I was taking thyrox 75 mcg and observed all symptoms of Thyroid swelling on my face and below chin, irritation, depression almost all the symptoms and weight gained to 57 kg. On 8july 17 TSH= 3.43uUI/ml, FT3=3.19pg/ml, FT4=19.14 pmole/it. And weight gained to 59 kg. From 16th of August started taking thyrox 25 mcg tablet for 16 days and stopped taking medicine from 1st of september. On 8th September TSH 123 ng/dl, T4 9.2 μg/dl, TSH <0.01 μIU/ml From 15th of September to 20th of November I stop taking Thyrox 25 mcg and after that my weight got loss to 54 kg, observed no symptoms of thyroid like before hair fall etc and was feeling better. Now my period cycle is 25 days (Observing 2 days spotting before start of cycle and 1st days normal and 2nd day heavy flow, 3rd day very less and no flow on 4th day) On 20November FT3 0.79 NG/DL, TSH 60uIU/ml, Anti-TPO Ab 597IU/ML Started with Thyrox 25 mcg dose again from 21st of November. Please Advice me for the following My questions are: Is there any difference between thyronorm 25 mg and levothyroxine 25 mcg? Should I decrease my dose to 12. 5 mcg once my TSH get to normal rang? Is this condition likely temporary or long lasting? What treatment do you recommend? How long will I need to take medications? What side effects could I experience from the medications? How to monitor whether my treatment is working? Will I experience long-term complications from this condition? Do I need to change my diet? Is there a generic alternative to the medicine you're prescribing? Swelling on face and body is this will be permanent? When I will start feeling good as I am facing following issues once I start taking medicined=s? Swelling on body, Fast heart rate, feeling short breastfeeding unusually cold weakness, tiredness, sleep problems (insomnia) memory problems, feeling depressed or irritabledryness of your skin or hair, hair loss changes in your menstrual periodsAcidity, weight changes.

Prevention and Cure During Rainy Season

MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Gurgaon
Play video

Hello, friends, my name is Tarun Jhamb. I am MD physician, consultant and I have an experience of last 15 years for the medical practice and here we discuss today as the topic of care in the rainy seasons.

How to take care of health and personal tips during the rainy season or this is a monsoon season, as we know the monsoon season is good and we have got the different rainy seasons, rainy scenes and everybody likes to have a rain and it’s while covering from the summer so everybody likes this rain. But we know it’s a health issue also during the monsoon season as because of most of the humidity is there and because of the rain and lots of bacteria and infections they flare up in the air, in the dust and everywhere there is the water is kept with a lot of infections and mosquito breeding areas and all this leads to an infectious issues like diarrhea and the stomach issues and all the respiratory issues, upper respiratory tract infections as well as all the issues related to the nose, throat and sinus issues and skin issues. Because of the humidity and all these general issues can be taken care with preventive care which we will discuss and then there are the remedies for it OKAY.

How will we prevent this? When we are wet with the rain, when we are coming from outside we should have a shower and clean the body and make it dry before entering the AC area. And we should have the all light food avoiding all the spicy oily food and we should avoid all the outings in the rain and we should take care of our personal protection, devices whence we are going like umbrellas and the other the rain coats. And health wise we need to take care of avoiding all the outside food from the roadside because there are like Pani Puris and other things which are usually unhygienic. We should take care of all the packed foods and because of the rainy, our stomach gets upset. We can take a lot of citrus fruits which have the Vitamin C component and increases the immunity levels and it boosts our immune system and it’s good for the health. Lemon water and all these citrus fruits are important.

Rest of the general instructions from the respiratory point of view. We should use a handkerchief and proper hand wash technique should be learned and areas which are the full of the dust and pollution and all the roadside areas we should avoid it. And that’s the main purpose of avoiding sinus issues and the respiratory issues and rest of our common cold, fevers and viral fevers are very common like Malaria fever, dengue fever and we should have the clean environment around our surrounding at the home and avoid all the rainy water around our atmosphere. Because that is the breeding point of the vector borne and the mosquito is borne infections. So we should take care of all this infection. Proper health and proper diet and side by side morning evening walk is the must. And we should take proper breakfast, lunch, and dinner and take a lot of healthy foods and green salads is also good for the health.

As we know all these symptoms just to revise it all the cold congestion, upper respiratory tract infections, sinus problems than our stomach issues and the body ache problems. If any of you have the issues due to rainy seasons I am available to contactable with our Lybrate site with Dr. Tarun Jhamb and we got the clinic in the Sector-4 area, Gurgaon. It’s near Sector-4 HUDA market so I am approachable and I would like to have the service for you.

Common Ailments Which Can Be Treated With Homeopathy

Homeopath, Kolkata
Common Ailments Which Can Be Treated With Homeopathy

We all have used homeopathy as a cure, and we know from experience that it works. This complementary modality of healing works on the principle of ‘like kills like’. All homeopathic medicines are derived from natural sources and are then diluted and ‘potentized’ to make them safe.

Here are a few common ailments that respond very well to homoeopathic medicines:

  1. Common Cold- Allium Cepa (onion) which causes tearing in the eyes and dripping from the nose, is a frequent remedy for common cold and hay fever. It is very effective when there is a watery, and burning nasal discharge from the nose. Oscillococcinum, Bryonia, Belladonna, Arsenicum Album and Aconite are also excellent cures for influenza. Bryonia is especially useful in treating body aches that accompany fever.

  2. Shock and Trauma From Injury- Arnica (mountain daisy) is the best remedy for trauma due to injuries and is an excellent first aid. It also helps to reduce pain and speeds up the healing process.

  3. A Sore Throat- Aconite, Arsenicum Album and Belladonna are very good. Aconite helps during the onset of a sore throat while Belladonna is helpful in curing tonsillitis.

  4. Nerve Problems- Hypericum (St. John's wort) is the first medicine to consider for injuries to the nerves or to parts of the body rich with them, like the back. This medicine is especially good for treating shooting pains.

  5. Psychiatric Ailments- Ignatia (St. Ignatius bean) is most effective in treating acute grief, anxiety, and depression, especially due to loss of a loved one.

  6. Cramps- Magnesia phosphorica (phosphate of magnesia) is the most effective remedy for cramps, including menstrual cramps.

  7. Indigestion- Nux Vomica (poison nut), Aconite, Carbo Veg and Pulsatilla all treat indigestion. Nux Vomica is especially useful in relieving symptoms of flatulence, constipation/diarrhoea and heartburn. Carbo Veg is extremely useful for getting rid of gas after food.

Sprains-Rhus tox (poison ivy) is the medicine of choice for people suffering from sprains and strains. It’s especially useful when the person suffers from more pain when he starts moving after resting. It can also treat symptoms of arthritis and flu.

Remember to take these medicines in the 6th or 30th potency only. If you are suffering from minor pain or discomfort, you should take the medicine 3 times a day but if the discomfort is severe, you can take the medicine every 1 to 3 hours, tapering off later.

If you do not observe at least some improvement even after 24 hours of taking the medicine, it probably is the wrong one. Consider taking another medicine or better still, consult a homoeopathic doctor. It is also best if you treat yourself for non-threatening acute conditions only and go for professional care for chronic conditions.

After using lubricant gel xylocaine over vagina still I am getting pain while inserting .how to get rid of this pain.
