know about homoeopathy

Homeopath, Bareilly
know about homoeopathy
1. What are the physical, mental and emotional aspects of homeopathy?

Homeopathy is based on the philosophy that the body, mind and emotions are not really separate and distinct, but are actually fully integrated. Based on this perspective, a homeopath seeks a remedy that fits all of a patient’s physical and psychological symptoms. Although some people’s symptoms may be complex, a well-trained homeopath will know which symptoms should be specially noted, and can choose an effective, individualized remedy.

Prolonged emotional stress can cause physical problems, like upset stomach, difficulty in digesting foods, poor nutrient assimilation, weaker immune system, sleeplessness, etc. The opposite is also true. Illness and physical problems can result in anxiety or emotional uneasiness. Therefore, it is important for a homeopath to conduct an in-depth interview of a patient to ensure a proper, all encompassing remedy.

2. What are the three levels of homeopathic therapy?

Level 1: First Aid
Homeopathy can be used in first aid to safely treat common ailments and occurrences, such as sprains and bruises, minor burns, skin irritations and reactions (including poison ivy, diaper rash and insect bites), teething pain, etc.

Level 2: Acute Homeopathy
Acute health problems are those in which the symptoms will eventually go away on their own. They are temporary conditions, such as colds, flu, coughs, sprains, etc. A homeopathic remedy can be useful and attractive because it is safe, gentle and has no harmful side effects. Homeopathy can also be used to assist sensitive conditions such as pregnancy.

Level 3: Constitutional Homeopathy
Constitutional homeopathy refers to the treatment of a person as a whole, including past and present symptoms. When accurately implemented, homeopathic constitutional care can elicit a profound healing response. Homeopathy can be extremely effective in treating chronic and long-term health problems. Recurrent ear infections, for example, can be treated with a homeopathic remedy for a longer period of time to strengthen the body’s immune system and to prevent future occurrences.

3. What is the relationship between symptoms and homeopathy?

Symptoms are the language of a disease — the body’s attempt to balance itself. Without symptoms, a person could have a potentially life threatening illness with no way of identifying it. There have been many cancer patients who reported that they hadn’t suffered from a cold or flu in years prior to their diagnosis. The explanation was probably not that they didn’t have infections during this period, but more likely that their bodies were unable to fight these infections by producing necessary symptom indications.

Many conventional drugs try to inhibit and suppress symptoms — sometimes leading to even more serious symptoms. Conventional (allopathic) physicians do not usually recognize the new series of symptoms as being related to the old. Thus, they treat them as new and unrelated problems.

Did you know that a fever is the body’s attempt to activate the immune system’s white blood cells and defend itself from infection? If a person is given a symptom-supressing medication — fighting the fever — too soon, they will be less able to fight the actual infection.

Homeopathy does not seek to remove or suppress symptoms. Its goal is to recognize and remove the underlying cause of these symptoms. This is why a homeopath will work toward understanding the whole person — including their body, mind and emotional state — before prescribing a remedy.

4. Can such small doses be effective?

Homeopathic remedies are indeed very small doses. However, they are specially prepared doses which undergo a specific process — including dilution of ingredients (called potentization), as well as a vigorous shaking (succussion).

Specially formulated homeopathic remedies are thought to resonate with the body, triggering a positive healing response. This response gently, and effectively, heals from the inside out.

The documented results from thousands of experienced homeopaths, and from millions of their patients, clearly show that these small, individualized doses produce profound health benefits.

5. How can the correct homeopathic remedy be found?

Finding the appropriate homeopathic remedy depends upon gaining a complete understanding of the patient as a whole person. This means that the homeopath must take note of the physical, mental and emotional levels of each person before deciding on a correct remedy.

Homeopathic remedies have been described as "designer medicines." While this might seem like a simplistic and trendy view of homeopathy, it is true that remedies are specially "designed" for individuals based upon their unique, and sometimes complex, state of being.

Take for example migraine headaches. We could easily demonstrate that one person might have pain on one side of their head, while another person had pain on both sides. Still another person could have nausea accompanying the migraine, and yet another could have dizziness. It is important to recognize that, in addition to the person’s physical symptoms, there are underlying psychological and emotional aspects as well.

Homeopathic remedies are only given when the total continuum of physical and psychological symptoms has been identified.

6. What is the difference between homeopathy and conventional medicine?

Homeopathy’s Approach
Homeopathy is based on a"whole person" approach. In homeopathy, the remedy or treatment program is customized and individualized to the patient, with the intent of removing the underlying cause.

Conventional Medicine’s Approach
Conventional (allopathic) medicine usually relies on treating a patient’s physical symptoms. This treatment might also assume a person’s symptoms need to be controlled, suppressed or eliminated.

The difference may be stated in a simple analogy: eradicating the "symptom" of a car’s low oil level (the warning light) does not change, or remedy, the cause of the signal (low-oil).

Does kissing, sucking your partner's tongue and lips, transmit HIV?

Homeopath, Sindhudurg
Does kissing, sucking your partner's tongue and lips, transmit HIV?

Kissing is one of the joys of life - plus kissing someone deeply is hot, hot, hot! and you want to be safe, as well. The centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) considers open-mouth kissing low-risk for transmitting HIV, especially if both partners are without sores or cuts on the mouth or lips. Saliva has certain proteins that make it an extremely poor carrier of HIV. As a result, kissing, sucking, and licking the lips, mouth, and tongue are basically safe.

