 pills and mention the side-effects of these pills. Am really worried. Please do help me out with this.

From what you describe chances of pregnancy are very low almost ni. If in doubt then unwanted 72 within 72 hours of sex, knowing that After taking high hormonal emergency pill like unwanted 72 one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then new cycle starts.

Hello the tablet is anticonvulsant and it is category C drug during pregnancy. That is benefits outweigh the risks. If it is more beneficial for your wife's condition it can be continued during pregnancy. In the current dosage level it is not secreted in breast milk .Even if it will be minimal. So consult you doctor and decide.
