Dear Mr. Lybrate-user, do following:- 1. Geriforte syrup (himalaya) - 2 teaspoonfuls three times a day after food. 2. Brento tablet (zandu) - 2 tablets twice daily after food. 3. Ashwagandha capsule (himalaya) - 1 capsule twice daily after food. Take 8 hours sound sleep daily. Do bhrahmari pranayam. You can also go for ayurveda body massage and steam, which will relax and strengthens you body.

Firstly avoid all exercise for few days tk heat fermentation twice a day and muscle relaxant medicine.

Hi I am 34 year old and having back pain from last 2 months. Used few creams like move etc but there is no relief. My daily routine required lots of travelling hence most of the time I sit in office and while travelling as well. I had done ultrasound as well and its been confirmed the back muscles are slightly stretched which is causing regular pain. Please suggest me the medicine to get quick relief.

Hi you may mark whether there's any pain associated with the snap sound or not, if no, then just ignore it. Take back muscles strengthening exercises and apply local anti inflammatory gel like volini. The sound shall go. Thanks.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again. For eye problem kindly consult a eye doctor.

No exercise helps in correcting knock knees no matter what anybody claims. If your knock knees are in physiological range, just ignore it.

I am a 30 years old normally living a active life (45 mins of jogging, stretching, yoga, badminton 5-4 days a week) eggiterian, was a gym freck 2 yrs before. Follow healthy diets like pulses, rice, veggies, milk, fruits (juices mostly) but even after all this facing back pain for last 5 yrs. Job work is mostly sitting plus 3 hrs bus traveling however I know how to cope up (stretching, strolling, taking break in between 30 mins) only missing thing is regular sun exposer. I dont smoke or drink. But back pain (leg pain and stiff back, pain is shifting). Had gone to medication for 3 months from hiranandani hospital (disk liquid extruding was found in mri) but no relief. Dont know what else to do. I dont want surgery or bed ridden life. I want to be adventures but back pain is making all difficult. Please help.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

Mri scan can help in headache problems to find out serious causes of headache like tumor or infection. There is no harm in getting mri scan done. Migraine diagnosis is made on detailed history about headache pattern and response to preventive treatment. Since details of your headache character is not mentioned a diagnosis cannot be made. Migraine headache is characterised by unilateral pulsating headache associated with nause/vomiting and photophobia / phonophobia. There are triggers for migraine like sun exposure, certain foods or smell, lack of sleep, excess caffeine etc. The triggers are variable for different patients. Migraine attacks can be managed by simple painkillers like paracetamol but in resistant cases drugs like sumatriptan may be needed. Follow these lifestyle changes to avoid migraine headache 1. Maintain regular sleep wake cycle, even on holiday's. 2. Don't skip meals. Take regular healthy diet with adequate fluids 3. Do not consume excess caffeine / carbohydrates / alcohol or smoke. 4. Exercise daily (aerobics and cardiovascular) 5. Identify your headache trigger and try to avoid it. 6. Do pranayam daily. You can consult a pain specialist for therapies like dry needling or botulinum injections for your problem. Consult again for further queries.

White discharge is common during pregnancy. Take fruits vegetables dry fruits milk. Avoid junk foods.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles.
