Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 twice a day after lunch and dinner. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Take green vegetables. Drink juice. Eat fruits. Drink 7-8 glass of water in a day. Dear sir, my dad he is 63 years old, he has back Pain from past 3 months we have done all MRI and other scan also finally we went to neurologist he has suggested to do Biopsy test, we did and we don't negative cancer and doctor said you have Tb and suggest us to take AKT-4 medication upto 18 month, we have taken only 8 days but my dad health going to be more pai full due to high gas, and even we don't know he has Tb or not, could you please suggest where I can check and get exact thing.

Diagnosis perhaps is dependent on biopsy result. If it is suggestive of TB, then it’s TB. If there is a confusion in the diagnosis then other sites need to be looked at for example chest. We can sometimes sample a chest lesion to confirm the diagnosis.

Hi should go for limb lengthening procedure. Mean while start wearing a modified shoe on shorter side. Shoe insole height to be increased for shorter leg. Regards.

How To Protect Your Knees?

The knee is known as the largest and one of the most complex joints in the human body, and also one of the most vulnerable, as it supports the weight of the entire body. The knee joint is made up of several elements including the knee cap, meniscus, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and muscles. Damage to any part of the knee can cause chronic pain. So how can you protect your knee from damage and injury? Take a look at these three points!

Dealing with Load: Weight is a big one. Carrying around extra pounds and kilograms can be detrimental for your knees in the long run. Your knee is not equipped to handle the excessive weight. It already supports three to five times your weight when you get up and walk around or indulge in some mild jogging. One must be careful of those extra pounds to take the load off the knee and keep it from falling prey to damage.
Exercise: Moderate to intense exercise is prescribed for one and all. This, of course, depends on one's overall health and age. If you are already suffering from joint pain, then you may want to go easy on the exercise with a focus on building muscle strength and foundation. If you are healthy, then some amount of daily exercise as a routine will keep those knees in prime working condition and well lubricated as well. Inactivity and a sedentary lifestyle can affect the knees very badly.

Do not Ignore: Warning signals such as chronic or acute knee pain should not be ignored. Remember to see a doctor or an orthopaedic specialist to find out if you have contracted an infection or if you may have suffered a fracture due to an injury. Also, it is important to take a bone density test regularly, especially after the age of 40 or for women going through menopause, as this will point to any deficiencies and even warn you in case there is any trace of osteoporosis.

Rest, exercise, and food should be kept in fine balance for a healthy body. These are a few measures that one can take to keep knee pain at bay. Yet, it is also advisable to speak with a doctor at length regarding measures to protect your knees. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Orthopedist.

घुटनों में दर्द एक सामान्य समस्या है जो ज्यादातर बुजुर्ग लोगों को परेशान करती है. यह कमजोर हड्डी और उम्र बढ़ने के कारण होती है. घुटनों में दर्द के सामान्य कारणों में फ्रैक्चर, मेनिसकस इंजरी, लिगमेंट इंजरी, गठिया, और अन्य बीमारी शामिल है. अगर यह दर्द गंभीर हो जाती है तो आपको रोजमर्रा के काम में भी मुश्किल आती है. हालांकि, अगर सही समय पर इसका इलाज किया जाता है तो दर्द से राहत मिलेगा. घुटनों में दर्द से राहत पाने के लिए कई उपाय निम्नलिखित हैं.

1.नीम्बू - नीम्बू में सिट्रिक एसिड होता है जो यूरिक एसिड क्रिस्टल के लिए एक साल्वेंट की तरह कार्य करता है. इसके उपयोग करने के लिए नींबू को स्लाइस में काट लें और सूती के कपड़ो में बाँध कर तिल के तेल में डूबा लें और इसे प्रभावित हिस्से पर 10 मिनट तक लगा कर रखें.

2. आइस पैक- आइस पैक आपको सूजन से राहत दिला सकती है, और दर्द को कम करता है. इससे ब्लड वेसल्स संकुचन हो जाता है और ब्लड का प्रवाह भी कम हो जाता है जो सूजन को कम करने में मदद करता है. अपने फ्रीज में जमे हुए आइस को किसी तौलियां या कपडे में लपेट कर रख दें. इसको 10 से 20 मिनट तक प्रभावित क्षेत्र पर रखें.

3. सरसों का तेल- सरसो का तेल एक पेनकिलर के रूप में कार्य करता है. यह जोड़ो के दर्द में मसाज के लिए उपयोग की जाती है. इसके अलावा सरसो तेल के सेवन शरीर के अंदरूनी दर्द से राहत प्रदान होता है. सरसो के चमच गर्म तेल में लहसुन के टुकड़े डालें और ब्राउन होने तक भुने. इस तेल को ठंडा करें और फिर अपने घुटनों पर मसाज करें.

