Hi, I had a normal delivery in January. I also got some stitches. After 3 months I had some problem with the stitches. I went to the doctor and she said that I have got keloid on the stitches. Please help me how can I cure them?

I am very confident in saying that keloids can be effectively treated by homoeopathic medicines. There are many medicines like Graphites, silicea, thuja, thiosinaminum, etc. Which are very good. But to prescribe the best out of them more details are required. About you. My advise is to go for detailed consultation. But still you may take Thuja 30 1 dose every week and Thiosinaminum 1x tds for 15 days. And report for next treatment.

Is it really advised to have water while having meal or one should take a hour long break after meal and thn have a glass of water?

Better to avoid taking water during meal as it can cause indigestion but you can take a sip of water during meal after 1 hour you can take sufficient water.

Hey, I am 18 years old. I am very shy when surrounded by people. I get really angry at my mother. I always had this hatred towards her. Even when I was a kid. At times I am fine with her but at other times I feel a strong hatred towards her. Recently I was playing with her, well I was angry. Really angry. I was not myself. You need help immediately before this turns out to become ugly. There is obviously some reason from childhood that has triggered this feeling and needs investigation and resolution. At your age, this may be compounded with hormonal productions, which will tend to spurt in quantity and lead to complications. During this time there will be a spurt in the production of the male sex hormone, testosterone, which has a duration of two years. Due to this chemical alone, there are three identified features that present itself over which you have little or no control: you will be sexually active, aggressive and rebellious, and you will have acne and pimple problems. Then if you has unresolved childhood issues, like I think you have, they will compound the situation and fuel uncontrolled behavior. If you are losing self-control you are likely to have all fo these symptoms and need professional help right away. You can discuss this with your parents and get their help, how much ever you hate doing this.

Hi doctor. Is lactogen safe for new born babies. My baby weight was 4.25 kg while delivery. Now it's 4 kg. My feeding is not sufficient for him it seems. So if it cries in hungry, we give lactogen often. Is it safe or it has side effects?

Babies tend to loose about 10% of their birth weight in 5-7 days which is soon regained. If child is still loosing weight then you may have to supplement the feeds. Though lactogen is safe it's not best food for babies. Best is breast feeding only. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy diet, relax and keep yourself active and mobile. All these things help on increasing milk outflow. And of course breast feed the baby every 2 hrs. Absolute no to bottle feeding. Add on feed should be given with katori spoon.

Best method is to use a good scrub to lighten them and ultimately remove them. Use a mix of gram flour, besan, milk and olive oil and scrub your body with it. Apply moituriuser or oil after that.

You need to have diet plan based on your BMI & activities. Whatever we eat is metabolised by the body for the energy needed to do daily work and the excess is stored as fat. Abdomen is the first place to gain weight and last to disappear. In brief, Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 KMs and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise & dieting to take just as mush food as needed for your activities. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. Mr. lybrate-user, Looking at the data presented, present blood glucose levels look good, but HbA1c% shows that long term control is not good. So it difficult to advise whether dose had to be increased or maintained. One has to look at blood glucose levels 'over a number of days. Since HbA1c% is high, dose of the drug used can not be reduced. Thanks.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

My husband got hurt jst below his knee (on his right leg), around 3 months bck. He got hurt by the sharp edge of a table. And even till today he has lot of pain. But at the look of it, thrs no swelling as such, but when we feel the painful area, it pains and also feels like a bump. Tried applying all kinds of pain relieving sprays, but its of no use. Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting Contrast bath- Fill two buckets/ tubs with Very Hot Water and Very Cold water. Immerse your legs into the water for 3 minutes and then switch to cold water for 1minute. Repeat this 3 times once a day.

Hello lybrate-user. Relax n do not worry. Its a part of hair cycle. Ensure you have healthy food habits, minimum 12 glasses of water, early sleeping time n regular activity levels of the body. Please rinse your hair with mild sgampoo after diluting the shampoo with water. Keep your hair oil free n dirt free for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, pls apply the mixture of Almond oil, Keratex Oil, Coconut oil and evion capsule extract on your scalp n evenly on your hair strands. Rinse regularly.
