Hi, I am not getting  sleep at late night, also when I get up in morning my head starts paining. Please advise.
1.Have a glass of whole milk (without the cream removed) with green cardamom powder before going to bed. 2.Have 1 teaspoon of licorice root powder with a glass of milk on an empty stomach in the morning. 3.Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. 4.Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. 5. Take 2 tab stresswin at night with milk for 5 days ONLY. 6. Take light meals at night and drink 10-15 glasses of water daily. 7.Stop using gadgets 1 hr before sleep.switch off lights at 11:00 pm. 8. Sleep in total dark room. 9.Add some fresh rose petals in a cup of boiling water. Keep it aside till it is lukewarm. Add ½ teaspoonful of sugar to it and have this twice a day. This is a good drink to uplift mood. 10.Do yoga daily 30 min n shavasana daily 5 min before sleep.... Do deep breathing for 2-3 min after every 1 hr....

I am a 25 years old and I got married in 20 years. I gave birth to two babies. When am sex with my husband in my vagina it produces too much of watery substances and producing some sounds. Its due to stomach problem. Are you taking spicy and outside food more? if yes stop these its the reason. Take simple food. Drink 8-10 glass of water daily. You can take slight cold milk if more acidity. It will give you some relief instantly. Avoid outside food and cold drinks. Eat fresh fruits or you can take fresh juice. Avoid too much tea and coffee. Start regular walk in morning and after having dinner. Hope all these will help you. Give me feed back.

No, it is called water retention, take less salt and more potassium rich fruits like oranges, lemon water to increase the urine output, retention will not be felt, avoid fats also as fats too require lots of water to get digested and some water is retained by the body. Reduce weight by good diet + exercise, it will indirectly help you to remain healthy with no water retention and no swellings.

Hello lybrate-user, in general all dry fruits are good for skin. Nuts specifically-almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios give glow to the skin. However, you should not over eat dry fruits or nuts as they can cause diarrhea and also pimples. You should eat 6-7 pieces of nuts and 2-3 pieces of dry fruits.

To increase your digestion power and get relief from gas problem you can follow these methods : • Take one teaspoon of ajwain seeds ( carom )and 1/2 teaspoon of jeera grind it and make powder of it add 1/3 rd of teaspoon of this in your food you eat . • Take pudina ( mint) and coriander leaves grind it and eat one teaspoon of it daily 2 times in a day . Fast food contains lot of fat and in blood there is increased LDL cholesterol levels which after few years get accumulated on a single vessel narrowing the flow of blood and can cause myocardial infarction and so better to exercise regularly

ऐसे करें सर्वांगासन
योगा मैट बिछाकर पीठ के बल लेट जाएं। अब दोनो पैरों को मिलाएं। धीरे-धीरे सांस लेते हुए पैरों को ऊपर की ओर उठाएं। ध्यान रहें इस क्रिया को करते समय पैर एक दम सीधे रहें। अब छाती के भाग को ऊपर की ओर उठाएं। इसके बाद अपने दोनों हाथों को कोहनी से मोड़कर कमर पर रखें। ध्यान रहे इस अवस्था में पूरे शरीर का भार कंधों पर रहना चाहिए। इस स्थिति में पैरों को तान कर ऊपर की ओर रखें। इसके बाद इस स्थिति में कुछ देर रुकें। फिर शरीर को ढीला छोड़कर घुटनों को मोड़कर धीरे-धीरे शरीर को हथेलियों के सहारे से सामान्य स्थिति में ले आएं। इसके बाद कुछ देर आराम करने के बाद आप इस क्रिया को तीन बार करें।
 

सावधानियां
-अगर आपको हाई ब्लड प्रेशर, हृदय रोग, कान से जुड़ी समस्या, स्पांडिलाइटिस या स्लिप डिस्क की समस्या है, तो ये आसन न करें।
- इस योग आसन को पूर्व या पश्चिम की ओर मुंह करके ना करें। उत्तर की ओर मुंह करके ये आसन करना ज्यादा फायदेमंद है।
 

काम के टिप्स
अगर आपको अपना शरीर उठाने में कठिनाई हो रही है, तो तकिया रखकर आप इसका अभ्यास कर सकते हैं।

Hi! 1. You need to use a good sunblock properly 2. Get blood levels of Vit B12 done. A deficiency will make skin more sensitive to sunlight. The best way to get your skin glowing is to increase oxygen circulation in your body with the help of exercises, yoga. Taking break between hectic work schedule and splashing your face with cold water 2-3 times a day is helpful. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Have a balanced diet, eat more iron and zinc containing foods like dates, nuts and dry fruits. Include Skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are important nutrients for great skin. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet.

Easy Tips to Deal with Abdominal Laparoscopy

Abdominal Laparoscopy is a surgical diagnostic procedure, which is used to examine the organs inside the abdomen. It is an invasive procedure, but only small incisions are made.
The procedure is usually done in the hospital and the patient is given general anaesthesia to make the procedure pain free. The laparoscope is inserted through an incision in the abdominal wall. As it moves along, the image of the inside of your abdomen is then seen on the monitor. After the exam, laparoscope and instruments are removed and the cuts are closed. Laparoscopy is usually done as an outpatient procedure. This means that you will be able to go home the same day.

Why Is laparoscopy performed?
Laparoscopy is often used to identify the source of abdominal pain. It is usually performed when x-rays or ultrasound are unable to determine the root cause of the problem. Laparoscopy allows your doctor to see inside your body in real time and helps to diagnose or help discover what the abdominal problem is.

Tips to deal with laparoscopic surgery

Before Surgery

  1. The first and the foremost thing is to prepare yourself for the surgery by watching some videos and going through some blogs on it as doing so will help you clear your doubts
  2. Do not eat or drink anything 8 hours before the procedure
  3. Make sure someone accompanies you on the day of the surgery
  4. Fix your Pre Op appointment to ask any questions or address any concerns regarding the surgery, anaesthesia, etc
  5. Shave the area where the surgery will be performed. This will substantially reduce itchiness
  6. Lastly, prepare your hospital bag and discuss it with the person who is going to accompany you so that he/she knows what all you packed

After Surgery

  1. Don’t lie down in bed all the time. Keep yourself active by moving every two hours as it promotes healing and helps eliminate gas pain
  2. Wear comfortable clothing
  3. Do not take bath for a week. However, you can take a shower 24 hours post surgery
  4. Drink at least 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day to prevent constipation. If constipated, take a stool softener.
  5. While sneezing or coughing, hold a pillow against your stomach to lessen the pain
  6. Roll onto your side and sit up using your arms for support and then stand up
  7. Don’t drive for two weeks
  8. Refrain yourself from intercourse, douching, and swimming
  9. Make sure to visit your doctor 2 to 3 weeks post surgery to make sure your wounds are healing

It might take some time for the wounds to heal, but in case of any prolonged pain do remember to consult doctor immediately.
