To increase your digestion power and follow these methods : • Take one teaspoon of ajwain seeds ( carom )and 1/2 teaspoon of Kali mirch( black pepper), grind it and make powder of it add 1/3 rd of teaspoon of this in your food you eat . • Take pudina ( mint) and coriander leaves add 1/2 onion grind it and eat one teaspoon of it daily 2 times in a day . Very rightly said Mr. Lybrate-user after prolonged usage of one gets all the above mentioned problems remedy is simple changes in working style as we can't change our schedule n job keep laptop at eye level sit straight while working blink frequently take breaks in between n don't work at computer at a stretch for more than half an hour close your eyes in between to relax your muscles. I am 36 years male. When I feel hungry, I feel weak and I feel light headed and become absent minded. It happens before taking lunch and afternoon around 5pm to 6.30 pm. I take breakfast at around 8.30 am. Its a light breakfast with 1-2 roti and sabji. For office I have to travel around 1.45 hrs as I am in mumbai now. What may be the cause of my weakness?

Hye. Your weakness problem is because you are not eating enough. You need to eat small frequent meals when the body needs to ensure energy levels. Long gaps in between meals are making your blood sugar levels drop causing you to feel dizzy and hungry. So eat smaller but more frequent meals. Never travel empty stomach or stay hungry for too long after a long travel or heavy activity.

Some very common causes of pain in abdomen are worm infestation, acidity, stones in gall bladder/ kidney, indigestion, intestine/ urinary infection etc. Persistent pain needs physical check up & certain baseline investigations. Abdominal sonography is done to diagnose many of these problems. Consult some good physicin/ gestroenterologist in your area. To relieve acidity eat small, frequent meals (4-5 times a day), avoid spicy, oily / fatty food, maida containing food items, fruit juices/ sugary drinks/tea/coffee. Increase intake high fibre diet. Take light dinner. Drink plenty of water, go for walk/do light exercise.

Dear Sir, I am having mild throat irritation and foul smell and taste from my throat. I feel like there are some thing in my throat while swallowing. Dear lybrate user if it not clear by using antibiotic, then it might be acidic one, basil seeds are very good. Soak some basil seeds in water for some time and then have it with cold milk or any natural drink. The best known substance that reduces is sabja seeds, also called as tukmaria. Sabja seeds are soaked in water for sometime and added to milk with rose syrup reduce intake of salt, hot spices, oil, fried foods regular meal time especially lunch at noon. The possible cause of pain are * Wound in stomach or intestine * Improper Digestion * Swelling in Liver * Muscular pain To get relief- First your digestion should be proper .For that *Take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening. * Walk for atleast 15-20 minutes daily and avoid long duration continuos sitting. * Avoid taking Nonveg at night & in day time after taking food ,do not sleep in day. * Avoid taking alcohol for atleast 15 days & do not eat spicy foods surely. * Massage your belly muscles very softly to get relief from swelling only after 3 hours of taking food.
