Hey I have epigastric heaviness it often moves under my right ribs and sometimes into my chest. It's a constant annoying feeling of something present inside which feels very discomforting Also have a burning sensation I'm very worried What should I do?

Homeopath, Anand
Asthmatic patients have common complaint of epigastric heaviness and burning sensation. This is due to decreased lung capacity and improper flow of oxygenated blood. Deep breathing techniques, meditation are of great help. Homeopathic medicines are helpful in increasing lung strength.

Dear lybrate-user. If you have fissure in ano for last 2 to 3 years than the best treatment is to get a minor surgery done to reduce the anal tone which will help in healing of fissure and will also prevent recurrence.

Vaidya Visharad
Ayurveda, Narnaul
Stress is one of the main reasons for people losing weight. So if you are dealing with a stressful situation at work or home, take up yoga or master breathing techniques to help you de-stress your body. Once you learn to de-stress and relax, you will find it easy to put on weight.

I am 19 year young female. Suffering from stomach disorders as well as fogginess of mind. Sometimes I feel so uncomfortable to read things and understand them because of this fogginess of mind, things become quite unclear to me. Moreover I have stomach disorder, sometimes I suffer from constipation and sometimes loose motion cause trouble. I want to know whether both the problems are inter-related? And if yes kindly suggest me some home remedies and a diet routine. These problems are causing me a great trouble. I need a urgent help.

Diploma in Anesthesia, MBBS
General Physician, Hyderabad
First stop taking out side food, and take only home cooked food to escape this constipation and loose motions routine. Due to the stomach problem you may be having acidity/gas in the stomach which also may be giving you the fogginess of mind. So to reduce acidiy take timely meal, avoid late nights, go to bed by 10 o clock in the night, you should take plenty of vegetables, avoid excess of tea, avoid masala, mirchi, fried items. take atleast 3 litres of water every day, have some physical exercise like walking, jogging, dancing, yoga etc., Reduce your stress levels by doing meditation and pranayama. If you follow all these meticulously the problems will disappear. when ever you feel bloating of stomach take 2 big glasses of water.

A therapeutic diet in itself can solve many of your problems. Dietary therapy prescribed by a registered dietitian is needed. You need to provide me daily food intake example. There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed. Eat a balanced diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian, I being a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients achieve their optimum weight goals and help in several diseases. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. I will also prescribe medicines that will speed up the time to achieve your weight management goals and help heal many of your lifestyle diseases.
