From two days I am having pain in my back neck. What medicine should I prefer to cure it, it hurts when I rotate my neck?

BAMS

You can apply any analgesic ointments or gels or sprays 4-5 times per day. Avoid hard pillows. Use soft pillow while sleeping. You can take analgesic tablets orally. You can even go for a mild oil massage. If the pain does not subside within 2-3 days with the above measures, get yourself checked by a doctor for further treatment.

Hamstring Stretch Lie on your back with your left leg flat on the floor. Loop a towel or rope around your right foot and pull your leg as far as comfortable toward your chest, while keeping a slight bend at the knee. Keep your back pressed to the floor throughout the stretch. Hold for 10 to 30 seconds and then release. Repeat 3 or 4 times with each leg. Do this stretch 5 or 6 times a week. Short-Arc Knee Extensions In the same starting position as the straight-leg raises, put a ball (about the size of a basketball) under your left knee so that your leg is bent. Slowly straighten your leg. Hold, then slowly lower. Repeat with your right leg. Exercises To Avoid A few of the following exercises can be done safely if you have chronic knee problems; they're on this list because they're more likely to be done improperly. The exercises above are safer, while still giving you similar results. •Full-arc knee extensions •Lunges •Deep squats •Hurdler's stretches.

Frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis is a condition in which shoulder movements get progressively decreased, it is commonly associated with diabetes although association with other conditions is also known. Treatment includes intensive physical therapy, short course anti inflammatory medications according to one' s suitability and maintenance of calcium/ vitamin d metabolism. Orthopedist,
Sometime my legs are paining. What should i do?
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

Suffering from weakness and knee pain. Please advise.

Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS)
General Surgeon,
Suffering from weakness and knee pain. Please advise.
At your age the muscles start becoming weak, that results in instability of joints, resulting in pain. I suggest you learn yoga from a qualified trainer. It will give strength to your muscles. Along with yoga daily fast walking for 45 minutes will help you to remain healthy for rest of your life. Also you must increase intake of protein and calcium in your diet.
