I have small tumors on my hand and my body but I do not feel pain from them. I have earlier consulted a doctor, they said its not a cancer tumor but caused from fat from the blood. And gave me some medication. Can you please tell me exactly what it is and how do I treat it.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, these are Lipomas.A lipoma is a growth of fat cells in a thin, fibrous capsule usually found just below the skin. Lipomas aren't cancer and don't turn into cancer. They are found most often on the torso, neck, upper thighs, upper arms, and armpits, but they can occur almost anywhere in the body. One or more lipomas may be present at the same time. You can take Homoeopathic treatment for Lipoma , this is a long term treatment and it depends upon the totality of symptoms of individual person. Thanks.

Avoid having too many tests. Drs don't understand these measurements very well. It will only cause meaningless anxiety, like discovering ghosts in your house, or unfavorable prospects in your horoscope. If you wish to be healthy, you need to be scientific, not a believer in everything you are told. Please discuss on phone if you desire specific instructions for healthy a life. Best wishes.

I have red eyes and stomach pain or some other problems so what can I do please tell me because so so pain.
Eye redness is most often due to swollen or dilated blood vessels. This makes the surface of the eye look red. There are many causes of a red eye or eyes like infection, allergy. Foreign body in eyes. Some are medical emergencies and some are a cause for concern, but not an emergency. Others are nothing to worry about. Consult your local eye specilist to see what is the cause.

What Causes Infertility in Men?

What Causes Infertility in Men?

Both women and men suffer from infertility troubles. There are a host of causes that may lead to infertility in men such as lifestyle choices and obesity. Male infertility is characterized by irregular sperm function or reduced sperm count. Infertility has emerged as a common problem as a result of the modern day lifestyle. Extremely hectic schedules, stress, burnout, depression, unhealthy diets; all of these can contribute to fertility issues.

The various reasons for infertility in men are:

  1. If you are overweight, then it is time to lose those extra kilos. Obesity leads to a number of health problems, one of them being erectile dysfunction.
  2. Various hormonal problems such as complications of the hypothalamus, pituitary and adrenal glands may lead to low testosterone levels in the body.
  3. Various infections such as inflammation of the testicles and epididymis that causes blockage of the tubes carrying the sperm can be a cause.
  4. Various medications such as using anabolic steroids, antifungal medications and chemotherapy may hamper production of the sperm and thus hit fertility.
  5. Both alcohol and cigarettes may cause problems in sperm production, and cause erectile dysfunction. Excessive drinking may lead to complications in the liver resulting in infertility.

The reasons of infertility may range from medical causes to lifestyle choices; some of the causes may be related to the environment. A common cause of infertility is due to problems with transportation of the sperm. These are mainly due to blockages in the tubes that carry the sperm.

Symptoms of infertility in men are:

  1. You may experience low libido
  2. Your sperm count may be low
  3. You may experience lumps or swellings in the testicles
  4. Chromosomal complications such as reduced body hair
  5. You may have chronic respiratory problems

I have type 1 diabetes past 19 years and taking huminsulin 30/70 insulin of 80 units daily but still not controlling ...
Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. For T1 DM only effective drug is Insulin. No other drug is used or recommended. There is a mention of eltroxin tablet in the medicines being taken, that means you also have hypothyroidism. If that is not well controlled weight can go up. You are overweight with a BMI of 28.33 kgs/M2. Please check TSH value, it has to be maintained <3 mU/L for being free from symptoms of hypothyroidism. If that is properly controlled then weight reduction can be possible. Thanks.

The best timings and ways to study depends entirely upon you. At least 6 hours of sleep is necessary for proper functioning of the brain so if you deprive yourself of too much sleep then your studies will be affected even though you study a lot of time. Early morning from 6 to 8 am is a very good time for studies since there will be minimal distractions. If you have any more problems to discuss or have any doubts about your exams you can contact me again. Take care.
