Hello nay you can start physiotherapy treatment for knee pain. Meanwhile take few precautions. Take hot water fomentation or if there is swealing in knee apply cold pack for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Interval. Do not ignore your knee pain and do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.

In all probability bone malunion or deformity must be there. You may consult in a govt. District hospital orthopedic surgeon at the hospital, he may do the management under guidance of Poor's treatment mandatory in govt hospitals under some rules for benefits scheme for poor and destitute. Even charity hospital if available can be helpful. Walking aids, etc,braces ,are provided free of cost by voluntary association of handicaps assistance, which a govt doctor in your city would guide you to. It maybe possible for him to do necessary corrections also to your limb injuries with cast, dressings,medications free of cost available there.

Hi * stop running completely or decrease your training. *apply ice to reduce inflammation. *gently stretch your achilles and your calves. *consider cross-training for a while swim, run in the pool or ride a bike. *when you return to running, increase your mileage slowly, no more than 10 percent weekly. *make sure you wear the correct running shoes do reply for detailed treatment plan. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back. This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello lybrate user, leg pain after running is common due to spasm in the leg muscles known as tibialis anterior which functions to pull the foot towards your body during walking, running. When a person runs or exerts an unaccustomed stress there occurs production of lactic acid in the muscle which is quite painful. Relief by: rest ice application stretching exercises will help a lot god bless you.

Hello. Weakness can be due to deficiency. May be you are not taking enough calories or protein or vitamins in diet. Eat healthy diet including all green leafy veges, fresh fruits, protein rich diet, milk and milk products, nuts, lots of water, soya food. For pain take homoeopathic medicine:- bryonia alba 30 (5 drops three times a day one hr after meal) take it and feed me back. Keep in touch for any othet help.

1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. This will give you relief in mild to moderate cases. Hello, sounds you give excessive undue stress/load on your spine by sitting for a prolonged time while studying. First of all avoid long time sitting without back support. Second, keep moving after every ten - twenty minutes like a gentle brisk walk in your room will suffice. Never sleep on your stomach instead prefer sleeping on your side. Apply hot pack on your pack for 20 min twice daily. And do gentle leg raising exercise one at a time at 60 degree with heep and knee straight by lying on your back. Repeat ten times on both legs. Twice daily. Have lots of water, prefer lime water early morning. Hope it helps.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually decision in a knee depends upon a thorough clinical examination for all structures and then correlating findings with mri of affected knee. My take on this is: I think you should go for a diagnostic arthroscopy and then proceed. This will help in 2 ways, first we can see all structures inside ot with our own eyes and see for complete tears and laxity. Complete acl tear ar your age will require a reconstruction arthroscopically, lateral meniscus can be balanced and managed. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Since you are a runner, shin pain may be because of a tiny break in the bone of your leg. This is called stress fracture. It is due to repeated stress on your bone due to the running. In order to confirm an xray has to be done. The treatment usually involves rest and allow the bone to heal. Vit D and calcium might not help a great deal in the healing.

You require complete rest with foot elevation (2-3 pillows underneath the affected foot while sleeping) to avoid swelling. Application of ice at the swelling site. Keep moving all toes and some amount of ankle movement in pain free range (up and down). After 15 days consult a local physio who would teach you few strengthening exercises. Take care.
