I am taking why protein, omega 3, multivitamins for bodybuilding. So I want to ask that there are any harm or side effects of taking these or not? Ty.

Do not depend on artificial supplements. Drink cow's milk three times in a week, about two hours after dinner strictly for at least six months to get required vitamins, proteins which is present in the cow's milk in most easily absorbable way for your body.

I am 25 years old men as i am suffering from hands shaking how can I overcome from this problem ?

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Patna
Dear shaking of hand may be due to anxiety or excessive alcohol use or thyroid disorder. Get tsh, t3, t4 done, stop alcohol if abusing. If you feel yourself worried always, can not relax, have dry mouth, palpitation, excessive sweating, churning sensation in stomach, dizziness etc then you may be suffering from anxiety. Treatment of anxiety with medicines may also cure this shaking of hands.

MBBS

Dear lybrateuser, -You should limit your intake of tea to 1-2 cups per day ,if you want to loose weight have 2-3 cups of green tea as it doesn't have milk & sugar & hence has much less calories as compared to normal tea. -have a glass of low fat(1%) milk in the morning -coffee you can have a cup with less milk & sugar .

Why sugar remains in blood when it is available to body for use. Apart from medicines what are alternatives for proper utilization of sugar.

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology
Endocrinologist, Hubli-Dharwad
Mr. Lybrate-user, it is the blood which carries glucose to all the tissues and cells, so glucose has to be there in it. Our brain needs 5 grams of glucose every minute, so blood has to carry it there, otherwise how will it reach? all the tissues need glucose for producing energy, so blood ahs to carry it and supply. If not then a person feels week. That is what happens in hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level). If bllod sugar goes below 50 mg /100 ml, some persons will feel giddy and further lower levels will cause unconsciousness.

I am feeling shy to ask. My penis is bent .I don't know whom to consult and what to do. With out surgery is there a route. Normally it cannot be seen. When size increases it can be seen clearly bending in semi circular shape.

MBBS
General Physician, Cuttack
1.Little bit of bending to one side upto 25 degree is considered normal. So don't worry 2. If the bending is more and it is associated with painful erection, it is due to thickening of fibrous tissue on one side as in Peyronie's disease and may need surgery. 3.you may consult urologist for advice.

. There may not be quick fix solutions. Try regularity in timing of meals. Consume more of high fibre containing foods, leafy vegetables, fruits preferably not peeled. Have a morning walk and light physical exercise. Intermittently try sat isabgul powder at bedtime (soaked in water for an hour or so at bedtime or liquid paraffin containing medicine 1- 2 teaspoon.
