Since it is a vegetable like any other vegetables that we consume, it will get digested and nourish the body. It contains more of iron and other vitamins (along with fibre) and so helps the body to get nutrition. It is important to understand that we need to eat a balanced diet to get all the essential nutrients.

Hello sir, Yes, knee pain is painful and uncomfortable. It is one of the common ailment that affects everyone. It is good to have pirates exercise? Is there any harmful effects of it on old persons?

Hye Thanks for the query. You can do any exercise in order to stay fit. It is important that you enjoy it and are able to manage it at least 3-5 times a week depending on how strenuous your work out is. You need to see that you move into any exercise gradually. If you are a newcomer to exercise, try to train your body first with basic exercises like cardiovascular involving brisk walking, swimming. Get your basic parameters like blood pressure, blood sugar, lipid profile and bone density checked. You can do yoga, strength training, aerobics, swimming,  jogging or even indulge in sports like football or an enjoyable activity like dance. The idea is to stay physically active. Lastly the technique of any exercise be it the seemingly simple brisk walking  is also important. And don't forget stretching and warm up before any exercise in order to avoid injuries.

Sir my father was suffering from paralyses since 4 year ago. He is paralyses in right side I will take him nagpur many times and other place &consult doctor as well as baba pandit but I not satisfy. He is now still paralyses and not able to talk and move his right hand and not able to proper walk with right lag. Paralysis occurs due to stroke in brain. Stroke means sudden loss of blood supply to a part of brain, which can occur due to clotting of blood inside blood vessel or due to leakage of blood from blood vessel. As a result that part of brain dies. With passage of time gradually neurons (nerve cells) from other areas of brain start taking the responsibility to work for dead part. But it is a very slow process that may take many years or decades. Recovery occurs by its own and there is no operation/magical medicines/therapy to cure him immediately you have to keep patience. Just continue his antihypertensive/antithrombotic medicines and physiotherapy. I wish your father all the best.

You may undertake following steps to get a glowing skin and a brighter complexion: Use sun protection. You've probably heard it plenty of times before, but prevention is easier than the cure. Wear sunscreen, a hat, sensible clothes now, to avoid poor skin when you're older. Wash your face and body every day. Wash your face once when you wake up and once at night before you go to bed. Use a gentle soap that's different from the bar soap you use in the shower (they're too harsh for your face). Wash your body at least once a day. Use acne medication. This applies for any guy who gets blemishes, severe or no, who wants them gone. A lot of people have found success in products that have salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide. A good routine is using a good soap that has at least two percent salicylic acid and then a topical lotion like Oxy 10 that has five to ten percent benzoyl peroxide. Start by using it just in the morning and work up to twice a day on your face, shoulders, back, and wherever else you tend to break out. Moisturize. When looking for a face moisturizer, make sure it says noncomedogenic somewhere on the package or bottle. This means it will not block your pores and cause break outs. For skin you are not worried about getting blemishes on, regular lotion is fine. For knees and elbows, body butter is preferred. Exfoliate. At least once a week, lather up a loofah or scrub and slough off the dead skin cells to reveal smoother, softer skin. For your body, every other day exfoliation is doable. For your face, try to keep exfoliation to two times at the most. Make sure you moisturize after you exfoliate. Eat well. Fruits, veggies, you know the drill. Meat is very important, you can still have your steak, but don't go overboard. Try to follow the food pyramid. Also, a multi vitamin at the end of the day is a great idea. Exercise. Play footy, cricket, netball, whatever! Go for a walk or a bike ride. Do it for 30 minutes a day. Drink water. At least 8 glasses a day of water. You need to keep your body hydrated.

Hye, if done in the right manner and technique and as a part of a right exercise routine, it's not an issue. Just alone in isolation doing dumbell flies or if you are a new comer to workout and trying to lift weights could injure you.

For vaginal irritation, showed to gyane and she wrote a medicine" augmenting 625 mg" which she said to take after urine test. I don't think I have a urine infection, can this medicine be taken for normal vaginal irritation.

Hi! If your hair is thin, damaged, dry or brittle some simple changes into your daily nutrition needs & hair care can give you thick, bouncy and shiny hair. While your hair type mostly depends on your genetics, stress, hormonal imbalance and poor diet have a great influence on your hair healthy and appearance. Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Include skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. You have not mentioned duration of illness. Apparently you are suffering from gastro oesophageal reflux disease due excessive acid formation in stomach. Stop tea, coffee, smoking. Alcohol intake. Consult a gastroenterologist.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3months. Revert.

Following are the criteria to diagnose: 1) normal: fbs 70 to 110 mg, pp <140 mg / 100 ml & hba1c% <5.9. 2) pre-diabetes: fbs 108 to 125 mg, pp 141 to 199 mg & hba1c%<6.4. 3) diabetes: fbs! 26 mg and above, pp 200 mg and above, hba1c%6.5 and above. So based on your current fbs, pp levels and hba1c% you can decide whether you have diabetes. As regards improving health you need to take a healthy diet, exercise regularly foor over an hour daiky and maintain weight with in normal limit. Plus avoid alcohol and smoking. Thanks.
