I have a sleep cycle disorder as diagnosed by my psychiatrist. But the medication is not working as per the expectations (I am on diazepam, imipramine hydrochloride and clonazepam) Moreover, I am involved in physical workout, healthy diet, following the guidelines to get good sleep (Like No caffeine intake after 5 pm, no laptops/tv 2 hours before sleeping etc.) Still I get lot of dreams during sleep which makes me very tired in the morning (Mentally as well as physically).

1.You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2.You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3.Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4.Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5.Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6.Take light dinner. 7.Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time . 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner.Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10.Don’t sleep in day time 11.Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor

I have gas's problem and assiduity problem from few day so I want to relief permanently what should I do?

DEAR Lybrate USER. A) Take 10-10ml of ginger juice and honey before meal. B) take 30 ml of divya shwasari pravahi (PATANJALI AYURVEDA) along with 30 ml of water after meals. C) eat 5 gm of black cumin seeds along with 5 gm of jaggery after meals D) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for 15 days. I Love to masturbates. I do once or twice in a week. But when I do this I can't do it twice continuously, it feels like as I am exhausted, same feeling also come when I am in a relation mode. And my erection time is very less 5-10 min only. please suggest me that how to overcome this.

Excessive of anything is bad same applies with masterbation. 2 things happen when one masterbate excessively 1. Premature ejaculation you can correlate when you started mastrrbation what was time and check current timing. You will find time to ejaculate might hv reduced significantly. Some people even ejaculate while rubbing in bed 2. Second problem is weak erection. Over a period you will feel lesser or weaker erections. One may feel shrinking penis due to this. If your erection and timing is still good then do not worry. Otherwise with guidance and ayurvedic medicines it can be cured.

I has once side head I think it's migraine. How should I know it's migraine or not?

Characteristics of migraine headache: •Usually occurs on one side of the head, typically at the front or side •Sometimes it starts on one side, and then spreads all over the head •Often described as throbbing or pulsating •In few individuals headache is preceded by aura, visual disturbances that appear as flashing lights, zig-zag lines or a temporary loss of vision •Other migraine symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light, sensitivity to sound, Stuffy nose, Scalp tenderness etc. •It gradually worsens and peaks after 2-12 hours, then gradually eases off. However, it can last from 4 to 72 hours.

I am 28 years old female I have open pores on my cheeks and nose. Please suggest me what to do to get rid of pores.

Using Dot silicone gel or toical retinoid cream (Retin A cream) is good to remove this pores. You can also go for masks. Pappaya masks are good for this. You can use this twice weekly. Also avoid sun exposure on face or use sunscreen. Taking vitamin E and C supplements , drinking more plain water also helps in regeneration of skin faster.

I am suffer from asthma last 5 yr. I am 27 year old. I had many checkup in delhi and other city. I had taken ayurvedic and unani medicine but not relief from it do please provide me some precaution and apoinmnent for it.

Do's 1) close windows at night to avoid pollens 2) take regular medicines 3) do exercise and pranayama daily 4) diet should be healthy 5) keep bedroom clean and dust free 6) regular checkup at clinic 7) use a light color to wall as well curtains.(especially bedroom) 8) dinner should be taken before sunset. 9) use mask while going out or apply coconut oil to nostrils 10) carry inhaler all the time (emergency) 11) massage to the chest and back warm with oil, afterward take hot fomentation. Don'ts 1) smoking -active or passive 2) exposure to allergens air pollution 3) avoid visit to gardens 4) stop the self medication. Paracetamol also increases the risk of asthma by 27 %. 5) avoid outside food 6) avoid preserved packed food 7) oily food should be avoided 8) cold drinks and ice-creams. Noodles and pasta are rich in calories and have high amount of carbohydrates. They are easy to make and also saves cooking time. If you are a non-vegetarian, you can also add lean chicken and a lot of vegetables to the noodles and pasta that will convert it into a high calorie and nutritious food and provide you essential minerals and proteins.

Tips to keep a check on increasing weight!

The main aim is to reduce the calorie intake, increase the metabolism and burn fats with muscle toning will sure induce steady weight loss which is effecting in long run. According to Ayurveda it is important to do following things to assure that you reduce weight:
1. Exercises daily: Stretching, Yoga, daily workout and aerobics will be helpful. Do the abdominal exercises like Crunches, side crunches on regular basis for increased waist line. 
2. Do not sleep in day time. It causes increase in weight.
3. High carb food like rice, sweets, cakes, chocolates, creams, biscuits should be avoided. Wheat chapati, roti, phulka are preferable with sabji.
4. Brisk walk/Running should be done at least for 30 min daily.
5. Try not to sit at a place for long time.
6. Avoid sweet juices, pizzas,fries, cheese, butter in your diet.
7. Avoid oily, spicy, salty food to ensure steady weight loss.
8. Indulge in activities like swimming, Badminton, football as they help to increase your metabolism.
9. Notice your calorie intake and adjust it according to burn fat (help of a dietitian may be required)
10. Dont have curd, banana, sweet fruits, cold food, junk food at all.
11. Use cycle or walk than using your car or bike to commute.
 Continuity in the following regimen is important for better results. Ayurvedic lifestyle has been found to be more  effective to enhance ones life and keep them