4. नीलगिरि का तेल- नीलगिरि तेल को यूकेलिप्टस आयल भी कहा जाता है. इसमें दर्द निवारण गुण होते है जो घुटनों के दर्द से राहत प्रदान करता है. नीलगिरि तेल के साथ पुदीने के तेल की कुछ बुँदे मिलाकर दो चमच जैतून का तेल मिलाये. इस मिश्रण को रौशनी से दूर रखें और अँधेरे वाली जगह पर ढक कर रख दे.

5. सेब का सिरका- यह हड्डियों के जोड़ो में चिकनाई पहुंचाता है जो दर्द को कमकरता है और गतिशीलता को बढ़ावा देता है. आप दो चमच सेब के सिरके में दो कप पानी में मिलाएं और अच्छे से मिश्रण करने के बाद पी लें. इसे दर्द के कम होने तक रोजाना सेवन करते रहें.

6. हल्दी- हल्दी एक महान आयुर्वेदिक जड़ी बूटी है. इसमें करक्यूमिन पाया जाता है जिसमे सूजनरोधी और एंटीऑक्सीडेंट गुण होते है. हल्दी गठिया को कम करता है जो घुटने के दर्द का प्रमुख कारण है. हल्दी का इस्तेमाल करने के लिए एक कप पानी में एक या आधा चम्मच अदरक और हल्दी को मिलाकर इसे दस मिनट के लिए इसे ही उबालें. अब इस मिश्रण को छानकर इसमें हल्दी को मिलाकर इसे पूरे दिन में दो बार ज़रूर पियें. एक ग्लास दूध में एक चम्मच हल्दी पाउडर मिलाएं. अब इसे शहद के साथ मिक्स करें और पूरे दिन में एक बार ज़रूर पियें.

7. मेथी का बीज- मेथी के बीज में विभिन्न तरह एक एंटीऑक्सीडेंट पाए जाते है और इसके साथ एंटी-इंफ्लेमेटरी गुण भी होते है, जो दर्द और सूजन को कम करने के लिए एक कारगर और प्राकृतक उपाय है. मेथी के बीज को रात भर पानी में भिगोने के रख दें और फिर सुबह दाने को चबाएं. इस प्रक्रिया को कुछ हफ्तों तक दोहराये.

8. लाल मिर्च के फायदे - लाल मिर्च भी एक पेनकिलर के रूप में कार्य करता है. लाल मिर्च में मौजूद विटामिन सी, पोटेशियम, और मैगनीज लाभदायक होते है. यह आपके मांशपेशियों में सूजन, कमर दर्द या पीठ दर्द से राहत प्रदान करता है. इसके अलावा त्वचा पर कट, घाव या ब्लीडिंग के दौरान भी उपयोग की जाती है. लाल मिर्च को जैतून के तेल के साथ मिलकर रोजाना दो हफ्ते ताल प्रभावित हिस्सों पर लगाएं. इसके अलावा आप इसे सेब सिरका के साथ मिलाकर भी प्रभावित क्षेत्र पर लगाने से फायदा हो सकता है.

Best is YOGA... do regular gentle massage on affected area...do accupressure therapy a month...and take 5 min break session after every hou while doing work...sit in straight posture...stop takin pillow.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. Give ice cold compression 2-3 times daily. Apply crepe bandage. Keep the foot end elevated. Take rest. If no relief, consult doctor.

My TSH level at present is 7.7,T4-5.2, T3 -75 I am not on any drug. I was advised anti TPO test .Also thyrocare advises FT3 AND FT4 tests on my results. What are the advantages of the above tests and should I go for them I am experiencing a little swelling in my ankle/lower foot and dry skin even in summers. Please advise. THANKS.

I was advised anti TPO test .Also thyrocare advis...
T4 is the main hormone produced by the thyroid. T3 is mainly produced by peripheral conversion of T4. T3 and T4 are largely protein bound in the plasma, mainly to thyroxine-binding globulin (TBG). Only the unbound, or 'free' portion (FT3, FT4) is active. You have to do both tests.

It could be plantar fascitis. Go to a orthopaedic surgeon and get and x-ray done for heel spur. You should start wearing silicone heel pads in your shoes. Physical therapy can cure plantar fascitis. These days orthopaedic surgeons are also giving plasma injections to cure this disease. But 1st we need to make a diagnosis.
