I am 19 years old and have being having heavy chest pain for 4 days now. It started in the morning, when I was running outside. It goes for a short while then comes back. I haven't taken any medication for it yet and neither have I seen a doctor. I used to have a similar pain 2 years ago and it used to come when I eat pepper so I stopped eating it. But now it has come when doing sports. I don't understand. What should I do?

Get tested first doing the right lab tests after a detailed history taking is needed. No need to panic .Chest pain can arise from the Heart, Lungs,Gut, Muscle, Joint, Bone, ,Mineral, Vitamin deficiency's ,Stress and many more The Doctors usually do not address the whole patient .That is why your results are normal but you are not normal-still having symptoms 1) Detailed history including dietary & lifestyle habits needed in addition to medical, occupational and environmental history 2) Comprehensive lab testing needed .Do tests for inflammation, mineral and Vitamin deficiency and doing tests related to the heart alone is completely wrong .Medications will never cure Lifestyle diseases. Only education about the disease with diet and lifestyle counselling will. .3) Get detailed dietary and lifestyle habits advice based on the basis of detailed history and lab testing only. If Your cardiac test results are all normal but still you have pain it indicates your Dr. Has not addressed the root cause. Do not blindly believe your doctors .They may have vested interests and many get kickbacks from all possible sources Always get second opinion about your disease and learn about natural alternate therapy which will cure your health issue. Send feedback with your name and contact number& take a consult for detailed history taking, doing the right tests & getting the right dietary and lifestyle advice and getting rid of your chest pain. All diseases begin in the gut and no health issue can be fixed without fixing your diet and lifestyle. If you fix these 2 things you mostly may not need medicines at all. Take a consult and treat the root cause and reverse your chest pain, naturally with diet and lifestyle changes.

It is due to digestive disorder. Observe the following to improve your digestive system---*Diet –Avoid fried, spicy and sour foods. *Maintain food timings-neither stomach should be empty nor heavy, frequent small helpings may be ok. *Prefer – whole grains, milk, curd, greens, fruits and such items which suit you. *Have timely and adequate sleep. *.Drinking lots of water is good .*Be relaxed and avoid tension *.Daily jogging or such exercise to ensure good blood circulation which helps digestion, dissipation of gases and nutrients reaching the body *Increased blood circulation, in turn, takes away toxins from the system making you more active agile and fit. Digestive disorder and flatulence bloats your abdomen causing pressure on other adjacent organs. Homoeopathy has good treatment for digestive problems without causing adverse effects. To start with, take Nux vomica 200 in the morning and in the evening for 6 days and give feedback.

I'm a 25 year old male. Yesterday I underwent Gynecomastia surgery. Ever since the surgery, I find it difficult to urinate. My bladder looks filled as the bump is big. It's like something is stopping me from urinating and won't feel like urinating at all. I've heard that this occur because of anesthesia. If so, Is it permanent? How can I stop this? Do I have to see a doctor for this? Thank you.

See your surgery or go to the emergency room of the hospital to put in a tube and remove the urine Male breast or gynecomastia reduction. Is one of the most frequently performed office surgeries and we are the pioneers in central India since last 30 years. To the best of our knowledge no medicines or creams work to decrease the breast Size. Gynecomastia is treatable only by surgery. There is no medical treatment. It is a one day out patient surgery with very gratifying results. It boosts self esteem also. The Dr. Can examine and tell you what is the problem, gynecomastia has a breast tissue and a fat component. No one wants surgery unless it is necessary. There is no medication which can give the results. Surgery is the only answer. It can be a day care surgery or 1 day hospital stay. There is no bed rest but 3-5 days are required for recovery and 10 days for full recovery. In 3 weeks you can go the the Gym. Gynacomastia is not a disease but excess response to hormones. If it does not bother you you don't have to get it removed. As long as the Breast size is big it is taken as Gynacomastia which could be because of More fat or More Breast tissue or a mixture of the two. The surgery is almost painless because there are enough medications to keep the pain under control.

Hiv transfer rate via sexual intercourse is already less than 1%. So it carries less risk with single intercourse. If the partner was negative and you have tested negative out of window period of 3-6 months. You can be assured that you don't have hiv. Nevertheless you should repeat the check after 6 months more. Also, you should be more worried about hepatitis b as its transmission rate is more than 30% after sexual intercourse. Get hbsag australia antigen test done to check for your hepatitis b status. Revert back to me if any doubts.

I am suffering from heat stroke. I want know about medicine which may prevent me from heat ?

MBBS, DPH
General Physician, Ahmedabad
I am suffering from heat stroke. I want know about medicine which may prevent me from heat ?
Suggestions for preventing heatstroke include: Drink plenty of water or other cool, non-alcoholic fluids even if you’re not thirsty (check with your doctor if you are on limited fluids or fluid pills.) Avoid drinking extremely cold liquids as they can cause stomach cramps. Plan ahead. Reduce activity and avoid exercise in hot weather. If activity is unavoidable, try to schedule it for the cooler part of the day and rest often. Whenever possible, stay indoors or in the shade. Stay cool and keep air circulating around you. Draw your blinds or curtains and use a fan or air conditioning if possible. If you don’t have air conditioning, consider visiting an air-conditioned shopping centre or public library. Eat smaller meals more often and cold meals such as salad. Wear light-coloured, loose-fitting clothing made from natural fibres like cotton and linen. Keep yourself cool by using wet towels, putting your feet in cold water and taking cool (not cold) showers. Check in on older, sick and frail family, friends and neighbours who may need help coping with the heat. Call them at least once a day on any extreme heat day. Never leave children, older people or pets in cars.
