Aloe Vera juice is very effective to stop hair loss. Pure aloe gel can be applied directly to the scalp. This is helpful for preventing hair loss due to irritated, dry or infected scalp. Aloe Vera balances the pH level of scalp. After massaging the head with aloe gel, wait for few hours and then wash the hair with lukewarm water. You should do this twice a week for best results.

I have continuous problem of running nose. Since. 1 year. It stops whenever I take certizine. But again starts in a day or two. What should i do now?

Dear Patient, Please note that headache is a symptom associated with many other underlying causes. The commonest being uncorrected refractive errors, Migraine or stress related headaches, Infrequent meal time, Dehydration, Excessive computer related work. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat.Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily.

I am consistently suffering from cold due to change in climate so what do I do for that?

1.Prepare a mixture of powdered dried ginger root, black pepper and long pepper in equal amounts and store in an airtight container. Have ½ teaspoon of this powder mixed with honey. 2.Add one teaspoon of turmeric powder to one glass of hot water. Drink this sip by sip frequently during the day. 3.Dry roast 3-4 black raisins and add pinch of black pepper and rock salt to it. Have this 2-3 times a day for 15-20 days. 4.Drink luke warm water 3-4 a day. 5. Take 2 tab giloyghan vati twice a day/ 1 month.& swallow 2 basil leaves daily empty stomach with water 6. pour 2-2 drops of badam rogan shrin/hamdard at night just before sleep. follow up after 10 days. 7. Take 1 tsf chywanprash/jiva with hot milk in breakfast daily in this winter season.

Pain during periods is very common nowadays due to unhealthy lifestyles. For this you need to change your lifestyle. 1) avoid eating junk & spicy food. 2) have black tea with ginger & 1 tsf cow ghee 3) make ladoo of urad daal fried in sesame oil & mixed with jaggery. Have 1 daily for 3 months 4) eat two tbsps of flax seeds during your period 5) drink a lot of water & fresh juices 6) go for matra vasti at a panchakarma centre 7) half a teaspoon of powder of sesame seeds taken with hot water twice daily acts excellently in reducing spasmodic pain 8) using heating pads or hot water bags around the area relaxes the stiff muscles and reduces pain by bringing oxygen in the area.

Hello sir/madam I have irregular periods it's already 45 days from my last period I have taken regestrone tabs for 3 days daily 2 tabs . Hi, It's normal to get withered skin if one puts hand for a long time in water. And adding to it, the weather also aggravates the problem. If you're looking to maintain hydrated skin, there are steps you can take, including: Avoid exposure to dry air Avoid prolonged contact with hot or chlorinated water Use a gentle cleanser instead of soap Avoid using skin care products that contain alcohol Moisturize immediately after a bath or shower and regularly throughout the day Use a humidifier Wear a scarf and gloves when going out in cold weather If you're concerned about dry skin, contact your health care provider or a dermatologist. You can improve your dry skin by good and healthy intake of food which should includes vitamin A, C, E and protein, lots of water, application of good sunscreen before going out. Drink 10-12 glasses of water, take more of fruits, vegetables, salads, almonds in diet. Sleep for 7-9hrs. daily. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Alfaalfa Tonic, Psorinum 200/ once daily and Petroleum 200/ twice daily, take them for 1 month. Average time varies just like'what is the average time for continuous running by a healthy person' all depends on one's age, built'shukrapushti' lifestyle and experience. So you need to book a counselling or meet any ayurveda doctor near you or lybrate doctor to discuss details. Increase in time can be by'stambhak' herbs if'shukra is'pusht' if not'pusht'vrushya' herbs needed to be taken before.

I am 69 years old. I am having very little pain in my left leg below knee upto feet. I feel this (in kannada I call it as zumzum) more in night. It is called transvestism. It may be little relieving for you to wear a ladies garment just to get peace of mind for some time, but it has serious social and personal percussion. It is better to get treated. I advise you to consult a nearby psychiatrist who may treat you well with a SSRI group of drug for some time.

Dear excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake are more than calories burnt, It can put a person at risk of thyroid disease, diabetes , kidney problems, arthritis etc... Dear to decrease weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach daily. 3. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 5 min per asana. 6. Do brisk walk early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 7. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 8. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 9. Drink three litres of water daily. 10. Take 2 tab medohar guggul and 2 tab triphala guggul twice a day with luke warm water 30 min after meals./1 month. 11. Revert me back after 15 days.

Hi apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with chandrika soap.

No. The level of ca125 in your blood can increase for other reasons, not just ovarian cancer. A ca125 blood test result above 35 is not in itself an ovarian cancer diagnosis. If the level of ca125 in your blood is 35 or higher, your gp should arrange for you to have an ultrasound scan of your tummy and pelvis. The ultrasound scans will create pictures of your ovaries so that they can be checked for anything unusual, and will help your gynae to gather more information.

You have allergic bronchitis or pharyngitis. Do warm saline gargle regularly have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. Go for morning walk followed by free hand exercises regularly. Have plenty of water by mouth. It will be alright.

Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem-solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning, at least, five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position, you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There is some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.
