are you currently taking any medication? do prevent a sore throat infection, a sore throat (pharyngitis) is normally a symptom of a bacterial or viral infection, such as the common cold. In around a third of cases, no cause for the sore throat can be found. If you have a sore throat, you may also have: swollen tonsils (tonsillitis), enlarged and tender glands in your neck, discomfort when swallowing, I am a general physician who will prescribe you an appropriate treatment plan for your case, do reply back for medication prescriptions. You may be suffering from chronic rhinosinusitis, consult a nearby ent specialist for ent examination, you may start tab smari-m once a day at bedtime with syrup mucolite 5ml twice a day and nasal steam inhalation twice a day for 5 days. I'm 18 years old. I'm suffering from sinusitis from last 4 years. What should I do now?

Hi If you are  having a sinus  problems for so long we have to rule out Allergic  Rhinitis and sinusitis. Get a CT PNS done. Or if you have one  done share the CT. Long term lifestyle  changes with gradually tapering medication  helps to tackle chronic sinus problems. Start taking Steam inhalation twice a day. *For chronic sinusitis you will need to take a long term course of antibiotics  together  with Nasal sprays. *You will need to avoid dusty environment  and dust mites, animal dander etc. Medical  management  is done for 3 months and then patients  condition is reviewed. Intermittent treatment is not beneficial  in the long run. If polyps ate present and medical management doesn't cure Endoscopic surgery may be needed Hope this helps.

Frequent/ continuous cough cold may be because of many reasons like: 1. Any ent problem like dns polyp sinusitis 2. Low immunity 3.
