If she use lubic gel Then any problem with her pregnancy? And In lubic gel vagina can I intercourse normally?

MD - General Medicine
Sexologist, Delhi
There are a variety of reasons why some women may require lubricants. These are usually jelly like substances that create some amount of moisture in the vagina so that there is an easy passage of the penis during intercourse. There are many women who suffer from vaginal dryness. This may happen due to stress, performance pressure with a new partner, or due to hormonal changes and menopause as well. Also, this may be a side effect of other kinds of conditions and medication. Further, conditions like vaginismus where the vagina goes into involuntary spasms and blocks the entry of a penis, may also require the use of a lubricant so that the male sexual organ can enter more easily. One will need to go to a doctor before choosing the lubricant so that tests and a proper diagnosis can take place. Also, the doctor will be able to prescribe the right kind of lubricant. However, one can also choose from an array of over the counter lubricants.

Hiii doctor I want to ask you that is groundnut n radish beneficial for 7.5 months pregnant lady.
Groundnuts and Radish are a must during pregnancy Benefitss of Groundnutss during pregnancy • Groundnuts are rich vitamins and contain at least 13 different types of vitamins that include Vitamin A, B, C and E. along with this, groundnuts are also rich in 26 essential minerals like calcium, iron, zinc, boron, etc. These help in brain function and development and also help to maintain strong bones. • It is recommended that growing children, expecting women and nursing mothers consume roasted groundnuts with jaggery and goat’s milk. It is said to provide resistance and immunity against dangerous infections like hepatitis and tuberculosis. • Groundnuts are rich in anti-oxidants and a chemical called resveratrol. These help in reducing the risk of contracting cardiovascular diseases, cancer risk and also help in anti-ageing, thus, keeping the body young and fit. • They are composed of adequate levels of mono-unsaturated fatty acids especially oleic acid which helps to lower the LDL or "bad cholesterol" and increases HDL or "good cholesterol” level in the blood. This in return prevents coronary artery disease and strokes by taking care of the healthy blood lipid profile. • Groundnuts contain amino acids and are a good source of dietary protein, which is essential for growth and development. • Peanuts have high content of poly-phenolic antioxidants, primarily p-coumaric acid which reduces the risk of stomach cancer by preventing the formation of carcinogenic nitrosamines in the stomach. • Boiling the peanuts for consumption is known to enhance the antioxidant concentration, such as biochanin-A and genistein. • Groundnuts are packed with B-complex groups of vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B-6, and folates, which contribute towards brain health and stimulate blood flow to the brain. • It is said that a handful of groundnuts per day, offers enough levels of phenolic anti-oxidants, minerals, vitamins, and protein recommended by doctors. • Peanuts contain dietary fiber which enhances digestion Benefits of Radish during Pregnancy Just a single serving of radishes a day can provide your body many important nutrients your developing baby needs. Radish is a rich source of calcium. Calcium is an important nutrient you need to have during pregnancy as it aids the development of the baby’s bones and muscles.Radishes are a storehouse of folic acid, which is a vital nutrient for pregnant women. Adequate folic acid levels in the body protect your baby against any birth defects. In addition to that, radishes also contain potassium, iron and vitamin C, which can be extremely beneficial for an expecting mom.

PCOS - Why You Must Opt For A Homeopathic Treatment?

BHMS, PPHC, B.Sc

PCOS - Why You Must Opt For A Homeopathic Treatment?

PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome is a hormonal disorder that is very common among women, in their reproductive age. It is the condition in which cysts are formed in the ovary of the affected woman and/or the levels of the male hormone called androgen increases in her body.

As a result of these, she faces a variety of symptoms like late or no periods, heavy menstrual bleeding, the growth of facial hair, unintended weight gain, acne and pain in the pelvic region. It is also associated with problems related to conception and pregnancy in more complex conditions.

While the complete cure of PCOS is a time-consuming process since it demands thorough observation regarding the change of symptoms in the patient over a period of time; and the course of treatment follows these observations.

Although PCOS and its symptoms can be treated using conventional drugs, use of homeopathic medications is better to treat this condition for the following reasons.

Treatment addressing the root-cause

Using homeopathy for PCOS is a good idea because it offers permanent treatment for the condition. Homeopathy treats and cures the root cause of the condition rather than focussing on the external factors that cause the disease. Therefore, the treatment offered by homeopathy is more reliable. For example, the medicines prescribed for an interrupted period is different from the medicines prescribed for profuse bleeding.

No side effects

Homeopathic treatment is based on the belief that the human body was meant to remain disease free always. So it never tries to make use of drugs that can disturb the body's ability to function naturally. All that homeopathic medications do is to restore the vitality of the body so that it can find its way out of the disease all by itself. This kind of a treatment ensures that there are no side-effects whatsoever of homeopathic medicines. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a homeopath.

Pregnancy can occur only one day of cycle that is ovulation day so unprotected sex around that day only important. As only one day in month nature should be given 12-24 trials (12 to 24 months) before couple need any active management by Gynecologist or infertility specialist. However as she has delayed period so meet now.
