Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

My height is 5'9 before 2 months my weight was around 85 kgs. But now I go to gym regularly (6 days in a week about 1.5 hours daily) and I also follow a diet chart (approximately 1100 calorie) for this 2 months. After doing this now my body weight is 72 kgs and now my body has in a good shape. Before 2 months my belly was 41 inch and now it is 36. But till now there are lots of fats in my body as well as belly also. When I run or skipping or walking then my belly part and chest also are moving because of lots of fat (my belly portion is too lose that's why it comes down. So now I decide that to gain my muscle and cuts fats from body without changing my body weight. I really want a muscular tight-fit body like a sports man. So please give me a proper daily diet chart to get a muscular toned and fit body.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal....

Ok don't worry. You are quite young and can easily loose weight. The desire to keep yourself fit in itself is very important as obesity invites many other diseases. First of all start exercising daily for 30-40 mins (brisk walk/ yoga/ gym). Take stairs instead of lift & walk/ cycle instead of hiring a transport. Prefer outdoor games instead of indoor ones. Drink 2-3 litres water daily. Avoid eating while watching tv/ computer. Eat slowly & chew your food well. Eat small meals every 3 hours. Avoid junk/ processed/ packaged/ ready to eat/ fast/ fried foods, sweets, chocolates, ice cream, soft drinks, alcohol. Eat plenty of raw vegetables & fruits.

How to reduce body weight. I am playing football daily morning for 1 hour & badminton for 45 minutes in evening. Still I am not able to reduce weight. I'm becoming more bulky, now I weight around 86 kilos & have a height of 172/. My aim is catch atlest below 75. Is there any method to follow.

1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. 4. If you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. 5. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 6. Do not eat for 3 hours before you go to sleep. Eating before going to bed is one of the main cause of rapid weight gain. 7. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

If you are eating one or two plateful than reduce it to three fourth. # take small frequent meals. # drink water natural fruit juice buttermilk thin without adding sugar or salt. # don't take afternoon nap. # warm water with pinch of cinnamon powder half lemon when taken every morning increases your metabolism # avoid food material in white colour like salt sugar refined flour - maida, butter and other milk products also bakery items. # do exercise at least for 45 mins daily # avoid roti in all forms. My cholesterol n triglycerides levels are high. I want to loose weight n keep my heart healthy. Can I take orlistat 60mg or what should I do.

Your cholesterol and triglyceride levels are high and you also want to lose weight. Orlistat is the medicine which is prescribed for weight loss. However in my experience it is not a very effective medicine. At best you will be able to lose around 5kg and that too will not be a sustained loss because you would regain weight once this medicine is stopped. Our body maintains its weight in a range bound fashion. It tries to keep the weight within a strict range. So whenever we lose weight, our body interprets it as a sign of weakness and tries to bring back the weight back to the same original as for the body it is the normal weight. For our body or appearance does not matter-appearance is a social parameter, not a physiological parameters. Job of our body is to maintain physiology not a social appearance. A sustained a loss of weight is only possible if you have a persistent and consistent weight loss so that the entire range of your weight decreases and your body respects it. Do calories from hard liquor add just as much caloric energy/fat as calories from other sources? What are" empty calories" so many people refer to?

Nisha, Carbohydrate and protein account for 4 calories per gram while Fat account for 9 calories per gram. Even though alcohol is type of carb, it is special kind. Meaning it is metabolized differently by our liver and therefore counts for more calorie than other carb - about 7 per gram. Yes, it is called empty calorie because it does not have any other nutritional substance like, vitamins, minerals, fibers etc. which other regular real food has. I would also call it not just empty calories but BAD calories because, it damages our liver and generate bad cholesterol.
