Cause of Over sleeping A) Alcohol, smoking, drugs caffeine, sleeping pills B) stress, depression, fatigue inadequate/disturbed sleep, C) obesity, lack of physical activity D) Environmental factor like room is too hot/cold, excess light, noise, un cofortable bed E) Hypo thyroidism, diabetes, Heart disease F) sleeping dis order like sleep Apnoea (Breathing disorder where you stop breathing periodically in the night, due to blockage of Airway), narcolepsy (day time sleep), Restless leg syndrome Treatment A) Have a proper sleep schedule-Get up and go to bed at same time everyda y (body’s natural clock –cicardian rhythm will be accordingly activated) B) Good sleeping environment (Quiet, cool, dark, comfortable bed room without noise, light), C) Avoid caffeine/alcohol/nicotine 4-6 hours before bed time, D) Avoid day time sleep, daily exercise, light reading for 15 minutes daily before going to bed E. Avoid anxiety/stress/depression/fear/boredom/lack of motivation F) check your hemoglobin, BP, do a thyroid function test to rule out hypothyroidism G) consult physician for advice and treatment.

The principal symptoms of dengue are: -high fever and at least two of the following: -severe headache -severe eye pain (behind eyes) -joint pain -muscle and/or bone pain -rash -mild bleeding manifestation (nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: -severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting -red spots or patches on the skin -bleeding from nose or gums -vomiting blood -black, tarry stools  -drowsiness or irritability -pale, cold, or clammy skin -difficulty breathing

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Panchamrut parpati 1 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Audumbaravleha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner.

Chicken pox takes 7-10 days to recover. You need to be at home till the scabs starts falling down. Have healthy diet. Drink plenty of liquids. Apply calamine lotion if itching. Hope this helps you.

Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. Your issues seem to be mostly due to a chronic tension headache owing to lack of sleep over couple of months. To manage and alleviate pain, you can try light tapotement, with your fingers, on the head, including back side of your head, for 5 to 10 minutes. For this, you may either take help of a trained masseur or someone else can also help you with the same. Pressing the tips of both your thumbs together, tightly, for a couple of minutes and then releasing the same may also help release stress headaches, if any, and feel better. It is imperative that you relax and do not exert yourself either by doing some strenuous mental or physical work while you get these headaches. From a dietary and lifestyle standpoint, I would advise that you take care of the following in general which usually help prevent and lessen such issues - (a) take a healthy diet, majorly leafy greens and fresh fruits and have at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Ensure that you take your food timely. Avoid any kind of greasy, oily, high calorie foods including fast foods. Avoid taking too much of sweets, pastries, dairy products etc. Take green tea twice daily, without milk. (b) do exercise daily for at least 30 minutes. Walking is the simplest and the safest exercise. (c) keep your lifestyle streamlined, with due focus on destressing and relaxation on a daily basis. You can practise yoga, especially'savasana' for 15 to 20 minutes, daily. Along with, you should also practise breathing exercises ('pranayama') daily. This shall also help develop focus. (d) ensure that you promptly respond to the nature calls and empty your bowels regularly. Constipation, at times, may also trigger heavy headache. (e) ensure a good sleep on a daily basis. You should practise going to bed on time and have at least 7 to 8 hours of restful sleep on a daily basis. Remember that lacking sleep regularly can be risky as it may lead to serious degenerative and chronic diseases. (f) avoid exposure to cold wind, foods and drinks. (g) over and above my recommendations as mentioned above, make sure that you take regular breaks, relax yourself for some time and then get back to your work. Remember that de-stressing yourself at periodically is essential to your staying engaged with your work, and enjoying the same/ learning throughout. At the same time, it is also important that you set realistic goals that are specific, achievable, measurable and time bound. This shall help reduce/ off load your work stress significantly. (h) additionally, ensure that you take care of your posture and the needful ergonomics to make learning/ studying/ working a joyful experience. Hope this helps. Dear, These are some instructions & methods for good sleep: • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep. You can also do foot massage daily it destress you. * Eat food with a bowl of curd and after that off the light and go to sleep because after eating meal our brain become relax and sleep comes. • Drink a glass of milk at night daily. * Avoid the excess use of laptop and phone during night. CONSTIPATION:is due to an incorrect lifestyle and irregular eating patterns, not taking enough fluids,sedentary lifestyle.Foods that are heavy and difficult to digest, as well as oily, spicy, fried, and junk foods are the culprits. Eating food in a disturbed atmosphere or in front of the television and being awake late at night all lead to bowel disturbance. Psychological factors like stress, anxiety, fear, jealousy, and sorrow also play an important role. DIET & LIFESTYLE ADVICE: Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables. An Apple or Pineapple/Pomegranate each day is helpful. Drink 7-8 glasses of lukewarm water each day. Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each. Eat whole grains /nuts/sprouts/daliya and Muesli in breakfast Avoid removing bran from the flour because it clears the intestines Avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice,or high protein foods like cheese,meat and cold foods like ice cream or chilled drinks Take meals in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. Hello Doctor, I get minor pain in my left testicle. Also its size is smaller than the right one. Since past 4 months I have started morning walk and ab exercise and have observed that right testicle is now much bigger in size but left one is small. Yes but medicines may or may not be needed. All men/women are different in their sexuality and health.
