Hi, if you have pain for more than 2 months, it's not a symptom any more but chronic pain disease. Important is to put diagnosis about pain generator (source of pain, if it from spine (disc, facet joints, nerve) then get the help of specialist such as interventional pain specialist or orthopedician in your city, but if it is due to muscular spasm still i'd advise to take from specialist for some medicine prescription and physiotherapy if that deemed necessary.

Hi lybrate-user. It seems that you have pain due to bad posture. I can imagine that your hamstring muscle is tight with posterior pelvic tilt. You must go for physiotherapy or you can consult me online. You should start stretching exercise for hamstring and calf muscles and also do static gluts exercise. You must correct your sitting posture. God bless you.

It happens due to anxiety, stress and agitation. please follow the advice given below 1.Avoid stress,strain, anxiety, depression, agitation, physical and mental exertion 2.Go for regular exercise 3.Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5.Check your BP, and if required ECG after consulting doctor 6.Take rest and drink plenty of water 7.consult for further advice.

DEAR Lybrate USER. A) Take 10-10ml of fresh lemon juice and honey before meal. B) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini rasa after meals…. C) eat 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jaggery after meals D) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for 15 days. Sir my age is 23. Height 6 ft. Weight 76 kg. Sir I had habit of masturbating 5 times daily since 5 years during phone sex by rubbing penis against bed for hours. I was enjoying my masturbating habit. I had started it at the age of 17. But sir during mid half of 22 .8 month ago .one day I felt severe pain in the left half head back side .a shooting pain. From.there it goes to whole head. I was in a severe pain those days at single point on half head. I went to an neurologist .he ordered CT scan of head. It was shown some sinus in my head. Doctor says it is normal. At that time my bp was 150/100. That time I left habit of masturbation but used to have night fall daily basis. After 2 month when I was doing yoga .one day I had frequent urination upto 30 times and weight loss on third day. Sugar was tested it was normal. So I had urinary tract infection. I had taken medicine for it but it was reoccurring. And also I started feeling bones and muscle pain in whole body. And numbness and tingling im whole body along with light abdominal pain. So I had my uric acid test .it was normal. But my urgency to pass urine was more frequent and dark colored reddish urine. again I had urine culture it was normal. But infection was with 4-5 pus cell. So I had ultrasound of abdomen and prostate .it came mild prostatomegaly 22. 6 cc and right renal cortical cyst. I had MRI plain of abdomen. It also came with right renal cortical cyst. But my problems of numbness and tingling in whole body increasing day by day. I am having excessive hair growth on whole body even on eyebrows and head but retarded growth on moustache. I am having more bone and muscle pain including mouth along with inflammation in body. Chest pain. Chest and abdomen enlargement too. Much.abdomen is looking too bad. Since 8 month my appetite is reduced. When I was well I had 7 chappati at a time. Now from 8 month I am having 2 chappati at time. But still I am having chest and abdomen enlargement. Along with hair growth on whole body .with new hair growth. Sir I had my total blood testosterone it came 2.21 ng/ml. 2 month ago and cortisol 234ng/ml. FSH was 6.28 miu/ml. So in mid I took glginseng and shilajeet and daily intake of 1 kg mangoes. After 2 month I again had my test testosterone came 3.73ng/ml. Cortisol 153ng/ml. Prolactin 11.28 ng/ml. Tsh is 1.34. .but sir still I am having problems. My bp is 150/100 and sugar is lowering 66 after eating. Sir I am also noticing that my testicle size is reducing. They are now 2 cm very small. Sir my abdomen pain when I sit and when I drink and eat something. And left half head shooting pain. It pains a lot. Sir I think some hormonal problem is in my body. Sir I think I had some type of adrenal tumour or pituitary tumour. I can not distinguish because e I am not a doctor but you can help me better. Sir can you tell me where is the problem?

Hi. Don't worry you are not suffering from adrenal tumour and all. Take thuja 1m 4pills once only do not repeat it from next day start taking following treatment sabal ser q 10 drops 3 times 5phos 4pills 3 times staphy 30 4pills 3 times for 8 days and revert back for further treatment. Do not continue same medicines more than 8 days.

For knee, most probably it's a osteoarthritis so you have to avoid low sitting, squatting and if possible avoid stair climbing as less as possible. Do some exercises for knee to strengthen the muscles surrounding the knee like: below knee keep a bed sheets roll and press on it, hold for 10 sec and release again after 5 sec repeat the same for 10 times, morning and evening. Than lift your leg up up-to 45to 60 degrees and hold for 10 sec and repeat the same for 10 times. Use hot pack for 15 min daily for back and also for knees. For back You need to improve your core muscles strength. Avoid forward bending activities. Sitting on soft sofa, Bean bag etc. Avoid low sitting. For spinal exercises you can contact me . Few things related to headache so that we can plan the treatment accordingly - if pain is associated with blurred or decreased vision than check your eye sight for refractive error - if the pain is associated with cold and fever than we have to rule out sinusitis as the cause and if the pain is pulsatile in nature and with a throbbing pain usually with an aura than we have to rule out migrane as the cause - if the pain is associated with neck problems than we have to rule out cervical spondylosis as the cause - if the pain is associated with either low or high bp or due to hyperacidity than we have to treat the cause after examination.

