Buphthalmia is the condition of bulging eyes in rabbits that is enlarged due to glaucoma. Exophthalmos, which is much more common, is a condition of bulging eyes caused by the eyeball itself being pushed out of the socket, such as by a mass in the eye socket, or raised blood pressure.

Signs that will say you that your dog is fit

At home to know that your dog is fit, alert & free from any kind of ailments, you must monitor the following factors-

1. Playful, active, alert & response adequately to your calls

2. A sound appetite denoting a good health status.

3. Learn how to measure rectal temperature. A rectal temperature must not be lower than 99'F and should not cross 102'F.

4. Water intake is normal.

5. Urination, defecation should be upto the mark.

6. Tip of the nose will be bright, cool & moistened enough.

If all these factors say you that your dog is absolutely fine, you may consider nothing bad is waiting to be happened at the early hours.

14-year old Lab with a huge boil on its left hind leg. Since we live in a hill station, far away from a vet, request advice. Thanks

Please rule out cancerous growth with your vet and biopsy . and if it is so never operate as he is of 14 years we can't do much leave it as along as it is . or consult your vet

My kitten paw is bleeding. I took him to the vet she cleaned it and gave him injection but still he is not fine he has started limping.

Its quite natural that he is limping it will take time to heal and you will need a follow up with your vet.

My cat get pregnant third time and I don't want to spayed her, so is there any another kind of non surgical way like injections or pills to avoid her pregnancy.

MVSc
Veterinarian,
Yes, there are medicines available for aborting cats too similar to humans, but before using that kindly show your pet to a nearby vet, so that he can check out how many days its pregnant and can see about its health status and he will prescribe the medicine.

Hi, you should deworm your dog every month upto 6m and later every 3 months. Clean the ear with ambiflush ear drops every 10 days/ after bathing. Follow manufacture instructions.
