Hello- Yes it is. Men are more self-conscious about hair loss than they are about penis size. They believe that a full head of hair is an indication of potent sexuality and virility. But a high percentage of men lose hair as they age, a progression that often starts in their 20s or 30s. Hair loss treatments vary, as do the causes. But often treatments fail because doctors misdiagnose the issue. For some men, hair loss may be caused by a stressful physical response triggered by over masturbation or sexual exhaustion.

I took ventab for a year & stopped. Then I have again started taking it since last 1 year. But now I have lost interest in sex. Is it because of ventab dxt 50?

Hello- Ventab dxt 50 is a antidepressant so it can surely affect the libido. Anti-depressant drugs have certain chemicals in the composition such as serotonin, melatonin, dopamine, inhibitors, tri-cyclics, etc. that severely affect the emotions of love in both the males and females along with decreasing the sexual push or aggression, thereby degrading the conjugal life of a couple to a large extent. This is indeed a matter of serious concern because ultimately the happiness and health are at stake. At some point of time, an individual affected by such problems tend to distance away from his or her partner and also isolates from other people. He or she cocoons in a shell and this gives rise to another form of depression.

Piles - Ayurvedic Remedies For Treating Them!

Piles or haemorrhoids is a condition in which the rectal veins become inflamed, thus causing bleeding and swelling. Hemorrhoids are clumps or cushions of tissue which get aggregated around the anal canal and are full of blood vessels, muscles and elastic fibres. Piles can be of various sizes and are found inside the anus or around the anal region. However, piles found inside the anal canal are way more common than the external ones.

In most cases, this condition can be treated by taking required medicines along with following a high-fibre diet. However, in some cases, the piles might be severe and need to be removed surgically. The common symptoms of piles are blood discharge while eliminating faeces and abnormal enlargements around the anal region. Piles might also be characterised by excessive itching of the anal region and pain during defecating.

In Ayurvedic terms, piles are called ArshaShoola which translates to extremely painful conditions akin to the piercing of needles. This condition can be gotten rid of by availing of various Ayurvedic remedies.

Treatment-

Surgical treatment of piles is not necessary; rather it has been observed that recurrence of the condition is experienced by people who usually undertake surgery. Treatment of piles using Ayurveda usually includes dietary and lifestyle changes; making most of the remedies easily implementable. Listed below are some Ayurvedic remedies:

  1. Herbs: Herbs used for ayurvedic treatment of piles include Haritaki and jimikand.
  2. Diet: Permanent moderation of diet is needed for the treatment of piles. Some dietary changes include:
    • Starchy foods such as yellow pumpkin and potato should be avoided and replaced with fibrous foods.
    • Inclusion of mango and sesame seeds adds bulk to the diet and helps in preventing constipation.
    • Natural food softeners such as ‘jambul’, ‘amalaki’, dried figs and papaya are also recommended.
    • Vegetables having larger amounts of roughage, such as turnip, onions, radish, ginger and bitter gourd should be added to the diet.
  3. Lifestyle Changes: Some of the basic lifestyle changes include:
    • Regular cleansing of the colon.
    • Regular exercise is mandatory.
    • A normal and healthy sex life should be followed. Aggravation of symptoms of piles is caused due to abnormal or excess sex.
    • Avoiding sitting for long periods.
    • Consume enough water in a day (about 2-3 liters).

I am a 26 year old female. I was prescribed taxim o 200 about 5 days back for uti. Today morning I completed my course but I am still experiencing urine incontinence. Should I continue the course of taxim o 200?

There can be many causes of urinary incontinence, only one of which is urinary tract infection. My suggestion would be not to continue Taxim-O any further. Instead try and search for the cause of the incontinence. A lower abdomen usg should be helpful for that. Contact me anytime if you need my help.

Hello doctor, my mother is mixing some water in our daily milk packet. Is there any problem with that? How much milk ...
No mixing of water should not cause any harm.. And your question about the quantity of milk... for that I will say that there is no fixed quantity... it can only be decided after the amount of your daily food intake, the physical activity you routinely have and what is your age (which is not mentioned) ... So better consult with proper details...
