I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

Do regular exercises for warmup. Do stretching after playing. You might be suffering from dehydration and lack of nutrition. You must keep drinking water during practice. Drink 3 glass water 90 minutes before starting practice. Then drink water regularly during practice. If possible, measure your weight before you start practice and after you finish practice. If you have lost weight in that time, means you are dehydrated. Drink double the weight loss. For eg if 200 gm weight is reduced, drink 400 ml water or energy drink. 1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief as and when required upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2. Cold sponging sos 3. Drink plenty of water 4. Take rest 5. If no relief do blood examination like esr, cbc, widal/ typhidot test, blood for mp/malaria antigen, dengue antigen (ns1) test, urine re/me after consulting physician and follow the advice and treatment.

Sometimes I am getting substernal pain exactly below the sternum while sleeping and mostly occurs at night. And sometimes at morning when I woke up only little amount of blood is seen in the mucus. Looks like acidity. Try taking The pan DSR empty stomach for five days. Also avoid tea coffee spices strictly. Drink lot of water and eat more of non citric fruits. If pain or other symptoms persist you need to consult personally.

When is it safe to have sex after having a baby? Your wife may be physically able to have sex as soon as 2 weeks after delivery if she had only a small tear or none at all, but most women wait at least 4 to 6 weeks, or until they get the fitness from their health care provider. It all depends on the type of delivery your wife had, how difficult it was, how many stitches she needed, and any complications of pregnancy. There might be a big difference between when a woman is physically able to have sex versus when she feel emotionally ready, and actually want to have sex. The postpartum period is a time of huge changes in her body, her hormones, her lifestyle, her sense of self and her relationship. Lack of sleep, the constant demands of the newborn, her changing body image, and any anxieties about motherhood can have a negative impact on her sexual desire. The right time for you to resume intimacy is, therefore, a very individual decision. Some couples get back to their previous level of sexual activity with few problems, but for most couples this requires some time, adjustment and communication. Even if sex is the last thing on your mind, it is important to nurture the bond with your partner in non-sexual ways to maintain your relationship as a couple, not just as parents. 1.Do steam inhalation 2-3 times daily with Karvol plus inhalant capsule 2.Put Otrivin nasal drop one tablet thrice daily 3. take a course of antibiotic after consulting doctor 4..If you are suffering from chronic sinusitis, take plain Xray PNs/CT scan of PNS or nasal endoscopy after consulting ENT specialist to confirm diagnosis 5.If you are having recurrent symptoms, you may have to undergo endoscopic sinus surgery

Severe pain involving one side of face may be due to Neuralgia or if associated with skin itching, eruptions ,Watering of eyes (if involved) may be due to herpes Zoster, Gen. bodyach, joint aches along with this requirs physical check up & investigation to diagnose exact cause. For symptomatic relief you can take Tab. paracetamol 650 mg stat. further treatment depeds on disease.

Massage Therapy for Pain - An In-Depth Analysis!

There are many ways to treat pain and this includes acupuncture, several natural remedies, technological procedures and surgery. Among the different approaches of treating pain, massage therapy is an effective method.

  1. Massage therapy is one of the earliest therapeutic processes for relieving pain for a long time as it provides ideal relief and performs recovery functions as well. In the modern day, massage therapy is a popular pain relieving remedy, which is utilized by people all over the world.
  2. Massage therapy involves manipulation of the tissues, which is performed by special therapists. There are various types of massage therapies, which incorporate different techniques and procedures.
  3. Long term massage therapy is not very expensive and has no side effects on the body. With the help of massaging, there is an increased lymph flow, improved blood circulation and several positive effects on the immune system. Local biochemical changes occur, neural activity gets enhanced and all these mean that pain is reduced.

Conflicting views

The current studies on massage therapy are quite conflicting and there are negative views regarding the effects of massage therapy to provide pain relief. Massage therapies are successful in treating several cases of lower-back pain. However, many experts consider massage therapy to be a relaxation technique and not a proper treatment procedure.

