Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Take physiotherapy treatment must for you and for hand after relief start strength exercise with cuff weight but gradually process. For back after relief start stretching exercise in daily routine and take lumbar belt sit straight and avoid toward bending take break between long travel.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned back pain since 2 days. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied 3-4 times in a day for 10-15 minutes at stretch at the site of maximum pain. - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. You are too young. These symptoms should not be ignored. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take bio d3 max 1tab odx10days ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

1. Stay away from Dust and Pollution. 2. Increase your immunity, eat plenty of Fruits and vegetables. 3. Kee Hydrated. Drink plenty of water and soups. 4. Exercise - Make it a habit to exercise or run for 45 minutes daily. This will improve your immunity. 5. Green Tea - Drink green Tea and coffee , They contain flavnoids and will.improve your immunity. 6. Multivitamin - A good multivitamin of Antioxidants will also help you avoid cold and allergies . 7. Avoid eating outside food .  8. Handful of nuts like walnuts and almonds will improve your immunity to fight of the cold and allergies. 9. Maintain Healthy weight. 10. Yoga may also help in improving once immunity and inner strength.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

If upper limb pain is due to some spinal problem, what is needed is, she must be physically examined and investigated x-ray and mri and then only the treatment modality will be decided. Haphazardly taking pain killers or other treatments must not be advocated regards.

Hi imbalance in longissimus can be corrected by exercise. Start with simple streching exercise followed by strengthening exercise. It will be good if you do exercise in under supervision of skilled physiotherapist.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Inform after 10 days.

Hi, pain due to lifting weight is due to increased pressure on disc material nucleus pulposus (which is a gelly like substance). In normal condition there should be no pain as bone and muscles are strong to hold the hold of lifting, but when they are weak load transferred to disc.

Hello, My wife met with an accident in jan 2015, got some scratches on her face and knee got admitted into hospital for one day, after her right arm was paining she was unable to lift her hand also, they took X-ray and told that no bone fractures. Day by day the arm pain was becoming more, after 15 days doctor suggested us a MRI scan in which it was reported tendon tear and suggested for surgery in march she had undergone the surgery and was recovering, same time she had the pain in her left knee also and after that doctor suggested for MRI scan for her left knee and then it was a ligament tear and undergone a surgery for that also in June 2015, with the grace of god she was recovering from that also the right knee started paining since from jan 2016 they suggested some tablets and also suggested for physiotherapy, even after that also nothing was improved again early this month they have suggested for MRI scan to right knee and as I said the report was that and again they are suggesting for another surgery we are totally confused what to do now, please help me we really do not want to get the surgery to be done if there is any alternate medication please let us know.

Hi, Do you have any history of injury? Or have you suffered from any medical condition recently? It could be because of general weakness or may be some other cause is responsible for pain in legs, will have to rule out the possibilities, need more symptoms. Medication: Meantime, start with homoeopathic medicines - Rhus Tox. 30 and Arnica 30 - both thrice daily for 1 week. Revert me back with more symptoms.
