Please visit a nearby doctor - as it could be simple water and or spinal fluid - this needs to be identified and then treated. If its due to cold then take ammon carb 30 - twice daily 4 pills for next 3 days. If no improvement visit a doctor.

I am 24 year old. Height is 5'10" and weight is 68 kgs. I have allergy from dust and cold. My nose seem bent in aller...
This has to be corrrected surgically as nasal obstruction is because of the deviated portion of the nasal septum (this is the bony partition of the nose cavity. Allergies are because of the hampered muco-ciliary mechanism (normally mucus is produced in the nose to moisten our nose cavity, oral cavity, and help food bolus to move downward, this mucus is basically moves on the cilia of the nasal mucosa) this mechanism gets hampered and mucus start accumulating in the nose and sinus cavity which is why thick mucus comes from nose in patients of nose obstruction and person develops sinusitis. When a surgeon removes the nasal septum deviation has not been removed properly the symptoms persists, and patient thinks that the nose bone has again regrown. It is not because of regrowth but because of half surgery done or due to the non removal of the deviation (reason can be many) nowadays nasal septal deviation can be removed endoscopically. Everything is explained in this, I hope this will benefit you.

Hi, My father has open heart surgery 11 years back (in 2005). He is fine, recently a week back he noticed some blood from his nose. This has happened only once. Do I need to worry, which doctor to consult?

Fellowship In Laryngology, MS - ENT, MBBS, USMLE
ENT Specialist, Bangalore
The reason could be very trivial like drying of nasal secretions or finger nail trauma or more serious if it is secondary to clotting mechanism derangement if he is taking clot busters for his heart problems. Check his pt and ptt.

I am 20 years old I have nose bleeding during summer I used medicine but not cured what should I do?
Dear you need to get ct scan done for your nose and sinus as main culprit lies in the sinuses, most of the time this nose bleeding is due to dryness in the nose, hence improve your diet which keeps you hydrated as shakes, fresh pulpy fruits, iron rich diet, juices and salads, banana is good for this.

How can I treat my wife from snoring during sleep who has 20 percent more weight than the actual weight because of her back surgery?

MBBS, Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE), Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology
General Physician, Noida
Hello, I am giving you some health tips for snoring problem Lifestyle changes to stop snoring Lose weight, consult me to guide for this Exercise exercising your arms, legs, and abs, for example, also leads to toning the muscles in your throat, which in turn can lead to less snoring Avoid sleeping pills, and sedatives because they relax the muscles in the throat Establish regular sleep patterns. Create a healthy bedtime ritual with your partner and stick to it Clear nasal passages. If you have a stuffy nose Keep bedroom air moist. Dry air can irritate membranes in the nose and throat, so if swollen nasal tissues are the problem, a humidifier may help. Change your sleeping position. Elevating your head four inches may ease breathing Sleep on your side instead of your back Consult chest Physician for further management
