Related to cardiology. What MICS is best alternative option of open bypass heart surgery? It is more beneficial ya not? What is the success rate of MICS in india? Which one hospital is best for MICS in india? please reply.

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Kolkata
The question very much irrelevant in relation to health. However AIIMS is the best for your service but after MCIS the patient should undergo through homoeopathic treatment to eradicate the chemical intake.

My wife is suffering from Diabetes. First detected 11 years ago when she was pregnant. After a Child Birth she is completely normal. But since last 3-4 years again she has this problem. Her HBA1C is 12.5%. She is not taking Insulin. Presently is taking "Glymipride-2 mg-BD. But it is not in control. Pls. Suggest some medicine which is affordable for us and Diabetes should be in control.

Diploma in Diet and Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Nagpur
I would suggest to go to a good doctor. Insulin will not harm her in any way in fact it will control her sugar levels. With regular insulin and proper diet where she should divide her meals in 4-6, times a day.

I am still studying in last semester engineering. And I will marriage at this year December-January. Now I am more thinking of porn and I wanna watch porn video and I wanna masturbations. So sometime I control it and sometime I do it. So I have question. How I will do now for marriage life and sex life?

MBBS
Sexologist, Panchkula
You can do masturbation two times a week, more than this is harmful for your future married life. Limit your porn watching. I advice you to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily to detoxify body. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Do meditation for mental strength daily. Follow this and give feedback.

Keeping Diabetes a Secret

M D Internal Medicine
General Physician, Ahmedabad
Keeping Diabetes a Secret

Most people with diabetes – myself included – have things about their diabetes that they prefer to keep to themselves. But as a diabetes psychologist, one of the biggest challenges that I have in my practice is when I have a patient who prefers to keep their diabetes, and everything that it involves, a secret from people in their life. I’m not talking about details like their last A1c or what their blood sugar was the last time that they checked, but everything. When someone tells me that they prefer to hide diabetes from other people, it usually tells me that they aren’t taking care of themselves.

I don’t necessarily think that choosing to be secretive about having diabetes is necessarily a problem in and of itself. Everyone has the right to share, or not, anything about their health care, including what medical conditions they face. However I am a firm believer that behavior (which also includes the ‘act’ of not doing something) is functional. So when someone wants to be secretive about having diabetes, my question is ‘what function does this need for secrecy serve?’ Generally, it is one of 3 things:

Denial: A big reason that people with diabetes don’t tell others about their diabetes is because they are having trouble accepting that they have diabetes. By keeping it a secret, it helps them keep up the belief that there’s nothing wrong. Talking about having diabetes to others makes having diabetes seem more real. Not telling others about their diabetes lets them hold out hope that it will just go away (Spoiler alert: It won’t!)

Embarrassment: It’s really common for people to be embarrassed about having diabetes. This embarrassment usually comes from one of two places. First people may be embarrassed that they are not ‘healthy’ and feel like there is something wrong with them. Second, some people are embarrassed by the things they have to do to manage diabetes, like wear a pump, give themselves a shot, or check their blood sugar. They feel like diabetes makes them different and may have some affect on their relationships. To help them feel less embarrassed, some people keep diabetes a secret.

Burn-out: People tend to talk to their friends and family members about things they are excited about and that are important to them. If someone is keeping their diabetes a secret, it may be a sign that they are burned out and that diabetes isn’t a priority to them at that time. This is a normal feeling. What people forget sometimes is that keeping diabetes a secret from others can make it a lot harder to get support and encouragement.

While some people find that keeping diabetes a secret may work for a time, but it also usually causes other problems. First, keeping a part of you life hidden from those around you takes a lot of work and can be exhausting. Also, keeping diabetes a secret usually means people aren’t able to manage their diabetes very well, making them feel bad physically.

Before choosing to keep diabetes a secret from others remember to ask yourself what function does keeping it a secret serve. Your answer may surprise you!

When I Studying something my right side head starts paining. I checked my eye sight & all the test regarding eye problem but all is normal

MBBS
General Physician, Bangalore
when you study make sure the lights are not too dim. do not sit and read for longer hours. try reading for shorter span and give your eyes and mind some rest. read only till you are focused. don't struggle to concentrate without resting. change the place to a cross ventilated area. even after that if problem doesn't solve, you should consider getting tested for migraine.

My wife had done normal episiotomy delivery before 1 mnth. Nd the suture is absorb properly. Is there can we have sex?

MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
Yes absolutely. Once stitches of episiotomy have healed, you can have sex very safely. Little bit of reddish discharge is possible to occur, however nothing much to worry about it. It will go away gradually. In case it's painful to your partner, you can use Lignocaine jelly for lubrication. No additional care needs for this.

There is a chance of spreading of infection...To avoid it you can both maintain a good oral and general hygiene Use mouth wash and hand sanitizer before the act. And she should too maintain her pubic hygeine

There is no natural or unnatural way to increase your penis size after you have achieved adulthood. The length of your penis is directly connected to the genes you acquired from your parents. Avoid masturbation too much.

You can ask your dentist or physician for some anti salivation drugs. Or you can go for bananas with milk in the night. Be sure to have constipation if you try to stop the salivation by medicine. You may also feel dry mouth.

Meri height grow nhi kr rhi .8 saal se masturbation kr rha hu .masturbation k kaaran height ki growing to nhi ruk gyi .height kaise grow karu.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
First you need to under stand some thing that the height a person attains is mostly decided right from the time a person is born, by his genetics. Height is mostly hereditary and a persons height is determined by the height of the father or mother. If none of them are taller than your current height then it is less likely that you will grow over that. Still some inches of growth is possible by taking some healthy steps which you should always try. Try taking a healthy food and never skip a break fast. Sleep adequately. Growth hormone is released at night in sleep and you should give sufficient time to sleep. Do regular exercise. Preferably stretching exercises like skipping, hanging from the bar or standing tall on ones toes. Also sports such as badminton and basketball also increases the height. Adequate weight control s essential to divert your energy to increase in height. All said, these habits are good for a healthy life as well. You can try all of them regularly and just hope for the best. Don't fall for all the super natural remedies claiming to increase height in 2-3 weeks.
