Please do not fear as you shaved the soft follicular head got cut due to hard shaving and they got white and some got red so take some antibiotics with multi vitamins to get cure and if you would like to have homeopathic medicines for that than come to private questions with pics of white spots. A quick and easy solution can be found in your kitchen or your nearest grocery store — lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 1. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 2. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.or consult skin doctor. thanks

Dry & Itchy Skin - 9 Most Important Tips You Must Follow!

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL), DNB dermatology
Dermatologist, Gurgaon
Dry & Itchy Skin - 9 Most Important Tips You Must Follow!

Are you suffering from dry, stretched, itchy or flaky skin? Remember dry skin look older than oily skin, as they show fine lines and wrinkles faster. They also flake, crack and bleed easily. Read on for 10 super easy steps recommended by dermatologists to soothe dry skin

Prevent hot baths and showers which dehydrate skin further. Do these instead for dry skin

  1. Use warm water
  2. Don’t shower for more than 5 minutes
  3. Wash with a gentle and fragrance-free soap
  4. Don’t apply too much soap so that it whips up a thick lather
  5. Don’t rub your skin dry with a towel

Post bath routine

  1. Slather on a rich moisturiser after drying your skin: Moisturisers trap extra moisture in your skin so the right time to use them is immediately after drying yourself with a towel. It’s better to use ointments and creams as these are more effective than lotions. Creams with olive and jojoba oil, Shea butter, lactic acid, urea, hyaluronic acid, dimethicone, glycerin, lanolin, mineral oil, and petrolatum jelly all are good. If the skin on your hand is extra dry and feels stretched then it’s a good idea to carry a non-greasy hand cream with you. Apply it to each washing hands immediately to relieve dry skin.
  2. Use only unscented skin care products: Shun harsh skin products which strip natural oils from skin like-
    • Deodorant soaps
    • Skin care products that contain fragrances, alcohol, retinoids, or alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA)
  3. Wear gloves when washing utensils: This will prevent dry skin on hands. All you have to do is wear latex gloves before you start washing clothes and utensils.
  4. Choose laundry detergent with care: Laundry detergents should be chosen with care as they can irritate skin. Go for detergents labelled “hypoallergenic”.
  5. Avoid toasting yourself by the fireplace or other heat sources in winters: Remember heat is drying. So limit your time in front of a hot stove or fireplace.
  6. Use humidifiers to add moisture to indoor air: Use of humidifier will help prevent excessive drying of skin.
  7. Use milk on skin: Milk is packed with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that can fight dry and itchy skin. The lactic acid in milk also exfoliates dead skin cells and increases the capacity of your skin to retain moisture.
  8. Honey: Honey is one of the best natural moisturisers. It comes loaded with antioxidants and antimicrobials.
  9. Yogurt: Yogurt is a skin-hydrating agent par excellence. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties also help soothe dry and itchy skin.

My skin looking so dull, how I have a natural glow, and healthy body. please help.
Get your facial done once in every 15 days for 3 months and then once in a month. It purpose is to activate facial nerve which tones-up the facial muscles and removes dead skin over the face. So no more darker tone. You will start getting normal skin back again. Take care.:)

I have little more melanin on my face, I am taking treatment such as facial and home made packs to get fair complex . Although some amount of changes is found, I'm not completely satisfied. Is it possible to turn my face color to my body color. I tried using sunscreen but I get pimples when I start using creams, hence I am not applying any creams. Please suggest your opinion, Well I'm interested to contact dermatologist but I feel like getting treatment is temporary & it would last only till I take treatment . What would be the permanent solution ? Please suggest .

Kojic acid is a very powerful acid that can help reduce melanin. Use any face wash with kojic acid like ethiglow. As far as sunscreen is concerned, I believe you are using cream based sunscreen but you should use water based sunscreen. Use sunprotek by salve pharma.

Hi doctor, my problem is that I feel cuts on the outer area of anus while passing the stool especially if I get constipated stool. Even with the feel of water that area becomes itchy. But after 5 min there is no problem. Please suggest any remedy and why does it happen?

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), MS - Urology, MBBS
Urologist, Ahmedabad
Dear , this means you have anal fissure which is due to constipation with passage of hard faeces. This is not a disease but lifestyle problem and it would need changing. Here are few suggestions: 1. Increase fluid intake till urine is watery white. 2. Take high fiber diet like salads, leafy vegetable and fruits especially papita, banana, mango, 3. Take emoliant laxative like cremaffin plus 1 tsf at night 4. Isabgol powder 3-4 tsf in 2oo ml of water at night 5. Zincal ointment to applied inside anus twice a day especially before toilet. 6. Get away from sedentary lifestyle and start walking or exercises. 7 if needed take sitz' bath- sitting in tubful of warm water for 15-20 minutes. 8. Avoid taking pain killers and antispasmodic drugs
