Ankle pain you can doing ice qube and you can do toe ankle excercise and wobbbler board excercise balancing excercise.

Madam, do get an ultra sound scan done. To evaluate both your kidneys and ovaries. If there is recurrence in stones they can present as pain in the loins spreading down towards your thighs.

Hi dear in your joint have less stability and you need to strengthen your muscles. Need to use crap bandage and immobilize for 2 days do --do proper icing twice in a day with duration of 15 min inform me after two days will give you further program how to straighten and what exercises you have to do take care.

I am 46 years old man and last 4 days I am suffering back pain I drink regularly now what should I do?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Since your history is only 4 days duration: my advice is: - to maintain proper posture while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you ( but avoid drinking when you have taken medication), also you can add a muscle relaxant for 5 days to relieve muscle spasm. - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home ( no exercises, only modalities initially, once your pain subsides, then we can start with gentle back strengthening ex) - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs for local application ( 3-4 times in a day) - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings and traveling on uneven surfaces especially on 2 wheelers take rest for 3-5 days so that pain and muscle spasm decreases. Studies have shown that fish oil can relieve tender joints and ease morning stiffness. It has also allowed some people to reduce the amount of conventional medication they take for RA. Servings of fish provide about one gram of omega-3 fatty acids per 3½ ounces of fish. If you choose to try fish oil supplements, talk to your doctor about a dosage. People with RA can often take a higher level of fish oil than is recommended for the general public, but there can be side effects. Higher doses of fish oil may interact with certain drugs, including those for high blood pressure. Increasing your intake of fiber from fruits, vegetables and whole grains may also help reduce inflammation. Studies show that adding fiber to the diet results in lower levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) in the blood; CRP is an indicator of inflammation.

After workout do you do mild stretching of calf muscles.? calf stretching should be done. after intense exercise one should do cool down activities. You can also apply Ice pack also.

This back pain is due to no back exercise. Due to this muscle get stiff. When suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start. In ayurved there is mentioned one procedure KATI BASTI .DO THIS FOR FIVE DAYS WITH MEDICATED OIL if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation. So consult ayurvedic doctor near you. You will definitely get good result.

For your age, it would be best if you get a TMT done to rule out any cardiac risk. But do understand that a negative TMT does not give 100% gaurantee that there are no significant blockages, the only 100% surety is via an angiography.

I got a ligament tear in my ankle around a year back. But it healed on its own. Now whenever I extend my ankle beyond a certain distance while playing it tears again. It had healed 3-4 times but it is not happening this time? What should I do?

if the ligament injury had been a complete tear then it wouldnt heal spontaneously and that would give rise to recurrent instability symptoms. if you have pain and a sense of giving way in the ankle then you would need a proper orthopaedic examination. you may be advised a course of physio or surgery depending on the examination findings and imaging results

I am feeling pain in my left knee from last 2 year. In ex-ray did not find anything. It pain when my leg turn like at the time of toilet. So can tell me what is exact problem in my leg or give suggesion for exercise

In x-ray details may not be visible, do not bother as your age is supportive in treatment 1- soak the absorbent cotton pad in maha vishgarbha tail and put these soaked pads and apply bandage or put kneecap (should not tight- purchase bit loose to accommodate pads) keep for 3-4 hours. 2- tablet sallaki 500 mg twice daily with no. 3 medicine 3- maharasnadi please kwath 15 ml with water twice after food 4- dashanga lepa take 10 gm mix in hot water and apply over knee joint at night- continue for three months please and report

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and I will suggest you to eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and take physical rest

Goodevening sir I just read your question what I would advice you upon is to change your pillow. Do use a slightly hard pillow. You could start with a few exercises for the neck. Slight gentle extension and bending of the neck. Your posture should also be checked. You try and stand straight without bending your neck fowrad. For your leg pain please do a hot and cold fermentation daily twice morning and evening. You could also elevate your leg for a few minutes daily. Do a few ankle toe movements so that your blood flow will increase.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.
