Hi You are still growing so don't worry too much about weight. Aim for fitness and strength. Do an hour of exercise/ games daily. Take more proteins. Take more milk products and almonds peanuts etc. Aim to be healthy and fit. Don't compare with others. Be healthy be strong.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Hamstring Stretch Lie on your back with your left leg flat on the floor. Loop a towel or rope around your right foot and pull your leg as far as comfortable toward your chest, while keeping a slight bend at the knee. Keep your back pressed to the floor throughout the stretch. Hold for 10 to 30 seconds and then release. Repeat 3 or 4 times with each leg. Do this stretch 5 or 6 times a week. Short-Arc Knee Extensions In the same starting position as the straight-leg raises, put a ball (about the size of a basketball) under your left knee so that your leg is bent. Slowly straighten your leg. Hold, then slowly lower. Repeat with your right leg. Exercises To Avoid A few of the following exercises can be done safely if you have chronic knee problems; they're on this list because they're more likely to be done improperly. The exercises above are safer, while still giving you similar results. •Full-arc knee extensions •Lunges •Deep squats •Hurdler's stretches.

Dear lybrate user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that you are having gastritis. The first and foremost treatment of which is life style modification like regular exercise, diet modification as advised and liberal fluid intake. Try having small frequent meals, avoid tea/coffee/carbonated drinks, avoid chilli, stop smoking and consuming alcohol if you do. Hope this solves your query. Try with these life style measures first. Gram Flour (Besan) - How it is Beneficial for Your Skin?

We all crave for that glowing, healthy skin which is easy to maintain and are willing to shell our exorbitant amounts to achieve the same. However, we need not look far. There are some magical products right in our homes which can do the trick for us, without spending time or money. Besan (gram flour) is one such wonder.

Read on to know some of its most significant benefits.

  1. Anti-tanning effects: If you have just come back from a holiday and are wondering how to get rid of the tan from your face, then try this. Mix a couple of spoons of besan with some lime, yogurt and a pinch of turmeric. Leave it on your face for a while and wash it off to see your skin become radiant and glowing. In about a week’s time, your tan would be a thing of the past.
  2. Decrease oily feeling: For people with oily or greasy skin, a simple face pack made by mixing gram flour with raw milk or yogurt applied for 20 minutes will do wonders. It can even be mixed with rose water and honey and used as a face pack. The residues and the dirt that oily skin tends to accumulate would be gone.
  3. Anti-acne agent: While acne continues to remain one of the dreadful skin issues, the besan comes to the rescue here too. Mixed with sandalwood powder, milk and turmeric powder, besan can be used to fight pimples. Apply it on the skin and dry it off once it dries.
  4. Anti-sagging effect: Whip up an egg white and add gram flour to it and apply it on the face for about 30 minutes. The skin will be firmer and will have a youthful glow.
  5. For instant fairness: When you have a function coming up or have to go out and do not have time for a visit to the parlour, head to the kitchen. Take the besan flour and add orange peel powder if available or just add milk cream. Use circular motions to help it soak into the skin. When you wash it after about 20 to 30 minutes, the skin will be soft, supple, and flowing.
  6. Controls unwanted hair: With regular use, besan mixed with fenugreek seeds (methi) or sandalwood powder, lime, and milk cream helps control unwanted hair growth.

For those who remember, besan is the only cleaning agent used, which leaves them with soft, supple skin which is free of oiliness and unwanted hair. So, what are you waiting for? You should take protein rich food especially soyabean and paneer. No fatty diet. Lot of salad and fruits esp. Juicy fruits. Aerobic exercises. And brisk walking.

I am 5'10" tall weigh 85kgs. I have uric acid issue with level of 8+.I eat veggie food 90-95% very rarely chicken. Hardly get time to workout. Need remedy in food, mainly to make smoothies at home

Uric acid is byproduct of protein which needs discarding from the body but in the absence of vit C this accumulates in fine joints of fingers in the form of crystals. You have to take higher doses of Vit C as supplements.

If you have investigated properly and it is TB only then go ahead with the same treatment - four drugs - for two months and then two drugs for seven months. As her disease heals she will get healthy.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am 37 yrs, female, I have severe knee pain and got the xray taken. It says osteophytes. What is solution?

Show x rays of both knee joints this could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don't ignore.

Ulracet sos for pain in joints. Doctor may be give corticosteroid oral or inject direct in to joint.

Hello! small n frequent healthy meals with some activity. You can take good quality protein in your diet. Like- milk n products, egg, chicken, dal & products. N visit a dietitian. It will help. The 1st thing you need to take care of is good quality protein, complex carbohydrate n good quality fat (almond, walnut, peanut, flex seed, chia seed etc.) stay away from preserved food, ready to eat foods, deep fried food, excess sugar n sweet items. N what you are taking before n after work out is also matter. Aim for around 40-50g carbs and 20-30g protein. This stabilises your hormonal system to enable tissue regeneration and keeps blood sugar stable.

Dear lybrateuser, - Diet should be a well balanced one containing foods from all food groups, carbs, proteins, fats, vitamins & minerals have more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy ones, whole grains like wholewheat, brown rice, oats, corn, milk & milk products such as cheese, paneer, yogurt, butter milk, healthy fats as in olive oil, canola oil, avocado, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts, beans, sprouts, soya products, tofu - include a variety of items in your meals to get most of the nutrients, have more of fruits & vegetables .

Hi Lybrate user, Thanks for your question. Healthy diet can mean different things to different people and also depends on what you want- are you trying to lose weight, maintain weight or gain weight or just for good health. General guidelines to follow for healthy diet: 1. Follow regular meal timings. This will help you to maintain your blood sugar levels. 2. Eat complex carbs like whole wheat, millets like ragi, bajra, finger millets, Italian millet which are good sources of many nutrients like minerals, vitamins and fibre. 3. Protein rich breakfast is always recommended, as it provides you feeling of fullness. This includes egg whites, dals, lentils (channa, rajmah, soyabean), meat, nuts like almonds. 4. Include at least 3-4 servings of vegetables every day. Include atleast 1-2 fruits (seasonal fruits are better. 5. Drink at least 2-2.5 litres of water every day. This will help to keep you hydrated. Breakfast: (Oats, poha, idly, dosa, paranthas, rotis) with equal amounts of veggies with 2 egg whites. Mid morning: 1 glass of butter milk Lunch: Rice/ roti with equal amounts of veggies. Maintain proper hygiene, take filtered water only. No smoking, no alcohol if any. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2 hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach. Edit answer.

I am 22 years old male and I weigh just 48 kgs. I am very serious about increasing my weight but I couldn't. Adding to this, I could not eat much food even though I am hungry.
