Get plenty of rest, especially while you have a fever. Rest helps your body fight infection. Stop smoking and avoid secondhand smoke, which can make cold symptoms worse drink lots of fluids such as water and clear soups. Fluids help loosen mucus. Fluids are also important because they help prevent dehydration. Gargle with warm salt water a few times a day to relieve a sore throat. Throat sprays or lozenges may also help relieve the pain. Avoid alcohol. Use saline (salt water) nose drops to help loosen mucus and moisten the tender skin in your nose.

Black spots or floaters have multiple reasons associated with them. Commonly, they are harmless; though, in some cases they may require further treatment. People using glasses for minus number (in your case-1.5) should get a thorough retina evaluation every 6 monthly. The eye has a front part known as the cornea, a middle part known as the lens, and a back portion known as the vitreous and retina. Floaters in the eyes of patients having a minus number are usually due to the vitreous gel in the back portion of the eye. To give you an example, consider a glass with clear water filled into it. When allowed to stand the water in the glass after some days tends to get dirty. Similarly, the vitreous gel in the with time tends to lose its transparency in certain parts and forms clumps. This is perceived by the patient as floaters in front of the eyes. The process of degeneration of vitreous is a bit faster in people who have minus numbers. Hence, the chances of seeing floaters are higher in people with minus numbers. A good idea would be to get a thorough retina evaluation done. The reason for suggesting this is that at times, floaters are also associated with breaks/ weak areas of the retina. They should be treated when detected. Also, being a retina specialist myself, I would like to know whether you have any family history of retina problems? does anybody in your maternal or paternal side have retina related disorders or issues? if yes, it becomes even more important that you get a thorough retina evaluation done without delay. The spotty vision can be rectified. The decision whether treatment is required or not should be left to the sound judgement of the eye specialist evaluating your eyes. Hope my suggestions helped you.

Hi. You have problem of mouth ulcer repeatedly that may be because of stressful lifestyle. Gastric problem may cause mouth ulcer. Drink more water. Avoid spicy foods. Avoid gaseous foods like cabbage, cauliflower etc. Avoid stress. If ulcer is long standing duration than you have to take biopsy for further diagnosis. Take care. Thank you.

Hi, Take medicine RITE-HITE (SBL) 4tabs to be chewed twice a day ,1/2 an hour before meals. Do pranayam,Suryanamaskar daily. Do swimming and stretching exercises daily .Do this regularly as you have a better chance of growth till 25yrs of age.

Massage any of the hair oils onto your hair and scalp by applying light pressure with your fingertips. Do this at least once a week.
2. Apply aloe vera gel or juice onto the scalp. Leave it on for a few hours and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat the process three to four times a week.
Constitutional homeopathic medicine will give you best result.

Dengue virus has got multiple strains. Infection with one strain gives immunity for that particular strain and not the remaining types. Reinfection with other strains may occur, and with increased severity, if you don't take preventive measures to remove the mosquito nuisance around you. Hi, you should go for brisk walk in the morning and evening. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take 2 cup green tea daily. Avoid junk food and oily food. Don't take rice at night. Take small and frequent meals.

Pain in the arm can result from a number of factors. Abnormalities or injury of the skin, nerves, bones, joints, blood vessels, and soft tissues of the arm can all result in pain. Arm pain may be the result of referred pain from another part of the body. Please go to a physiotherapist to assess and treat the underlying condition. If pain is caused by an activity, modify or stop the activity. Rest the arm and resume activity gradually. Monitor the response to the activity. Pain experienced in the right arm is usually not serious, but when it is coupled with other symptoms like pain in the leg or tightness of the chest, it may be more serious. Try some home remedies: ice will reduce pain and swelling. Apply ice or cold packs immediately to prevent or minimize swelling. Apply the ice or cold pack for 10 to 20 minutes, 3 or more times a day. Elevate the painful area on pillows while applying ice and anytime you are sitting or lying down. Try to keep the area at or above the level of your heart to help minimize swelling. Apply heat and begin gentle exercise with the aid of moist heat to help restore and maintain flexibility. Some experts recommend alternating between heat and cold treatments. Gently massage or rub the area to relieve pain and encourage blood flow. Do not massage the area if it causes pain. Do not smoke or use other tobacco products. Smoking slows healing because it decreases blood supply and delays tissue repair. Please consult a physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your arm pain. Best wishes.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Iron deficiency is most common among people of all age groups. The nutrient is critical, because it not just produces haemoglobin, it also protects red cells by providing them enough oxygen. Check out these symptoms to know if you are iron deficient.

1) Exhaustion- Do you feel tired, exhausted all the time? Most women think that it?s because of their frantic life. But it could actually be because your tissues don?t get enough oxygen.

2) Heavy Periods- Heavier blood flow is one of the reasons behind iron deficiency. Women may loose too much of blood and might not be able to replace it faster. Periods should only fill two to three tablespoons each month.

Dear user, welcome to lybrate-user. You must be able to understand concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. If the task is boring, it is natural that that person will sleep or feel sleepy. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions.
