I am. Having neck. Pain. Since five day. It is getting worse day by day. Please help. Me to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Get x-ray or mri done to rule out any structural joint abnormalities. Meanwhile, go for ayurveda's panchkarma therapy - we have many option for you - greeva basti (specialized procedure for neck pains), localised massgae with herbal oils, localised medicated steam, pottali massage. Continue these procedures for atleast 15 days. Regular oiling of the joint will improve the lubrication also. These procedures will relax your neck muscles and give strength to your nerves and muscles of neck. Also start some yogic exercises - tadasana, dhanurasan, halasana along with these therapies. Avoid using big pillow. Do not read or use gadets while lying on bed. This will greatly help. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking.. What is the symptoms of chikungunya and I have fever for over last 4 days and I have pain in my full body and what should I do.

1. Chikungunya is a viral fever transmitted by infected female aedes aegypti mosquito. 2. Symptoms are similar to dengue fever with a) abrupt onset of fever, joint pain/swelling b, headache, muscle pain, c) skin rash. D) mostly the symptoms subside within a week e) in some joint pain may persist for months/years if you have fever follow the advice given below 1. Take one tablet of crocin advance sos upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2. Cold sponging sos 3. Drink plenty of water 4. Take rest 5. If no relief do blood examination like esr, cbc, widal/ typhidot test, blood for mp/malaria antigen and dengue antigen (ns1) test, urine re/me after consulting physician and follow the advice and treatment.

Hi, I Usually Suffer from headache like if I got delay in having food at times or if have to walk in direct sunlight in afternoon for some time & If I have to face heavy work day or hectic schedule in a day & it's start slowly but after some time it's pain a lot & the only way remains to take painkiller so I think will it be right to take medicine for this regularly? Because of siderffects, Or is there any other way to get rid of this problem.

This type of headeche you get because of variation atmosphere or seasonal changes depending upon your mood or stress and strain anxiety neurosis. Etc and you have also sun allergy you should apply suncream whenever you go out orvsunglasscand umbrella because you are sensitive to whether changes. You can take the preventive pain killers like paracetamol or calpol as and when required not for continuous longer duration these are safe drug does not cause addiction to drug or drhgvdeoendency but you should not take more than four tab a day take plenty of water by mouth do warm salinevgargle regularly have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection.

There is headache but can't diagnose the acidity or any else. What is the reason behind that!

Headache can be because of multiple causes. It can be primary or idiopathic and secondary due to other causes. Careful history is essential for diagnosing the type of headache. Please look for red flags in the history which warrants immediate referral to a neurologist

1.It could be a tension headache due to stress, strain or migraine. 2.Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, take adequate sleep for 7-8 hours daily 3.Go for regular exercise 4.Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5.Check for refractive error, sinusitis Hemoglobin, BP 6. Consult Neurologist to rule out other causes of headache 7. consult for further advice

Sir, I've been preparing ssc examination for 2 years but still I could not get success (i wrote it to explain my depression). I worked very hard in this 2 years but now I think my mind becomes very slow ,during study I lost concentration and link with useless topic and my mind starts to ache and it heats too much and I feel very tired cause I take too much time to solve the question that a mediocre does within minute despite his knowledge within me. Sir I am not able to stop this mind seek and I now if I do it I get success soon. So please sir help me to take out from this disease. It's abt my career, my life.

Hi lybrate-user, if its depression you can start off medicine with a psychiatrist. Clearing ssc may be your goal but thats not the last thing to look forward in life, always keep a back up, I am sure there are umpteen no. Jobs that you can be selected for, so work hard but don't be disheartened you are worthy of everything, feel confident, failure success are part of life what matters I how we handle it, give your best shot if it does not work out just switch to something you like or career of your choice other than this. Take psychotherapy from a psychologist. Consult for same. All the best.

You are having premature ejaculation.It may be due to 1.Anxiety, depression 2.Fatigue, stress 3.Relationship issues, performance anxiety, 4.consumption of alcohol, tobacco etc 5You can take the following measures a)Avoid stress, anxiety b)Avoid alcohol and tobacco consumption c)Go for regular exercise d) lead a healthy living style e) Practice relaxation Technique by deep breathing exercise ( take deep full breath for 5 seconds, hold it for 3 seconds, exhale slowly for 5 seconds). Do it for 5 minutes without breaking the rhythm. It controls arousals and tension that lead to early ejaculation. f)Consult sex therapist/sexologist for advice

I am 26 years old 62 kgs/5.3" I am heavy on the arms and lower body. How can we reduce inches + fat from arms, hips and thighs without any medicines? One of the gym trainers told me it is necessary to do weights for arms and leg machines like leg press and hamstring , weighted lunges, weighted squats etc. ? I diet along with workout thrice a week spread over cardio, functional and leg workout each. Also I have heard that once you stop going to the gym you gain double of the weight you lost. Is this true? I have also heard that squats and lunges may increase the hips and thighs. Please help me with what is true and what are myths and a solution to this problem.

Dear lybrateuser, -You can reduce fat by diet & exercise & not with any medication -you are already following a diet programme & exercising in the gym under a trainer,follow the instuctions for a month or so & then see if any changes are there if instead of getting toned & slim you are bulking up with muscles then you should reduce the weights -also include brisk walking & jogging when you are not training in the gym as these exercises in the fresh air are more effective in reducing the overall body fat & will help you in the future to maintain yourself even if you donot go to the gym, swimming also is a great option to get your body toned & slim especially arms, hips & thighs, the advantage of these outdoor activities is that they can become a part of your daily routine & you know how much you have to do to achieve desired results, the weight loss once achieved will be maintained throughout unlike a gym where if you stop going your weight may start increasing -also be active throughout the day by doing some activity even sitting at the desk you can exercise your arms by stretching them above head then bringing them down so plan your diet & daily activities in such a way that help you maintain your weight even when you stop going to the gym -there are also some new techniques in the market which help you reduce weight -it takes sometime to strike a balance but be reglar in whatever activities you do.

Both are equally good. Dry fruit contains protein, iron, fresh fruit contains vitamins, minerals. Fresh fruit is comparatively cheap and has all good nutritional value.

I am having pain in my chest. It is like pinching near my heart and sometimes pain in my chest. The pain is of few seconds.

1.For your age pain chest could be due to anxiety, stress, depression, Physical and mental strain, hyper acidity, muscular problem 2. Avoid stress and strain 3.Do regular exercise, reduce your weight if over weight. 4.Control your diet. Avoid oily/spicy/fried and junk food, high calorie and cholesterol rich diet. Take small frequent meals (5-6 meals/day instead of three heavy meals. If you have hyper acidity take one tablet of pan 40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days 5.Do Yoga, Meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress. 6.Have sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily. 7.Avoid smoking, alcohol, excess tea/coffee, if you are having 8. Drink plenty of water and take rest 9. Takecrocin Advance one tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets per day at the time of chest pain 10. If you have recurrent attack of chest pain check your BP, take ECG, X ray chest and consult physician for advice and treatment.