My wife is having constant fever body ache severe head ache. Even her stomach seems to be very tight from 2 days. We got the blood test done. But results showed negative for typhoid malaria and jaundice. Is there a chance for her to suffer from a special type of jaundice where eyes don't get yellow. Thank you for the query. Fever, body ache and headache are all suggestive of a probable viral infection (the prodromal phase of viral hepatitis may present in this way). Viral hepatitis generally begins with symptoms of fever and malaise, once the fever subsides, jaundice is manifested. Sometimes, it may not be clinically possible to detect jaundice, specially when bilirubin < 3 mg%. The tightness of her abdomen may be manifested, if she is having constipation though some other causes may be responsible. Since, there is a probable viral hepatitis (jaundice in simple words), outbreak in you area please get the following tests done (if not done already) - liver function test, anti hav igm and anti hev igm. You can get a dengue igm done also. An abdominal ultrasonography may be done, since she is complaining of abdominal symptoms. I would suggest you to visit your physician for a thorough clinical examination.

For headache take tablet paracetamol 650 mg eight hourly and I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and take a flow of steam (of plain water only) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required.

१. तेज़ पत्ती की काली चाय में निम्बू का रस निचोड़ कर पीने से सर दर्द में अत्यधिक लाभ होता है.
२ .नारियल पानी में या चावल धुले पानी में सौंठ पावडर का लेप बनाकर उसे सर पर लेप करने भी सर दर्द में आराम पहुंचेगा.
३. सफ़ेद चन्दन पावडर को चावल धुले पानी में घिसकर उसका लेप लगाने से भी फायेदा होगा.
४. सफ़ेद सूती का कपडा पानी में भिगोकर माथे पर रखने से भी आराम मिलता है.
५. लहसुन पानी में पीसकर उसका लेप भी सर दर्द में आरामदायक होता है.
६. लाल तुलसी के पत्तों को कुचल कर उसका रस दिन में माथे पर २ , ३ बार लगाने से भी दर्द में राहत देगा.
७. चावल धुले पानी में जायेफल घिसकर उसका लेप लगाने से भी सर दर्द में आराम देगा.
८. हरा धनिया कुचलकर उसका लेप लगाने से भी बहुत आराम मिलेगा.
९ .सफ़ेद सूती कपडे को सिरके में भिगोकर माथे पर रखने से भी दर्द में राहत मिलेगी.

Improve your diet and meal schedule 1. Take 2/3 glasses of warm water in the morning 2. Go for morning walk for 30 mts 3. No fried/ no spicy/ no junk/ no fast food 6. Take curd 7. Have good sound sleep for 6- 8 hrs 8. Eat simple bland diet 9. Can have some fruits 10 take more water during day. 11. Use ointment clindamycin twice a day apply on acne try for 15 days if no improvement inform me.

Tips for healthy stomach:: 1.Drink 100-500 ml of tender coconut water twice a day . 2.Mix equal parts of powdered fennel, licorice root, basil leaves and coriander seeds. Have ½ teaspoon of this mixture with ½ teaspoon of powdered rock candy (or unrefined sugar) 15 minutes before lunch and dinner. 3.Practice Yoga and Pranayama such as Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Salabhasana, Bhastrika Pranayama,Shitali Pranayama and Shitkari Pranayama. 4.Avoid taking outside food frequently. 5. Drink 12 glasses of water daily.

Arthritis is a disease in which the joints in your body swell. Inflammation or swelling can be caused due to body's natural response to injury or disease. It can cause discomfort in the form of pain, stiffness as well as difficulty in movement. Major types of arthritis are osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and gout.

Causes of arthritis

Arthritis is generally caused by a combination of factors. It can happen due to genetic factors in case the disease runs in the family. Sometimes it can be caused due to injuries of the past; it can also be a by-product of your lifestyle. Some of the common causes of arthritis are:

1. Genetic makeup in which arthritis can be a hereditary trait
2. Physically taxing work life or injuries caused in an accident
3. Imbalance in the immunity system
4. Infections in the joint.

Risk Factors associated with arthritis

1. Family history - You can be prone to develop arthritis if it runs in the family. It can occur due to its hereditary trait hence making you more vulnerable to the environmental factors which contribute to developing arthritis.

2. Age - The risk of arthritis can increase with age. Types like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout are more common in the old age.

3. Gender - Your sex is an important factor as women are more likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis while men are prone to suffer from gout.

4. Joint injury - Joint injury caused due to accidents or due to sports activities can trigger arthritis. People with previous joint injuries can develop arthritis in that joint.

5. Obesity - Excess weight can put a lot of pressure on the joints, on the knees and hips in particular. Hence, obese people have more chances of developing arthritis than fitter people. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a rheumatologist and ask a free question.

Hi, here are five tips everyone can use to help improve the quality of their sleep: keep your bedroom cool and dark put away/turn off all electronic devices while preparing for bedtime stick to a regular bedtime and wake time every day, even on weekends stop drinking caffeine by the early afternoon and avoid large late-night meals skip the late-afternoon nap, as it can make it harder to sleep at bedtime avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Do regular exercise. Go for a brisk walk in the morning. Medication: take schwabe's bacopa monierri 1x/ thrice daily and kali phos./ once daily at night for 1 month.
