Pregnancy depends on a nos of factors like semen results of husband, timing of intercourse, Tubal patency, uterine anatomy and ovulation of female apart from general health factors. Therefore if you are having problems in getting pregnant it is important you get these factors assessed.

For blood pressure: walk for 45 minutes daily, switch to sendha namak and strictly avoid iodized salt. Iodized salt is banned in 20 countries because it is one of the main reason of impotency and abnormal blood pressure. Iodine is mainly deprived from all pulses and vegetables grown beneath earth like onion, potato, radish, carrot, yams. In low bp drink luke warm water with 1/2 tea spoon sendha namak in morning (1 month. In high bp bath with salt water (sendha namak). Put 25 grams sendha namak in 1 bucket water and bath with it, do not put that water on your head. After the bath do not wipe your body with towel for 15 minutes, within 15-20 days high bp will be ok. For knee pain: take 5 to 7 leaves of parizaad tree (harsinghaar) grind it into a paste, now put that paste to boil in 100ml water and keep boiling until the water comes to half, now drink that like a tea for not more than 15 days. Never consume refined or double refined oil. Mustard, olive or cow ghee only. For swelling please consult with more details.

Ou may apply listerin on your face for one hour daily for five days and wash it. Take plenty if liquids, salad fruits etc. Avoid spicy non veg. Oily food.

Since five years I had problem of gout and creatine level is 1.9 and I had done angioplasty since three years back. Gout attack frequently. Pl advise me.

Hello lybrate user, gout is a condition which results from sudden changes in uric acid levels in the body or persistent raised uric acid levels. One way to suppress the attacks is to treat the symptoms only through anti-inflamatory agents but joint damage can continue from this. Other way is to prevent an attack of gout by treating the cause itself. I would suggest you to see a rheumatologist and enquire about drugs which can decrease the formation of uric acid in the body or drugs which can increase its clearance from the body through urine. There are some other precautions to be taken with both the drugs like maintaining adequate hydration, etc and the rheumatologist should be able to explain it to you. There are also some lifestyle modifications like regular exercise but avoiding heavy exhaustion, avoiding certain foods, etc. Kindly consult a rheumatologist to know about the same. Hope this helps.

I'm 26 5'1" 69 kgs. I've controlled my food very nicely but still my weight is not being controlled. I don't do gym or running yoga any sports. I want to control my weight & want to reduce 10 kgs. Is it possible to do without doing those physical activities ?

Reduce intake of carbohydrates and fats, increase intake of fluids and proteins, and go for a walk of at least 45 min a day 5 days a week. There is no easy way to reduce weight.

Ovulation is normally two weeks before your coming cycles and in this case if cycle gets delayed then your calculation for ovulation goes wrong other method is every morning when you get up take your body temperature with a thermometer at a fixed time at the time of ovulation you will find a dip in the body temperature

Cold weather makes skin dry. It is normal. In twenties, skin is not going to be baby soft anymore and you need to care more about it. Always moisturise with a nice cream after washing face whenever skin feels rough, moisturising is the key.

I am having a burnt left hand. It got burnt when I was of three years old. Its nt about the arteries its about the retracted scar tissue post burns. The scar tissue can be released and your hand can be made straight with ex-fixator f/b skin grafting. Range of motion at wrist joint might get compromised at times consult an orthopaedician or a plastic surgeon.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Remember, there's no magic bullet for weight loss. The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. Choose a variety of healthy foods — such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein — and include physical activity in your daily routine. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. (Slow and steady weight loss is good. As we all know when you lose weight fast, it seems to jump right back on, whereas when you lose weight steadily over time because of changes to your diet and balancing your hormones out it tends to stay off.) If you have to still continue your work then you need to use lumbo sacral belt to avoid further strain on the back and try to avoid heavy weight lift and long drives and if you have sitting job then don't forget to take a few micro breaks every 20-30 min. And apply hot water bag at your back at bed time so you may have a no pain and get sound sleep.

Can anybody please advise me how to reduce weight as i'm not so heavy weight and not too slim but only on tummy part. Im now 26 years, also I dnt have enough time to go for gym for workout. I have wheezing problem by born. I'm working in corporate company and should sit for 9 hrs and I will travel 60 kms in bike daily to office. Please advise some tips to reduce my weight.

To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Do not starve yourself. Eat small meals 5 times a day. 6. Have barley soup in dinner and avoid rice at night. 7. Drink lots of water daily.
