Hi For better looking teeth, the first and most important thing is that you teeth should be clean, and free from plaque (accumulated food debris) and stains. For that, you must get professional scaling/cleaning done from a dentist. The tooth brush cannot reach all the surfaces of every tooth and therefore some areas remain unclean. Over time, the soft food debris hardens and turns into a more adherent, hard form called calculus, which can be removed only be a professional dentist. Also, along with cleaning of the teeth, antibacterial mouth washes are generally prescribed. For more specific answers, kindly consult me privately on librate. Regards.

I have a problem of sensitivity and little brackishness on my tongue so what should I do?

For sensitivity start a desensitizing mouth wash and toothpaste. Consult a dentist near you for thorough check up and treatment accordingly for problem with tongue.

When ever he comes close to me my moods gets off due to the odd smell from his mouth. I talked to him about this, but he never convince rather he says I don't love him if I love him then it shouldn't bother me, he doesn't do anything to cure his problem. Our sex life is getting affected. What should I do?

Hello lybrate-user sorry to hear regarding this problem. Im sure it's a put off and you need to motivate your husband. Don't worry here are the reasons for bad breath bad breath or called as" halitosis" there are various reasons for bad breath. First of all update your medical history as the problem could be elsewhere in your body but will be shown as bad breath through your mouth as mouth being the gateway for your complete system. Apart from that there might be local soft or hard deposits on your teeth which can cause bad breath. This might need professional cleaning by the dentist your teeth might be not well aligned, which we call as" crowded" teeth which makes its challenging for you to keep it clean. So consult an orthodontist (specialist for braces) to align your teeth. Your health of the gums might be compromised which also leads to bad breath. Consult a periodontist for gum problems. Your teeth might have cavities where the food can get lodged and might lead to bad breath. Consult your dentist for this. Inspite of regular cleaning and brushing it might be difficult for you to get a fresh breath. As I mentioned above your dentist will tell you exactly the problem areas. Make sure you do your part well. Regular brushing of your teeth twice daily regular flossing of your teeth (which means cleaning between your teeth by means of floss) clean your tongue gently as it can harbour bacteria causing bad breath stay away from tobacco related habits consume a lot of water and stay hydrated. As dry mouth also leads to bad breath. Please do not use mouth washes if not prescribed by your dentist as they have their own side effects which would be a negative to your oral health. Pay a visit to your dentist every 6 months or earlier for routine cleaning as suggested by your dentist.

I have big problem of my mouth after brush my mouth smell and teeth yellow . please help me.
Bad breath can be due to various reasons. If you have bleeding gums or tartar accumulation on your teeth, a dental cleaning will help you overcome the problem. If you have any other issue like constipation or acidity or sinusitis etc, you need to get the root cause of the problem treated. In the meanwhile you can use any over the counter mouthwash and maintain a good oral hygiene which will reduce the bad smell to some extent.

If you have pain, you should take pain killer, also if the tooth aches upon taking anything cold, start using colgate sensitive t/p, also get it checked by a dentist for checking the progress of a carious lesion.

1.) Avoid hot, spicy, salty, or acidic foods and beverages. Eg- lemons, oranges, pineapples, apples, tomatoes 2.) Take Becosule Capsule daily for 2 weeks. 3.) Reduced stress level helps as stress is a causing factor. 4.) Avoid tobacco and limit alcohol. 5.) Meanwhile apply Hexigel ointment on the sores for relief.
