I am 19 years old female. I suffer from severe primary dysmenorrhea for which paracetamol was effective previously. I have severe nausea, vomiting and back ache with Meftal (Mefenamic acid). I referred to a doctor who prescribed me (Chlorzoxazone+paracetamol) tablets. First few times I responded to it effectively but now I suffer from severe lightheadedness, dizziness with it. Is it normal or should I change the therapy?

I have a pain in left side of left breast in last one month what can I do to cure this pain?
Pain in the breasts could be due to cyclical mastalgia, fibrocystic disease, hormonal changes due to OC pills or pregnancy, granulomatous mastitis, abscess, cysts and rarely cancer. Better to see a breast surgeon who would examine you, ask for an ultrasound with mammogram. The treatment would depend upon the cause. Most common cause is cyclical mastalgia due to fibrocystic changes, which usually resolve with time. Treatment may be given if severe pain.

I am 18 years old with pcos, taken femilon for one year to regularise periods. After stopping, I have not got periods for over two months now. Should I wait or should I continue with femilon. Is it safe to take femilon for many years regularise.

You need to exclude a pregnancy first. If negative then you should continue with femilon to maintain regular cycles.