They say that massage provides relief to pain, but physical therapy, exercise and medicines are far superior in providing pain relief than massage therapy. Massage provides relief to neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. However, it is considered that this relief is only temporary and not consistent enough. A single session of massage therapy does not really provide a long-term relief from pain. For better and lasting results, massage therapy should be undertaken regularly.

Multidisciplinary treatment

Massage alone will never provide ideal relief from any kind of pain and a multidisciplinary approach should be taken for pain relief treatment, where massage therapy would be one of the elements. For ideal pain relief, you should practice other measures such as physical therapy, behavioral health care, acupuncture, regular exercise and use massage therapy as a complementary relief method.

Massage therapy can never be the main treatment procedure for treating pain and it is an accompanying treatment method which you should practice along with major treatment procedures. Massage therapy combined with other therapies will provide you effective pain relief.

Massage therapy for pain provides effective temporary relief from pain. It should be performed by a trained massage therapist and for good results must be performed every day. However, massage therapy is not a primary treatment measure and should be a part of a multidisciplinary approach for pain relief.

This may be duebto viral infection. Do regular warm gargle. Have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune which prevent infection. Things will be alright.

My father having leg pain due to inflammation of bone near toe.On consultancy it is due to excess of uric acid presence in body.Please consult the remedy as due to this father finding difficulty in walking also unable to wear footwear due to swelling because of enlagment of bone at foot.Please also guide can it be operated .

At this point your father need not undergo operation. You try Xyluric 100mg tds till swelling settles and then take if necessary. Inugesic can be tried with food. Avoid fish and high uric acid containing foods/ purine derivatives/ alcohol/ non-vegetarian/red wine/ Take little saffron with curds daily and see.

Treating leg pain at home

You can usually treat leg pain at home if it's due to cramps or a minor injury. Try the following home treatments when your leg pain is from muscle cramps, fatigue, or overuse:

  • Rest your leg as much as possible, and elevate your leg with pillows.
  • Take an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, to help ease discomfort as your leg heals.
  • Wear compression socks or stockings with support.
  • Apply ice

Apply ice to the affected area of your leg at least four times per day. You can do this even more frequently in the first few days after the pain appears. You can leave the ice on for as long as 15 minutes at a time.

Take a warm bath and stretch

Take a warm bath, and then gently stretch your muscles. If you have pain in the lower part of your leg, try pointing and straightening your toes when sitting or standing. If you have pain in the upper part of your leg, try to bend over and touch your toes. You can do this while sitting on the ground or standing up. Ease into each stretch, holding each position for five to 10 seconds. Stop stretching if your pain gets worse.

Preventing leg pain

You should always take time to stretch your muscles before and after exercising to prevent leg pain due to physical activity. It's also helpful to eat foods that are high in potassium, such as bananas and chicken, to help prevent injuries of the leg muscles and tendons.

You can help prevent medical conditions that may cause nerve damage in the legs by doing the following:

  • Exercise for 30 minutes per day, five days per week.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Avoid smoking.
  • Monitor your cholesterol and blood pressure, and take steps to keep them under control.
  • Limit your alcohol consumption to one drink per day if you're a woman or two drinks per day if you're a man.
  • Talk to your doctor about other ways to prevent the specific cause of your leg pain.

Our body is made such that a balance is necessary. Too much or too little exercises can cause pain in muscles especially leg and back. Tight hamstrings and calf muscles can cause pain at the back of the leg. Also it could be due to back issues like disc and joint problems etc, where pain is referred to legs because of low back. When nerve is irritated, it can cause sharp leg pain as in sciatica. Sometimes leg pain is due to vein problem.

Simple ways to control leg pain.

Get up and stretch the leg muscles.
Learn strengthening exercises to build muscle strength.
Do moderate exercise and walk daily for 30 minutes.
Keep good posture when sitting for prolong periods.
Join a community yoga or stretching class.

Check with doctor immediately to find root cause, If pain persists for more than few days or you notice any numbness or tingling.
