Hello, premature ejaculation needs a detailed evaluation. We need to understand how this started and has this been specifically associated with a particular partner or in all situations. Hi, one insect has gone in to my ear 3 days before. I concerned with doctor n said nothing is there, but I felt it was there. Can you help me out with following issues. 1) whether, any insect from ear can go to any part of the body like stomach or brain. 2) can it be die and still in the ear or it will just come out.

Relax, dont be overconcious. Consult good ent surgeon if you haven't. 1) insect can not go to other part from ear. 2) alive or dead both possibilities are possible if insect is really inside. If it is still alive, it may cause pain and irritation.

I m having a constant insomnia. I take alprazolam 0.5 frequently. I want to get out of this habit. Please suggest a way out.

Due to lack of sleep there are many complications arise such as lack of concentration ,irritability, fatigue & digestion problem.. So these are some instructions & methods for good sleep : • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep .You can also do foot massage daily it destress you . • Do not take stress . Do meditation and long breathing pranayams to relax the mind. • Do not take caffeine, tea & alcohol in excess and these are stimulant ,(activate) your brain result in lack of sleep. • Avoid drinking alcohol & smoking. • Avoid sleep during day time as it makes it harder to fall asleep at night. •Try to sleep early at night . Do not think during sleep and avoid use of laptop during night . Do exercise and long walk daily . • Avoid to take sleeping pills because these are habit forming drugs and these drugs disturb your normal sleep pattern. • Take a bowl of curd daily in afternoon and one glass of milk at night daily . My grand mother is suffering from Parkinson but the bigger problem is that she gets fainted when she walks or sits. Is there any thing by which she can walk properly or even sit properly. Her age is about 75 years. She has problem of even getting up from bed.

She probably has postural hypotension. Bp has to be checked in lying and standing position. If it drops by more than 20 mm then she will need medications. Alternatively she may be having multisystem atropy or drug induced bp fall on standing.

Hello Sir, I'm 20 years old, I follow a proper diet plain and do some exercises. But it doesn't improve my fitness. My body is not growing in accordance to my age. I feel very tired, exhausted and my brain fails to work properly after my college hours. And after that I can't study at home, it wastes my time a lot and I feel disturbed and anxious. Hye. Thanks for the query. You cannot blame weight or energy levels on the thyroid. If there is a genetic tendency, you will gain it only if you do not take care of your health. In fact even if you don't have a genetic history poor lifestyle can make you prone to a thyroid gland imbalance. General weakness or feeling lethargic is a common problem faced by many. Basically, weakness is “lack of physical or muscle strength and the feeling that extra effort is needed to perform daily activities”. Weakness may leave you without energy to carry out day-to-day activities, drowsy or tired, sluggish, and uninterested. Other symptoms include excessive sweating, loss of appetite, difficulty concentrating, and difficulty falling asleep. You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Persistent weakness can be caused by health problems like anemia, arthritis, hypothyroidism, a sleep disorder, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and heart disease. In these cases, it is very important to find out the exact cause behind your weakness. Diet is the main source of energy for our body. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well. So, to feel energetic and refreshed in life, you must exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, maintain your ideal body weight, follow a good diet, sleep properly, drink water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated, avoid alcohol and stop smoking.

Whenever I go for sleep my right side of the nose is getting blocked but there is no runny nose. And I also have a headache in different parts of the head (not one sided) like above the ears in both side and sometime I also feel pain below the eyebrow. Some says it is migraine and some says it is due to sinus. What is it?

These sensations are actually called as paraesthesias and are an indication of either a nerve compression somewhere, systemic pathology like diabetes etc or some local foot pathology. Can you please tell me whether there is any associated back pain, radiating pain in legs etc? do you feel any weakness in right leg region? you can start with physical therapy- tens modality and medications like pregabalin or gabapentin in small dosage. We will get some investigations done in your case if there is no improvement after 10-14 days. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hello lybrate-user. The symptoms of brain tumours are as follows -headache -nausea, vomiting -blurring of vision -double vision -seizures -weakness of hands and /or legs -numbness or pins/needles sensation -speech disturbances etc. As you can see, all these are common symptoms and can be associated with many non-serious medical conditions as well. Hence it is always better to meet a doctor in case of any medical condition. Brain tumours can be treated with surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy or a combination of these based on the type and location of tumour in the brain. Best wishes.

Respected doctor, my son is 3 1/2 year old and is suffering from epilepsy, as now at this stage he sits properly, but not standing or walking and not talking as little bit he is trying now but not up to that level, the treatment is going through" neurosuregon" as epilepsy medicine is being given to him the response is good. Please guide me what are the chances & how many days it will take & what are the medicines & excercises for him.

Is there some history of delayed cry or perinatal anoxic ischaemic insult as he is having delayed milestones. It seems that he is having cerebral palsy. Needs evaluation by neurologist.

My mother is paralised in right side at 01january 2015 at 8 pm. We are taking treatment continue till today. But we could not got recover setisfactory. Her right is not working and right leg is not working complitly beside this her right feet is swaling. Her treatment is tab. Complamina daily 3 times, ecosprin-75 daily 1, iron daily 1, multivitamins daily 1. After suggest what I can do/treatment.

I am suffering firm insomnia unable to sleep for last few days due to stress of aipmt exam so please do help me and do answer please.

Yes the main cause of insomnia is just because of stress, distractions and anxiety. As you said you are tensed of your aipmt exams so the best way to get rid from insomnia is to reduce the stress level. A physiotherapist can help you to give you the ways to relax your mind and give you comfort and stress full sleep. Normal sleep should be 8 hours to keep you fit and healthy. Consult some neurologist/neuropyschiatric and start taking medicine if it is due to some neurological discorder. And consult nearby physio who can make a perfect routine and daily life styl chart to make you relax so that you get an appropriate sleep. Please follow some points that will help you in such condition along with medical treatment: 1) use of ice packs over your eyes or frontal area for some time to give relaxation. 2) massage your head especially forehead area using levander oil or clove oil as it removes toxins from body 3) regular intake of healthy dietry food rich in proteins and vitamins. 4) avoid fasting - eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at fixed timings 5) make yourself busy by fulfilling your hobby as it will give you freshness and your mind will be diverted from normal life which help in pain reduction. 6) before sleeping time do some relaxation exercises. - sit on chair with both the hands placed on the pillow placed over thighs. - deep inhale from your nose, mouth should be closed. - hold your breath for the count of 5. - exhale completely from mouth making a loud sound. Continue to do this exercise for 10 times. Before going to bed make a habit of doing this daily. Modified technique of same exercise is while inhaling extend your arms, hold for 5 count and then exhale making your arms back in the rest position. 7) room modification while sleep - make sure room should be dark with no noise. Avoid sleeping immediately after dinner or food. Take a walk for 15 min and then come back, bed should be not too soft not too hard. 8) it is recommended to drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. It is also a very good habit to start and finish your day by drinking a good glass of purifying water. 9) exerices like aerobics (running) can be done to make your muscles active. Many other ways are there in order to maintain your life stress free and active so that you can continue to sleep on time and it does affect your life. Good luck and get well soon.

Migrae migraine is more of a preventable disease than curative. You have to identify the triggers of your headache and avoid them. Avoid exposure to bright light, loud sound, sunlight. Avoid stress. Avoid chocolate and coffee. Have enough sleep. Drink 3-4 litres of water daily. I can prescribe you prophylactic medicines too if you want.

In case you get acute pain take tablet brufen twice a day for 3 days. If associated with vomiting take tablet emset sos. Avoid aggravating factors such as tension, stress, direct sunlight exposure and take appropriate sleep.
