After 4 pegs of drink I just went to a pharmacy to check my blood pressure at 9 pm. It read 150/105. And I am 85 kg. Is my pressure normal at that time.

It was high. It also indicates that you need to take good care of yourself and be health conscious. Do the right things to avoid future stress. Begin with a preventive health check up with a doctor who can check your vitals and suggest some basic tests like ECG, CBC, ESR, blood sugar, urine routine, Renal profile, lipid profile etc. Please revert with all the details. (Go for annual health check up for the family to keep a check on the body ). Regarding your daily routine, a minor change in lifestyle can help you stay fit and energetic. Commit to exercising everyday for 30 mins (increase it to one hour once you start enjoying the energy and stamina boost that comes naturally after exercising ). Eat more. Healthy and natural diet (homemade food preferred with 2-3 servings of fruits and vegetables ). Avoid junk food, processed and packaged food and beverages (soda drinks) as they contain lots of salt, sugar,preservatives etc which is not good for health. Avoid or limit alcohol. Sleep well (6-8 hrs of sleep will relax you and help in controlling the BP ). Learn Yoga from an expert to gain back health and fitness.

Hello, Take Schwabe’s Alpha-CF and Biocombination-11, both after every 2 hourly for 4 days. Management: -Sponging or bathing with tepid water. The use of a fan or air conditioning may somewhat reduce the temperature and increase comfort. You are low weight increase weight 50 to 55 kg. Change food habites. Addin your daily food calcium, vitamines, minirales, proteins, milk end milk products. Massaje body oil in night. Bath with neem soap.

I have an issue with my left knee. There is a general pain. It feels rough/creaky. I also feel it clicks in a certain way when i extend my left leg. Is it a topic of concern ? what kind of diagnosis should i look for ?

You will need to get and X ray of the knee AP and lateral views to see if ur developing some arthritis of the knee. Moreover get ur Vitamin D levels and serum uric acid levels( blood tests) which could throw some light on the possible causes of pain.

Dear lybrate user. Why are you so much worried about nocturnal emission (night fall, wet dreams). A nocturnal emission or wet dream is a spontaneous orgasm during sleep that includes ejaculation for a male, or vaginal wetness or an orgasm (or both) for a female. Nocturnal emissions are most common during adolescence and early young adult years, but they may happen any time after puberty. Wet dreams are a normal part of growing up. There's nothing you can do to control or stop wet dreams.Even if you have a lot of wet dreams it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. Some guys have wet dreams a few times a week. Others may only have a couple of wet dreams during their entire life. Once you start releasing sperm by masturbating or having sex with a partner, you may have fewer wet dreams. Therefore, please do not worry or get anxious about night fall. They are natural. I suggest online psycho education. Take care.

•Try to keep your consumption of saturated fats to a minimum. •Aim to replace saturated fats, with moderate amounts of ‘good’ fats also known as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. •Grill, steam, boil and bake foods instead of frying and roasting and try to take low sodium diet-------------- •Eat plenty of fibre-rich foods. •Enjoy healthy snacks such as fruit, nuts and seeds, olives etc. •Drink plenty of water daily------------------- •Stay physically active. At least 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise on five or more days of the week. •Avoid smoking. •Try and manage your stress levels. DIET I. Juice diet for 5 days. Use warm water enema daily during this period. II. All-fruit diet for further 5 days, with three meals a day at five-hourly intervals. III. Thereafter, adopt the following diet: - 1. Early Morning: A glass of lukewarm water mixed with the juice of half a lime. 2. Breakfast: Fruits and skimmed milk. 3. Mid-morning: Coconut water. 4. Lunch: Steamed vegetables, whole-wheat wheat tortilla or brown rice and a glass of buttermilk. 5. Mid-afternoon: A glass of carrot juice or orange juice. 6. Dinner: Salad of raw vegetables, green gram sprouts and vegetable soup. AVOID: Meats, sugar, white flour, tea, coffee, condiments, pickles fried foods, and products made from sugar and white flour. Important: Restrict the intake of salt and use liberally garlic and indian gooseberry.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.
