Hi. For post inflammatory hyperpigmentation: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Also, use Bakson’s Apricot scrub 1-2times a week on the area. For acne pits: If you are talking about pits on the skin, then they can only be taken care with various skin treatments like microdermabrasion, skin polishing, chemical peels, laser, etc. but getting totally rid off this is a bit not possible or else you can consult a dermatologist.

You need to get the latest test results for the analysis. So get T3, T4, TSH done, get it done on fasting that is do not take any thing including tea or coffee and get the test in the morning hours. At the same time on empty stomach get the Lipid profile test also done which will give the status of cholesterol in the blood and the first test will give thyroid hormone levels basing on which we can suggest some remedial steps. If you are already using throid medicine get the test done after taking the tablet with water and on empty stomach. Come back with the results and names of the medicines with strength if you are using any. In the open questions we can not give medicines names so you need to come in private consultation

Hi lybrate-user Super slimming tips 1. Think thin Think yourself fit and in shape. Positive thought has amazing results! When positive thinking penetrates your mind it helps you attain your goal instead of putting spokes in the wheel of success. 2. When tempted to indulge, go brush your teeth When your mind is about to give in to temptation, go brush your teeth. It works wonders and your craving would have passed. 3. Sip soup for super slimming Make yourself soup of mixed veggies, greens or lentil. Soup is naturally filling and nourishing, eat it before mealtimes to decrease your overall calorie intake. 4. Never finish the leftovers Don’t treat each meal, as it is your last supper. Refrigerate or distribute leftovers. Ask naturally slim people what they eat and you will get a consistent answer. They eat when they are hungry and stop when they have had enough. 5. Fuel right If you want a sense of well-being and energy, fuel your body right so it performs well. The body has an internal clock and the metabolism is regulated by regular cycles. If you learn to respect these cycles slimming will be easier. 6. Think of a new stimulation, a new goal or a new sense of achievement. 10. For fast fat burning, pick up a pair of weights Weight training builds muscle and raises your metabolism. Weight train thrice a week and do cardiovascular exercises the other three days to burn calories. 11. Separate food from television You tend to eat mindlessly when you watch television. Whether it is junk or health food that you eat, you should always be fully aware of what and how much goes into your system. 12. Make smart food choices Eat nutritious foods. Choose wholesome foods instead of packaged, refined foods. Be creative in your choices so that the food you eat is tasty as well as low in calories. 13. Eat fiber Fibre fills you up and helps you lose weight. Good choices are veggies, fruits, whole grain cereals, unpolished rice and whole grain bread. 14. Keep an apple with you always You cannot predict hunger so always make sure you have a healthy snack accessible. 15. Take exercise breaks Take exercise breaks, regularly. You could stretch mid-morning, or take a walk at lunchtime, or climb up and down stairs when you are stressed. 16. Think before you drink When you drink, know you are consuming empty calories. If you wish to drink occasionally, add some more exercise that day. 17. Hydrate yourself Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Also eat high water content foods that will help you lose weight. Schedule “workout” in your daily planner Make exercise an important commitment and write it down in your planner so that you are more likely to keep the “appointment”. It is also a good idea to keep tabs on your workout progress so that you are motivated to continue exercising.

Follow these important tips to get fair colour of skin * avoid to go in strong sunlight and if you have to go in sunlight then cover your face & exposed parts of body before going in sunlight. * Use sunscreen having SPF 15 on face especially in summer and spring season. * Take vitamin -E rich foods like dry fruits, egg and fish as you like. You can take cord liver oil capsule daily. * Take more anti oxidant foods like fruits (Apple, grapes, melon) and citrus fruits. * Make paste of Papaya and apply this paste on face & exposed body parts and leave it for 15 minutes. It brightens the skin and lower melanin content. For fair skin: • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week. • Drink 2-3 liters of water everyday to get hydrated & glowing skin. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water.

Dear , Chronic anxiety does not have any health benefit. On the other hand it predisposes one to many physical illnesses. You have nausea (feeling of vomiting) and weight loss. They may be due to anxiety or other causes. I hope you are consulting a psychiatrist for your anxiety. Please consult with him/her once again. It may be drug induced also. He/She may stop sertraline and start another antidepressant. However till he/she changes please continue clonazepam and sertraline.

Hi, you will have to see a good diabetologist who can give you diabetes medicine. Also follow the following: eat small frequent meals. Don't eat sugar, jaggery, sugarcane juice and fruit juices. Exercise everyday for atleast 30 minutes. Don't eat large meals. Avoid junk food. Regards

Deep condition every alternate week. Use a deep conditioner that contains protein at least twice a month to strengthen hair. Hot oil treatment with olive oil to intensely moisten the hair follicles is also very effective to stop hair fall.

I have severe cramps during my periods starting from one day before period starts till after bleeding stops on 3rd or 4th day. I am 30 years old and married for last 10 years. I do not have children and have decided to remain childless. We currently use condoms as contraception. I visited a gynecologist who clearly said that I have primary dysmenorrhea and there is no cure except for painkillers. He also suggested me to have child to get rid of period pain permanently. I have been thinking about using oral contraceptives hoping that it may reduce pain or if I continue taking oral contraceptives without break, I may avoid having periods. Am I thinking correctly. Kindly suggest what oral contraceptive (name & chemical composition please) would be suitable for me!

what you are suffering is Pre menstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhea. This occurs due to some hormonal factors and the dysmenorrhea could be spontaneous or due to some some fibroids, ovarian cysts or pelvic infections. There are many ways to cure dysmenorrhea, but taking pain killers is the cheapest and commonest way Yoga, mild exercises, accupressure, can also be used to reduce period pain For premenstrual syndrome you can take some tablets which are nutraceuticals and this can help your pain factor before menses, but these tablets have to be taken atleast 5 days before menses. Yes, Oral contraceptives can help you with relief from dysmenorrhea and PMS. So you can use them. Unfortunately, ONE CANNOT prescribe on a chat forum like this without a prior consultation in person. so if possible meet a Gynecologist and get examination done. It;s OKAY if one has to take painkillers for pain at each menses, THEY dont harm you so much. Pain killers ALWAYS have to be taken after a good meal But one must take anti acidity tablets too before consuming pain killers. If you paln to remain childless, then the unopposed estoigens can cause some problems like tumors in breast, or uterus ( fibroids) which are common in unmarried elderly patients
