Sir/madam my father is 50 years old he is a transplant patient his weight is 80 + and he's facing a problem from a very long time that he has pain in his legs and I feel that medicines and ointments didn't work well for him is there anything I can do for him by which he can be freed from his leg pain.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

My son born on April 1 2016. Now I am preferring lactogen for feeding. My question is -when to take solid food for my son and what to give. Please send some foods, fruits, vegetables, non vegetarians. After completing 6 month what milk can I prefer?

You should give weaning foods to your baby after the age of 6 months. You can give all home made foods, veg and non veg soups, fruit juices. Avoid sugar products.

Treatment is laser hair reduction by using diode technology. Multiple sessions are needed (6-8) depending upon growth. Unwanted hair is a sign of hormonal imbalance. Few blood test might be needed and evaluated. Also usg (pelvis) is required to rule out pcod.

Please increase the intake of fibre in your meals by having salad with every meal, having fresh fruits daily, eating sprouts, oats etc. Increase the intake of water, consuming at least 2 l or 8 glasses of water in a day. Exercise regularly. Take softovac powder 2 tsf daily at bedtime.

Avoid masturbation and have a healthy diet. A. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. I am using saheli pill I want to know that I have to take it continue or stop after completed pack since menses.

You should take pills of the first pack very regularly starting frm the 5th day of menses. On completing 21 days, you will get withdrawal bleeding. Again new pack is to be startes exactly after 1 wk gap.

This is an idea dating back to the 17th century which was put about to try and dissuade young people from having sex before marriage. There is no scientific evidence to support it. It is true that high levels of androgens (male sex hormones) can be related to severe cases of acne but hormone levels are not affected by masturbation and sex.

Hi, height growth can only take place in natural way, it depends on your genetics, if everyone is tall in your family then you will grow height, or else their is very minimal chance of height growth. But you can always try till age reachec 25 (cause at 25 bone plate fuses and which lead to restriction bone growth in length, HGH are also not very effective, it can only lead to more complication, but untill you reach age 25 you can try yoga, stretching exercises, good healthy diet, sleep 8-9 hours properly and stay patience.
