Sir, I was bitten by a dog at the age of 3 yrs. The surgery left deep scars/Stitch marks over my face.(At lower left corner of upper lip). I am nearly 20 years old and now I am starting to feel a little bit discriminated. Please help me, should I go for a surgery? Or there is any other way. I may not get rid of these scars in one shot but is there any way to help ease their deep appearance on my face.

If it's a scar then no medicine can help. Take a surgeons opinion. Not only that take a second opinion (may be cosmetic surgeon) and take an informed decision based on health status and cost of the procedures.

Take sanjeevani ras vati twice a day with warm water. Take pranacharya jwar nigraha capsule and punarnavadi mandoor 1-1 twice a day with warm water. Avoid salt as more as possible. Drink luke warm water. Wipe your body with clean towel....

Hello, Homeopathic remedies for asthma are very effective and can cure asthma permanently . Sygzium jambolanum tincture 3 drops in a small cup of water twice in day continue n eat overnight soaked lady's finger early morning, you ll see the difference. Try avoiding rice at night. If you have too much tiredness take phosphoric acid 200 4pills 4 days 4 times only. And revert back.

Upto 101 temp you may go with only cold water sponging on head and chest region to control temprature is better and harmless option to reduce temprature. Avoid heavy food. Take only mung dal soup, chicken or mutton soup, daal -rice, or khichadi only as diet which can be added ginger in it. Unsafe use of paracetamol and antibiotics harmful for liver and other organs of body.

All the liquid diet contain water ,if you can fulfill the requirement of daily need of your water you can have liquid diet but, I recommend one should water along with all kind of food water is natural and zero calorie.

Dear lybrate user, this seems like a viral infection. Take one tablet of paracetamol 500 mg 3-4 times a day for the body pain and fever. For your blocked nose, take steam inhalation 3-4 times a day (10-15 min session); for the cough please do warm salt water gargles in the morning and night. Alternately, you could take any over the counter cold cough preparation. Try not smoking (or atleast reduce) to ease your throat. In case you do not deel better in 3 days or the fever increases, please consult a doctor as certain tests might need to be done before he/ she initiates any antibiotics and other treatment. Take care!

The Healthiest and Unhealthiest Breakfast Foods

Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day, no matter which culture you belong to. The age old saying goes that you should have breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. Let's look at some of the menu items, which are not considered ideal for breakfast menus on a regular basis along with a few others which are.

Some of the unhealthiest breakfast foods:

  1. Chole bhatture or oily pooris: These are favorite items within Indian breakfast menus. However, they are full of oil and saturated fats. Apart from contributing to diabetes and blood pressure, bloating, acidity, and heartburn are also common side effects.
  2. Pakoras, samosas or kachoris: Common items which are included in many breakfast and snack menus, these oily fries are major contributors to bad cholesterol, reduce good cholesterol and is are major contributors to obesity.
  3. Sugary cereals: While plain corn flakes are good, sugary cereals have processed sugar and are a no-no for breakfast items as they could cause elevated blood glucose levels and thus cause a host of problems.
  4. Medu vada: While having a medu vada once or twice is alright, having it as a daily breakfast item will add a lot of oil to your diet and so, should be avoided.
  5. Bakery items: Many bakery items such as doughnut, Tiffin cakes, and sweet breads usually tend to have a lot of processed sugar, refined flour and additives which can be harmful to your health.

Some healthy breakfast foods:

  1. Idli: This is a staple breakfast item in southern India and is very healthy as it is prepared by steaming rice mixes. However, reduce spicy chutneys or side dishes while consuming idlis as they can be quite bad for health.
  2. Upma: Another export of the south, upma is now loved all over India and the world. Made with suji or rawa and very little oil, this is a great and filling breakfast alternative.
  3. Poha or Chivra pulao: Made from flattened rice flakes, poha, also known as chivda pulao, is a great healthy alternative and should be incorporated in breakfast diets.
  4. Indian veg sandwiches: As long as the bread is whole wheat, this is a very healthy option as it is usually made with vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers and potatoes and also has chutney as the dressing.
  5. Dosa: Another great option from southern India, this is a great breakfast food if the sambar and accompanying dishes are cooked in less oil and have fewer spices.
  6. Khakra: This dish which comes from Gujarat is also a great breakfast item and can also become a low calorie snack for cravings in between meals.
