Do some exercises of eyeball like rotating it right left up down. Look at a long distance for 2-3 minutes it will relax your eyes. Get yourself examined by an eye specialist. It may help.

Dear user. I can understand. In men, testosterone plays a key role in the development of male reproductive tissues, such as the testis and prostate, as well as promoting secondary sexual characteristics like increased muscle, bone mass, and the growth of body hair. Side effects include liver damage, unsafe cholesterol levels, and heart and circulatory problems. Testosterone abuse may affect the prostate and cause cancer, as well. So do not overuse the testosterone tablets. Take care.

Mr. Lybrate-user, it appears that present treatment of diabetes is not adequate. It needs to be upgraded. Some additional drugs may be required along with that there needs to be a properly planned diet that provides exact calories based on ideal body weight and extent of daily exercise as well as blood sugar level. Thanks.

My daughter in us suffering from bipolar disorder with rush of imaginary thoughts. She is healthy child and the problem arose after delivery in us. Why the problem has come. She is taking tablets and she is fine with medication.

DPM, Msc Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Muzaffarpur
Sometimes, after delivery some females experience emotional blackout. More chances of development of psychiatric disorders are in those who are away from their families/ husband/ immigrants/ smokers/ previous history of any psychiatric disorders. It is sometimes seen that some ladies suffer from post partum depression, which not if properly dealt with may turn into bipolar disorder or major depressive disorder. It is fine that she is good on medications, but be in touch with her and do not let her feel that she is far away from home. Video calls, telephone calls are good way of two way communication. She should be keeping her busy in baby, household job and her work if she is working lady. She should try to stay stressfree by avoiding unnecessary stress and strain, particularly if she is working.

Hi, your issues/ symptoms as you describe point towards some mineral/ vitamin deficiency unless there is some other issue that requires to be clinically examined/ investigated. I would advise you to consult a general physician in person who can discuss with you and advise tests suitably to see if you are deficient in something, especially need to check your calcium & vitamin d levels. At the same time, ensure that you have balanced diet and a streamlined lifestyle. Exercise/ walk daily in fresh air for about 30 minutes and relax/ de-stress regularly. Exposure to early morning sun rays for 5 to 10 minutes daily helps replenish the vitamin d levels. In case you are a student still, set realistic goals and give your best while being focussed on your present. Its extremely important that you relax/ de-stress intermittently so that you stay engaged and do not get fatigued. It is advisable to avoid oily and fried stuff. Rather, consume more of fresh fruits & vegetables and stay hydrated. Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water daily. Cheese, yogurt, fish, fortified orange juice, soybeans, whole grain cereals, leafy greens are a few food items that you can include in your menu. Hope this helps. You may still connect with me for a detailed discussion should you require. All the very best. Sincerely

I have taken first aid class at our company. I would like know the correct first aid for heart attack patients.

PGD IN ULTRAASONOGRAPHY, Non invasive cardiology course, MD - Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Narnaul
I have taken first aid class at our company. I would like know the correct first aid for heart attack patients.
If a person is having chest pain, even if there’s a chance that he might not be suffering from a heart attack, he deserves the benefit of doubt. The first step is to help the patient relax. Loosen their clothes and open the windows. Next pop a tablet of aspirin into their mouth. Don’t give it to them with water. Ask them to chew it instead. If that’s not possible crush the tablet in a little water and give it to them. Another medicine you can use is sorbitrate. Place the tablet under the patient’s tongue. You can give up to three sorbitrates in five minutes. Both aspirin and sorbitrate have anti-coagulant properties and help dissolve blood clots. However DO NOT GIVE sorbitrate to people who have low blood pressure or/and are sweating profusely.’ Apart from that, you shouldn’t let them lie down flat. Ask them to either recline on a sofa or sit upright. Another thing you can do is ask them to cough out. This helps force air into their lungs. Also, a heart attack victim should be taken to the hospital as soon as possible — at least within one hour (also known as the ‘golden hour’). Since, during a heart attack, a person’s heart stops pumping blood it can damage the person’s organs. Like a stroke, a heart attack has a golden period during which recovery is faster. Quick tips for heart attack patients Never neglect a person with chest pain Make the person sit in a slightly reclined position Move the person to a more ventilated area Administer aspirin or sorbitrate If person is sweating profusely or pulse is low do not administer sorbitrate Ask the person to cough Seek immediate medical attention A person suffering from a heart attack should receive medical care within one hour.

I just don't enjoy the things I used to, and I don't feel much like visiting friends or family. Is this part of aging?

MBBS
General Physician, Allahabad
Ageing does not mean loss of interest with friends and environment it is your personal backwardness nature and psychological behavioural disturbance. For energizing your nature you need a zindadil friend of yours who can comment and criticise you. Don't be depressed and feel you are young only feeling makes one older.
