Follow these guidelines. Eat extra more frequently than before. Do not skip meals. Use extra refined foods with unrefined. Add ghee, butter etc with foods extra. Eat fish, egg, meat etc more. Add more healthy fats in cooking. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink plenty of water but not just before or during meals. Take proper sleep at night. These are simple things but for more details and quick guaranteed result consul me privately on lybrate.

Include various shakes and smoothies, dry fruits and nuts, ghee and other healthy fats, multigrain or whole wheat bread, cheese to your diet. Eat more potatoes, rice and bananas. You can also try peanut butter or other nut butters. Increase your protein consumption. Eat more dals, beans and lentils. Do little exercise everyday. We are here to guide you. Looking to your height your weight is more. For your height you can have maximum of 64 kg weight. So for a permanent solution you should reduce your weight by 14 kg. For that you can join a gym nd have some dieting. In gym you can also do some exercise which wil strength your quadriceps muscles. Which wil help to reduce youe knee pain. In addition you should take care few things. Do not use stairs as far as possible. Do not bend your knee more than 90 degree. For that stop using indian toilet. Start using western toilet. Do not sit on the floor for lunch, dinner or breakfast. Use dinning table for all this. In addition you need to take a medicine to regenerate your damaged cartilage.

Hi lybrate-user a high calorie high protein diet, with regular supervised exercise will help you put on muscle mass n hence b more fitter. Concentrate on muscle gain n not only weight gain.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that muscle gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Muscle gain is all about taking more nutrients than you use up. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps muscle gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 meals a day. Eat a protein rich mid meal between each main meal. Pre/ post workout meals need a certain amount of carbs and proteins depending on your exercise routine. Avoid junk, sugary, oily foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, healthy oils in your diet. Restrict eating sugary, sweet foods. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least 6 days a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite.  Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. So you should take following remedies improving weight a]triphala kadha 4tsp before lunch and dinner b]amala juice 4 tsp + sugar 2 tsp+ honey 2 tsp empty stomach in the morning umami flavor increases satiety and enhances appetite. Due to improving hunger and digestion whatever you will eat more and even you eat more it will digest properly and your weight will increase naturally without any supplement.

There are many possibilities for a single problem in terms of human health which a doctor rules out at the time of clinical examination and by relevant investigations. Like in your case it could be: 1. Any inflammatory condition of knee joints. 2. Varicose veins around knee joint. 3. Thyroid disorder. 4. Deposition of crystals as in gout. 5. Calcium or vitamin deficiency. It could be anything, every disease has its own pecularity which a doctor percieves and makes the diagnosis. So better see an orthopedic surgeon.

Thanks for health questions need not to worry eat balanced diet and more protein rich diet eat dark green leafy vegetables and friends daily avoid stress and strain avoid smoking and alcohol consumption if any drink plenty of water drink coconut water twice a day avoid fast food and restaurant food take less oily and less spicy food avoid day time sleep take sound sleep at night for 8 - 9 hours practice yogas and pranayamas practice morning and evening walk go for ayurvedic medicines that gives excellent result for medicines datails ask me on private questions section hope better health.