Blood, however, is an ideal carrier for HIV, the virus that causes aids, and if anybody's blood enters the equation (or a mouth), things can get more complicated. If an infected partner has blood in his or her mouth, an open-mouth kiss could lead to transmission of the virus through the other partner's mucous membrane lining the inside of the mouth.

Hello as you said that your boyfriend was diagnosed but all his reports was normal please tell for which disease he was diagnosed. Your problem of white discharge is a very common problems in females it is due to in appropriate diet and lack of physical activities so I would suggest you that you should focus on healthy diet for your white discharge. I am giving you a natural treatment that is you have to drink one glass of lukewarm water and in it you have to put one tablespoon cow ghee in it you have to drink at bed times befor sleeping at night the swelling which is coming in your vagina is due to the fungal infection which is not completely cured yet I would also suggest dat give a break to yourself and do not do sex with your partner for about 2 months in 2 months your vaginal infection will be cured with the simple and best natural treatment I have given you. Lm and fever is all because of the fungal infection. In morning take 15 leaves of shyam tulsi make a paste of it and put in hundred ml water and boil it for 5 minutes then drink regularly for 2 months empty stomach I am also prescribing you a natural medicine called shree rasayan you have to consume one tablet in morning and one tablet in evening after your meals drink up to 3 to 4 litres water everyday but make sure you are not drinking water right after your meals give a gap of 90 minutes. Whenever you have loose motions eat 5 grams jeera nd chew it for 10 to 15 minutes it will cure your loose motions as well as urge to vomit do not use I pill as you said you are taking I pill every time then I may aware you that continuous use of I pill may harm your career as a mother. Feel free to contact me fr complete diet plan. Life is once and you are very young so take care of yourself wishing you a happy and healthy living.

Hello lybrate user- your pain during menses is due to improper tone of uterus muscles caused due to improper food habits. Try these ayurvedic tips- a) do not ever take a pain killer during menses as it will create further complications like pcod, choclate cyst etc. B) use dashmoolaristha 2 tsp twice daily ten days before menses. C) use fal ghrita 1 tsp twice daily before meals. This is safe and very effective, go try it.

Your doctors are guiding you well, now imagine lower body- in front is urinary tract, middle is vagina and reproductive tract and behind is rectum and large intestine, invariably the organs are tilted towards front side-anterior. If uterus has fibroids, it will put pressure on bladder which will proplapse or fall down due to pressure of fibroids and bulge into vagina, capacity of bladder to hold urine becomes less, resulting in incontinence.

Ayurveda and Knee Pain

Ayurveda and Knee Pain

Ayurveda is a very old system of medicine, which originated in India. Using herbs found in nature to cure various illnesses, knee pain can also be permanently cured with this method indigenous to India. It reduces knee pain caused by various illnesses including arthritis, inflammation of the cartilage and wearing of the patella among others.

Here are some common Ayurvedic remedies, which help reduce knee pain:

  1. Alfalfa: Alfalfa is medically known as Medicago Sativa. Alfalfa is excellent for making sure that your joint pain reduces, when taken in liquid form four times a day.
  2. Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha is medically known as Withania Somnifera. In the West, Ashwagandha is popularly known as Winter Cherry. Also, it has a lot of therapeutic properties, which include reducing joint pains.
  3. Banyan: The Banyan tree's medical name is Ficus Benghalensis. It has a sap very similar to the form of rubber known as latex is derived from the Banyan tree. The Banyan tree's sap is externally applied over the joints and the pain usually disappears after a few regular applications.
  4. Bishop's weed: The medical name for Bishop's weed is Trachyspermum Ammi. The oil extracted from this herb is usually applied to the knees to reduce the intensity of such knee pains.
  5. Celery: The medical name for celery is Apium Graveolens. Celery is not only an effective treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and associated pains in the knees, but it is also helpful in treating gout. It is usually agreed upon that this particular treatment is usually long lasting because of its alkaline nature.
  6. Dandelion: Dandelion's biological name is Taraxacum Officinale. It is rich in magnesium and is crucial for the correct mineralization of the bones. This mineralization allows the bones to become stronger and also prevents knee pain.
  7. Garlic: The medical name for garlic is allium sativum. Five to six cloves eaten everyday has proved to reduce knee pains.
  8. Ginger: Ginger is biologically called Zingiber Officinale. These can be easily included in your diet and go a long way in curbing knee pain.

MBBS, PG Diploma in HIV Medicine
General Physician,
Good day lybrate-user. Read your question completely and need little more information. At what day of the cycle the act taken place, did you take ipill with in 72 hours, when was the pregnancy test performed. Ovum releases on 14 or15th day of a regular menstrual cycle and servives only for 12-24 hrs. Sperm once deposited can survive upto 4-5 days inside the uterus. So to become pregnant the act of intercourse must take place from 10th-18th day of a regular cycle from the first day of the mensuratuion. Before and after to that the chances of getting pregnancy are less likely. This phenomenon is accepted by most of the people and it changes a little with every individual. To test pregnancy at home you must wait till your date misses and the result will become more accurate if you wait more. Ultrasound abdomen also helps Anxiety of the pregnancy can delay your date. Ipill also can delay the monthly cycles. So try to stay calm and try to memorize the dates of the events Don't take medication with out proper prescription. Consult a obstetrician for complete information and management. If you still need further assistance please contact.

You have two option for now either you can go for laproscopy to open your tubes, or you can go for ivf. In both the condition success rate will be less, but chances of conception are more in ivf, as with laparoscopy it is not necessary that tubes will be as healthy for pregnancy as earlier. So first see a infertility specialist with your reports.
