Actually I'm facing a problem during sex. Sometimes I last for a long tym but sometimes I ejaculate very early. What could be reason.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Hello- ejaculation depends upon various factors like stress level, sleep, proper diet and temperature (climatic conditions). >cooler temperature, stress free mind, proper sleep and proper diet enhances ejaculation timing, and vice versa.

I am 35 years old. I am suffering from thyroid. How can I reduce weight? Can you suggest some medicine also?

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology
Endocrinologist, Hubli-Dharwad
lybrate-user, If you are having hypothyroid then it is essential to control it effectively with TSH maintained between 3 to 4 mU/L. If not then efforts to reduce weight will not succeed. So first check the TSH level. You have grade 3 obesity, with 41.79 kgs/M2 BMI. This is a very tough situation. Your ideal body weight should be 60 kgs. So your diet should be based on that weight. Plus you will have to do a considerable amount of exercise daily. Dietary restrictions have to be very strictly adhered to. Caloric intake has to drop down to around 100 to 1200 calories per day. This can be very tough to sustain. Thanks.

He is getting married on 18th of this month n his wife's period date is from 15th so he want to postponed it to 20th! Is it possible?

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello, Its better not to postpone the period as it will affect your honeymoon days. If the girl date is on 15 it is possible that she gets free on 18/19 from menses.

Iam a cricket player I needed fitness bit I don't know what type of diet to take fr fitness and my height is of 5.11 and weight of 80kg.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
To remain healthy nd fit you should follow 3 steps in your life 1.BALANCED DIET 2.EARLY MORNING BRISK MORNING WALK for 30 minutes and 10 minutes evening walk after Dinner 3.DRINK 6-8 Glasse of water daily. As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. 2. Proteins: Essential for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. Hence, a person requires protein intake every day. When the body does not get enough carbohydrates to fuel itself, it falls back on protein bank. That is why people who follow starvation diets or go on fasting lose muscle tissue. (a) Major protein sources: Egg white(white portion), Milk, Soybeans/Soymilk, Fish, Cheese, Tofu. (b) Other protein sources: Beans with wheat, Nuts, Curd, Yogurt (Dahi). 3. Fats: Required and healthy when taken in small amounts. Excess fat leads to weight gain, increase in bad cholesterol (LDL) and heartproblems (a) Major fats sources: Egg yolk (Yellow portion), Avocados, Whole Milk, Butter, Cheese, Nuts. (b) Other fats sources: Corn, Vegetable/Olive oil, Biscuits, Flaxseeds(San Beej). 4. Vitamins and Minerals: Critical for normal functioning of organs and processes within our body. They do not provide energy directly but work behind the scenes to break down food into energy. 5. Fiber: It helps retain water and in making our stools softer to avoid constipation. Intake should be 25 to 35 grams a day. 6. Calories: A measure of how much energy food or drink contains. On an average, a man needs around 2,000 calories a day and a woman 1700 calories a day to maintain his weight and good health. Number varies by person depending upon weight, age and how active the lifestyle is. 7. Guideline: Each day have 3 main meals, 2 snacks, 5 pieces of fruit and at least 1 glass of milk. 4. BRAMARI PRANAYAM or Bee Breath 1.Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. 2.Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril. 3.Breath in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last. .4.Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled. .5.Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils. 6.Repeat twenty times.starting from 5 times

Being packed with protein, calcium, and fats, cheese helps obtain healthy weight gain. One serving of cheese can give enough calories to your body. It really tastes delicious. Choose cottage cheese as it contains high quality protein ‘casein’, which takes time to digest, and thus, results in weight gain. For quick result, eat it before bed time.

I am 40yrs old female, married, my daughter who was in 12th got failed, am so down. She is rewriting her exam am scared will she do it better. I don't get sleep at night. I don't know what to do?

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
It seems like your daughter? s failure is affecting you more than your daughter. You may inadvertently pass on your nervousness to her and make it worse. You must give her hope and therefore you must have more faith and trust in her abilities. You must help her identify what went wrong in her last attempt and correct those errors this time around. Her study methods may be in question. If so, explore better methods even now. If she is of a nervous disposition, she is likely to mess it up again. Help her with some deep breathing and yoga exercises to calm her down. Teach her how to handle her feelings, especially that of fear, and she will do a lot better. Never fault a child for trying and being responsible. Make her and you understand that failure is a stepping-stone to success. Every great man has had his ups and downs but they picked themselves up and did better when down. Even if she has to repeat her class, it is good for her, if she has learned her lessons. Get her tutoring for the weak subjects and whatever other support she needs. A multivitamin and multi-mineral along with a calcium tablet daily will help her to deal with stress well. Get your husband involved too, especially if he is of a calmer disposition. My take on education: if her character is good, then that is all that matters. Acknowledge that about her: that is the best result one should look for.

Doctor of Naturopathy & Natural Medicines, DM - Clinical Haematology

These all are symptoms of acidity and hyper acidity and could also turn into ulcer for peptic ulcer. The natural remedy which I am giving you will cure you permanently but the condition is you have to continue it for 3 months regularly. You have to consume cumin (jeera) in morning empty stomach, eat half table spoon jeera in morning and keep chewing it as long as you can and then drink 2 or 3 sips luke warm water. Jeera is the best natural medicine to cure all problems related to stomach and acidity it will help you magically if you consume it for 3 months regularly natural medicine has no side effect apart from this after eating jera walk for 60 to 90 minutes regularly in morning 3rd very important thing is whenever you eat meals do not drink water for 90 minutes give a gap of 90 minutes then drink water and once you have drunk water do not eat anything for 45 minutes because of drinking water with or right after meals causes huge amount of acid secretion in stomach which causes problems like chest pain acidity hyperacidity back pain, tightness in chest tightness in stomach.

Keratoconus is a progressive, non inflammatory, corneal disease which occurs when clear, dome-shaped cornea of the eye thins and gradually bulges outward into a cone shape. Homoeopathy can do something for you in a safe and natural way of cure without side effects. A complete case history is required for the prescription. So you should consult a good Homoeopath.
