Hi Good question! Similar measures are used to protect ourselves from Malaria/ Dengue/ Chikungunya. Keep yourself protected from mosquito bites. Children should not be allowed to play in shorts and half sleeved clothes Use Mosquito bed nets/ Repellents/ Odomass/ Kachuachhap etc. in home whichever available or you can afford. Must: Always have one anti-mosquito spray in house including kitchen/ bedroom in the starting of rainy season. Must: There should not be any water collection in house/ nearby house including water cooler/ bottles/ buckets/ holes etc. **All the best** "Aware at least 10 of your friends too about it, it is a divine job." Symptoms/ Signs of Dengue – for your knowledge 1. Abrupt onset of high fever; 2. Severe frontal headache; 3. Pain behind the eyes which worsens with eye movement; 4. Muscle and joint pains; 5. Loss of sense of taste and appetite; 6. Rash over chest and upper limbs; 7. Nausea and vomiting Precautions during dengue fever 1. Don't panic from dengue fever, it recovers automatically. 2. Get full rest/ proper sleep/ health diet. 3. Be caution of any bleeding sign from body. 4. Get Platlet Count daily if it is below 1.5 lac per cubic mm, and consult nearby doctor for further management. Dos and DONTs for Dengue 1. Remove water from coolers and other small containers at least once in a week 2. Use aerosol during day time to prevent the bites of mosquitoes 3. Do not wear clothes that expose arms and legs 4. Children should not be allowed to play in shorts and half sleeved clothes 5. Use mosquito nets or mosquito repellents while sleeping during day time What to eat during Dengue or Malaria? 1. Eat healthy food. Avoid junk/ spicy/fried/oily foods. 2. Eat homemade food include seasonal fruits, complex carbs like Dalia, Khichdi, oats and whole wheat bread etc. 3. Quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hello it seems it's happening due to food that you ate might not be good. So what you do is just do fast for 1 day. Do not any food whole day, if you feel hungry than just take apple, pomagranate or orange. From next day just have rice, dal, curd in lunch and dinner take khichdi, sabji, curd. From third day start routine day food but in 50% quantity. There is no need of medicine as such. Do ask in private consulatation for more quary. Thank you.

Ways To Manage Digestive System With Ayurveda!

Ways To Manage Digestive System With Ayurveda!

The Ayurvedic body of knowledge relies on the rhythms and functions of the body to find the root cause of ailments. The digestive tract or system is one of the most important organs of the body. The entry and accumulation of Ama or toxins can lead to an imbalance in the way the small and large intestines functions along with various other participating organs like the liver and more. As per Ayurveda, the digestive fires or Agni also need to be produced in appropriate amounts.

So how can you understand and take care of your digestive system, the Ayurvedic way? Here's our take on the matter:

  1. Types of Agni: The digestive system has four kinds of Agni or fire that keeps it in working condition. The Jathar Agni ensures that hydrochloric acid is being produced in the stomach which directly affects the thyroid gland. The Bhuta Agni takes care of the bile acid formation in the liver. The Kloma Agni manages the pancreatic enzymes that help in digesting and absorbing sugar properly. And finally, the Dhatu Agni takes care of the tissue transformation in this entire process and region. A weak state of any of the four Agnis will lead an imbalance and food will not be digested properly.
  2. Doshas and Agni: As per Ayurvedic science, the state of your Agni and its strength depends on the four Doshas and the one that afflicts your being. In Vata and Kapha Dosha patients, the Agni will be weak which will lead to a 'cold' digestive system where the food will not be digested properly. This can lead to constipation in the long run as well as loose motions and gas. In case there is a Pitta Dosha, the raging fire of Agni will be unbearable, which can lead to acid reflux disease and chronic acidity as well as heartburn.
  3. Herbs and Spices: The use of herbs and spices while cooking can greatly cool or revive the Angi, depending on your Dosha. Ingesting a sliver of ginger along with lemon juice can help in warming the cold fire of the Agni, along with other aroma releasing spices like cardamom, pepper and licorice. Further, saliva and enzyme secretion can happen with these spices too. Also, these herbs can ensure that your digestion does not work overtime or create excess heat.
  4. Ama: Using hing to season your meals can also help in better digestion of food and less accumulation of Ama or toxins.

One needs to know the state of the Agni in the body and regulate the diet and routine with proper sleep and food intake patterns, for a well-functioning digestive system. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Ayurveda.

Hi lybrate-user! I can understand that it is related to hormone as well as boredom that you tend to feel So, but this sort of a feel is definitely harmful to you, other person, your family members and society as well. Good that you have come forward to seek help. Definitely this has to be corrected or you should overcome this problem as early as possible. You need to completely change your lifestyle, if not you can go back to a different place of your hometown where you can have a busy schedule. This problem you definitely need a Professional Psychologist help either at your locality or online. Additionally you can take medicines as well as an additional support to get rid of this feel completely. It is a very serious problem to have such a feel and woUld be better if you could as soon as possible seek a Professional help, busy schedule, have some positive goals in life and change of a busy place where you can keep yourself occupied. One more thing I would like to stress, first of all try to delete the word that arises in your thought when you get sexual frustration to kill. First of all no human beings has got a right to kill anyone. If you are not able to give life to a dead, remember what great or you to kill someone and how much worthy life is. God created life and God only has the right to do so. Remember that human beings are bonded through love, affection and care. Do some social work full heartedly. Show your courage by helping others and not through this harmful thoughts. Try to give life to those who are needy. Always think of doing good things and not bad things in life. There is a purpose in life for your birth and try to fulfill that. Yoga and meditation from an well expert will definitely help you control your emotions. Take care.

Dear, the most common causes of weakness are * anemia * metabolic disorder (diabetes, hypothyroidism) * breathing problems (asthma, sinusitis) *digestion problems (diarrhea, gestric ulcers) * cervical spondylosis first check out your haemoglobin (hb), if your hb is low, then eat a lot of green vehetables and iron rich foods like apple, guava, sapotas (cheeku, beet root and oranges. Takeiron suppliments for increase in hb. If your hb level is normal then your all parts of body get adequate level of oxygen. 2. Take deep breaths atleast for 10-15 minutes twice a day. 3. Check out the blood sugar fasting in every 6 months. If blood sugar level, then take proper medicines for high sugar level. 4. In thyroid disorder, there is a feeling of weakness and tiredness. Check out your thyroid profile, if you feel tired even after the proper deit and medicines and take treatment. 5. In the morning, do medication regulary, do pranayam atleast for 5 -10 minute. It will make your hormones level normal.
