frequent/ continuous sneezing may be because of many reasons like: 1. Any ent problem like dns polyp sinusitis 2. Low immunity 3. Allergic condition like allergy to dust/mite/pollen etc so you need to consult ENT doctor for proper examination and further management. I have defects in my eye with power -4.5 diopter. Is lasik a best method for this.

FPRS, DNB Ophtalmology
Ophthalmologist, Pune
I have defects in my eye with power -4.5 diopter. Is lasik a best method for this.
Yes you can plan lasik. Lasik is a simple laser procedure which changes the shape of the cornea so that the light rays fall on the retina properly. It is a painless procedure. It is a day care procedure does not require any injections, does not require admission, you can simply resume your duties in 2 days. Cost varies from centre to centre. Side effects are usually limited to dryness of eyes for few months. We can do lasik anytime after age of 18 years. You need to undergo proper prelasik checkup to decide whether lasik is safe for you or not.

Damiaplant is a homoeopathic medicine for improving sexual power in both but especially in males. Its a german company product with combination of homoeopathic medicines. The effectiveness of that medicine is not still completely proved and it's not correct way to treat the patient. Associated symptoms are also important in guiding the selection of correct homoeopathic medicine

Diet for EYESIGHT Lutein and zeaxanthin are both important nutrients for eye health,6 as both of them are found in high concentrations in your macula—the small central part of your retina responsible for detailed central vision. More specifically, lutein is also found in your macular pigment – known for helping to protect your central vision and aid in blue light absorption—and zeaxanthin is found in your retina.Estimated daily dose of lutein is 10 mg per day, and at 2 mg/day for zeaxanthin. Both lutein and zeaxanthin are primarily found in green leafy vegetables, although zeaxanthin is far scarcer than lutein. Kale and spinach are two of the most lutein-rich foods, but you'll also find it in carrots, squash, and other orange and yellow fruits and vegetables. Both lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids called xanthophylls, which give plants and vegetables their yellow-orange color, and the name "lutein" comes from the Latin word "luteus," which means "yellow." If you remember this, it may help you pick out vegetables that are likely to contain higher amounts of these two nutrients. Egg yolk is another source of both lutein and zeaxanthin that is well absorbed by your body Most of the dark green leafy vegetables, previously recommended for a higher intake of lutein and zeaxanthin, have 15-47 percent of lutein, but a very low content (0-3 percent) of zeaxanthin. study shows that fruits and vegetables of various colors can be consumed to increase dietary intake of lutein and zeaxanthi It is also important to note that lutein is an oil-soluble nutrient, so if you eat the vegetables without some oil or butter your body can't absorb the lutein. Adding a little bit of healthy fat, such as olive oil, coconut oil, or raw organic butter, will maximize your lutein absorption. Lutein content in food Food Mg / serving Orange ( Raw) 0.2/1 large Egg 0.2/1 large Spinach (cooked) 20.4 / 1 cup Papaya(Raw) 0.3/1 large Turnip greens (cooked) 12.2 / 1 cup Green peas (cooked) 4.1 / 1 cup Spinach (raw) 3.7 / 1 cup Corn (cooked) 1.5 / 1 cup Broccoli (raw) 1.3 / 1 cup Broccoli (cooked) 0.8 / 1/2 cup Green beans (cooked) 0.9 / 1 cup

Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularly if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These r few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which wd increases your eyesight. You can go for contact lens or refractive surgeries but before that you have to undergo detailed refraction and corneal examination. If you satisfy d criteria you can go fore refractive surgery.

Hello. I think you have allergic conjunctivitis. 1. Eye allergies, called allergic conjunctivitis, are a common condition that occurs when the eyes react to something that irritates them (called an allergen). 2. The eyes produce a substance called histamine to fight off the allergen. As a result, the eyelids and conjunctiva (the thin, filmy membrane that covers the inside of your eyelids) become red, swollen and itchy, with tearing and burning. The key to treating eye allergies is a. Avoid or limit contact with the substance causing the problem. B. Avoid rubbing eyes instead do cold compresses. Use antiallergic eyedrop along with lubricating eyedrop. This will help you I am very sorry dear to say that there is no medicine that can cure allergy. Only way is to stay away from all those things that you are allergic to.

Hi.What is the best treatment for lazy eye in 8yrs child apart from wearing patch

MBBS, MS - Ophthalmology
Ophthalmologist, Delhi
Using patches seems to be too tedious for parents and difficult for the child too. But if done aggressively and properly, is best way to improve vision in the lazy eye. Its like limb with reduced power. Only way to improve its movement is to use it aggressively (as done by physiotherapy).

Hello. Amblypoia is better known as" lazy eye" it occurs due to improper stimulus received by one eye in comparison to the other. There are various causes for amblyopia but by far the commonest cause is a significant difference in the refractive error between the two eyes. The treatment for amblyopia tends to be effective only if done upto 12-14 years of age. Treatment done at later stages tends to be less effective/ ineffective. This condition does not worsen usually but likewise, nor does it cure. I am sorry for the disappointment. Take care-regards.

Soft contact lenses are the best. Use monthly disposables. I would suggest you use lenses from reputed brands like Cooper vision/ Bausch and Lomb/ Alcon etc. Maintaining lenses and cleaning them regularlyis very important.
